“Wherefore, my beloved, as ye have always obeyed, not as in my presence only, but now much more in my absence, work out your own salvation with fear and trembling” (Philippians 2:12).

Dearly Beloved 

Good morning to the people of God in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ. Blessed new week ahead.

Your salvation is the most single important gift from the Lord ; you need to protect it at all cost because salvation can be lost. Some Christians are not conscious of their salvation daily . We are admonished by our memory verse to regularly ‘work out your own salvation with fear and trembling ‘ ( Phil ‪2:12‬).

With the current events in the world there is no doubt that RAPTURE is at hand . The signs are very glaring. I agree with most the observers on this platform and outside this platform that every Christian should examine himself/herself and ensure that he/she is heaven bound. There is not much time left. The word says:

“Let not mercy and truth forsake thee: bind them about thy neck; write them upon the table of thine heart: So shalt thou find favour and good understanding in the sight of God and man” (Proverbs 3:3-4).

Life is full of challenges. In order to minimise distractions, we are to keep our mind and thoughts focused on the Word. The word of God is nourishing to your heart and spirit. Take time to ‘eat’ the word of God like Jeremiah, so as to sustain your joy in the Lord:

“Thy words were found, and I did eat them; and thy word was unto me the joy and rejoicing of mine heart: for I am called by thy name, O LORD God of hosts” (Jeremiah 15:16).

To grow spiritually requires daily meditation with the word of God (Joshua 1:8) and seeking first the kingdom of God and its righteousness (Matthew 6:33). It also requires total fear of God, and spiritual training in the word of God: “Train yourself to be godly”(1Tim 4:7-8 NIV).

Stay CONNECTED with the Jesus, the grace of God to humanity. Jesus is the Way, the Truth and the Life. He is the light of the world. He is the Spirit of God.
Connect, Change & Live ( CCL)

Keep your thoughts & mind positive.

Be compassionate with one another.

Be sensitive to the guidance of the Holy Spirit.

Thank you Jesus for granting salvation to a fallen humanity out of love.

Blood of Jesus envelopes us. Amen.

Be rest assured that the PRESENCE of the LORD is you, provided you believe and remain faithful. God’s promises to you:

“I will go before thee, and make the crooked places straight: I will break in pieces the gates of brass, and cut in sunder the bars of iron:
3 And I will give thee the treasures of darkness, and hidden riches of secret places, that thou mayest know that I, the LORD, which call thee by thy name, am the God of Israel” (Isaiah 45:2-3).

Word for Today : Our most powerful God.

Blessed Sunday beloved.

It’s very reassuring to know that we are serving the most powerful God in Christ Jesus:

“But the LORD is with me as a mighty terrible one: therefore my persecutors shall stumble, and they shall not prevail: they shall be greatly ashamed; for they shall not prosper: their everlasting confusion shall never be forgotten” (Jeremiah 20:11).

“Is not my word like as a fire? saith the LORD; and like a hammer that breaketh the rock in pieces?” ( Jeremiah 23:29)

Dearly Beloved

We bring you greetings in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ.

There is fire in the word of God. There is fire in the Holy Spirit. There can be no light without fire.
This why the entrance of the word of God into a man’s spirt and heart, produces light ( Psalm 119:130).

When you sufficiently soak yourself with the undiluted word of God, you will experience ‘fire’ burning physically in your body, soul and spirit. The more the fire burns the more you are set free indeed ( John 8:36). The more the fire burns, the more everything contrary to the nature of God finds it difficult to dwell in your body, soul and spirit.

The word of God is the sword of the Spirit ( Ephesians 6:17). The Holy Spirit and the word of God flow together in unity. John the Baptist declaration:
“I indeed baptize you with water unto repentance: but he that cometh after me is mightier than I, whose shoes I am not worthy to bear: he shall baptize you with the Holy Ghost, and with fire” ( Matthew 3:11).

Receive ye the Holy Spirit!

Stay connected with JESUS, the Word. He is the Way, Truth and Life. He is also the consuming fire ( Hebrews 12:29).

Prayer Point
Dear Father, please help us to experience the fire in your word as well as the fire component of the Holy Spirit in Jesus mighty name. Amen.
