Topic: He Loves the Humble! – by Pastor Raphael

Text: Matthew 8:3

“And Jesus put forth his hand, and touched him, saying, I will; be thou clean. And immediately his leprosy was cleansed.” Matthew 8:3 (KJV)

Humility is the quality or state of not thinking you are better than other people. Humility is a virtue that proceeds from God. In fact, we can say that His nature is humility, and that is why He hates pride and arrogance. He opposes anyone who is proud and arrogant (James 4:6).

No wonder Lucifer lost his position in heaven due to pride and arrogance and his refusal to repent. He has now become the devil, or Satan, the opposer and perverter of anything good.

Dear beloved, if you want God to support you in all your endeavors, then learn to live a lifestyle of humility. He will not turn away worship and a request made from a humble heart. We can see this in the opening verse, where Jesus Christ answered the request of a humble leper; he worshipped Jesus Christ before making a humble request.

Beloved, Jesus Christ is always willing to answer the request of a worshipper who is truly humble. Therefore, let us learn from the leper and live a lifestyle of humility in our worship and service to God and our Lord Jesus Christ, and there will be no lack of anything good in our lives. Hallelujah! Be humble!

Dear heavenly Father, thank you for teaching me to be humble from your Word. I pledge today to live humbly before you in worship and in service to you, in Jesus’ name. Amen!

Sin and all that satan represents shall not have dominion over me. Romans 6:14

“A man’s pride shall bring him low: but honour shall uphold the humble in spirit.” Proverbs 29:23

James 4

Thank you Jesus for a NEW DAY:

“The LORD is my rock, and my fortress, and my deliverer; my God, my strength, in whom I will trust; my buckler, and the horn of my salvation, and my high tower”(Psalm 18:2).

Good morning brethren.

Grace and peace be multiplied to you (2Peter 1:2). Amen

Blessed Sunday beloved.

We bless God in Christ for a new day.

The word of God is the sweetest thing you can ever think of. The Psalmist knew this well:

“How sweet are thy words unto my taste! yea, sweeter than honey to my mouth!” (Psalm 119:103).

Our citizenship is NOT of this world!

Ephesians 2:19-20

Now therefore ye are no more strangers and foreigners, but fellow citizens with the saints, and of the household of God;

And are built upon the foundation of the apostles and prophets, Jesus Christ himself being the chief corner stone.

Thank you Jesus.
