The Word (61)-the Word of God is a fighter.
“Thou therefore endure hardness, as a good soldier of Jesus Christ. No man that warreth entangleth himself with the affairs of this life; that he may please him who hath chosen him to be a soldier” (2Tim 2:3-4)
Beloved
To be a winner, you have to be a fighter. Our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ is a fighter. He was a fighter while on earth to show us example. He never lost any battle while on earth.
Many Christians give up very easily when challenged. Many in the body of Christ lack understanding of the concept of persistence and perseverance. If you have the Word of God as your ally, and you are in good standing with him, you can never lose a battle unless you STOP fighting. However, never forget to put on the full armour of God (Ephesians 6:11).
Refuse to be distracted in your walk with the Word. Live out your faith in Christ Jesus. You can do all things through Christ who strengthens you ( Phil 4:13).
“Fight the good fight of faith, lay hold on eternal life, whereunto thou art also called, and hast professed a good profession before many witnesses” (1Timothy 6:12).
PRAYER
Father, please give me the grace to be a winner in the battles of life in Jesus Mighty Name. Amen.
