Dearly Beloved,

We bring you greetings in the name of our Lord Jesus. Good morning brethren.
We have been promised ‘beauty for ashes’ and ‘oil of joy for mourning ‘. God honours his word above his name. His word can never lie. Let us remain faithful as ‘Ministers of our God’.

These are the promises of our God in Christ Jesus:
“To appoint unto them that mourn in Zion, to give unto them beauty for ashes, the oil of joy for mourning, the garment of praise for the spirit of heaviness; that they might be called trees of righteousness, the planting of the LORD, that he might be glorified.
4 And they shall build the old wastes, they shall raise up the former desolations, and they shall repair the waste cities, the desolations of many generations.
5 And strangers shall stand and feed your flocks, and the sons of the alien shall be your plowmen and your vinedressers.
6 But ye shall be named the Priests of the LORD: men shall call you the Ministers of our God: ye shall eat the riches of the Gentiles, and in their glory shall ye boast yourselves.
7 For your shame ye shall have double; and for confusion they shall rejoice in their portion: therefore in their land they shall possess the double: everlasting joy shall be unto them” (Isaiah 61:3-7)).

The grace of our Lord Jesus Christ be with you all. Amen (Philippians 4:23).

Improving Our Spiritual Understanding.

Dearly Beloved,

We bless God in Christ for a new day.

In our walk with the Lord, let us endeavour to have increasing understanding of his ministry and mission on earth, so that we can do likewise. Jesus summarised his mission on earth thus, quoting from the book of Isaiah:

“The Spirit of the Lord is upon me, because he hath anointed me to preach the gospel to the poor; he hath sent me to heal the brokenhearted, to preach deliverance to the captives, and recovering of sight to the blind, to set at liberty them that are bruised,
To preach the acceptable year of the Lord” (Luke 4:18-19).

Jesus was reading from the book of Isaiah:

“The Spirit of the Lord God is upon me; because the Lord hath anointed me to preach good tidings unto the meek; he hath sent me to bind up the brokenhearted, to proclaim liberty to the captives, and the opening of the prison to them that are bound; To proclaim the acceptable year of the Lord, and the day of vengeance of our God; to comfort all that mourn” (Isaiah 61:1-2).

May God give us the grace to make these our daily focus as we minister to others in Jesus name. Amen.

Brethren, this is the acceptable year of the Lord.

In your walk with the Lord, desire more and more of the fruit of Spirit. There is no law against them.

“But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, longsuffering, gentleness, goodness, faith,
Meekness, temperance: against such there is no law” (Galatians 5:22-23).

Thank you Jesus, the Way, the Truth and the Life; the King of glory.

“Every good gift and every perfect gift is from above, and cometh down from the Father of lights, with whom is no variableness, neither shadow of turning” ( James 1:17).

Happy Sunday to the family of our great God in Christ Jesus. You are highly favoured by the King of glory.

“Who is this King of glory? The LORD of hosts, he is the King of glory. Selah” ( Psalm 24:10).

The Psalmist further revealed:
“When I consider thy heavens, the work of thy fingers, the moon and the stars, which thou hast ordained; What is man, that thou art mindful of him? and the son of man, that thou visitest him? For thou hast made him a little lower than the angels, and hast crowned him with glory and honour” (Psalm 8:3-4).

Thank you Jesus, the Way, the Truth and the Life.

Indeed, you are the King of Glory.
