Theme: Becoming the Best Friend of God.
When we were enemies, we were reconciled to God by the death of his Son..(Romans 5:10). Our relationship to God has many aspects: God is our Creator and Maker, Lord and Master. In Eden we see God’s relationship with Adam and Eve enjoyed an intimate friendship with God. There were no ceremonies–just a simple loving relationship between God and the people he created. We were made to live in God’s continual presence, but after the fall, that relationship was lost.
Then Jesus changed the situation. When he paid for our sins on the cross the veil in the temple that symbolized our separation from God was split from top to bottom, indicating that direct access to God was once again available. I pray for the grace of God for us and entire family of MOW to continue to be the best friend of God, until we see him face to face and part no more IJN. Amen.
