The Word (27)-the Word of God hates SIN.

MOW-True Spirituality

Word for Today

The Word (27)-the Word of God hates SIN.

“Afterward Jesus findeth him in the temple, and said unto him, Behold, thou art made whole: sin no more, lest a worse thing come unto thee” (John 5:14).

Beloved

The Word of God loves sinners but He passionately hates sin. Many people have lost their grace and blessings in life because of falling victim of the three letters word, SIN.
In my opinion, sin begins with our thoughts, words and progress to actions that are contrary to the word of God. Sin attracts many adverse consequences, including diseases as Jesus himself highlighted in the above scripture .

There may be no universally acceptable definition of sin. However, I love Saint James revelation of it:

“Therefore to him that knoweth to do good, and doeth it not, to him it is sin” (James 4:17).

Please, stop sinning or worse challenges will come to you.

Receive the grace to abstain from sin in Jesus Mighty Name. Amen.

The Word (26)-the Word says the kingdom of God is not food, drink and money.

MOW-True Spirituality

Word for Today

The Word (26)-the Word says the kingdom of God is not food, drink or money.

“For the kingdom of God is not meat and drink; but righteousness, and peace, and joy in the Holy Ghost” (Romans 14:17)

Beloved

The kingdom of God is a kingdom of righteousness, peace & joy in the Holy Ghost.
I have observed pictures of money on internet such as Facebook by some ministries asking people to type ‘amen’ and key into new anointing for financial blessing, in a rather magical way. Please, be very careful in keying into it. No doubt, many are exploiting the current level of poverty especially in Nigeria and the get rich quick mentality of some people. Please, be cautious. Do NOT say ‘amen’ to such messages. Please, pray and find out the truth for yourself.
God is more than able to supply all your needs ( Ephesians 3:20). Focus on Him and put trust in Him.

“But seek ye first the kingdom of God, and his righteousness; and all these things shall be added unto you ” ( Matthew 6:33).

Receive the grace to put your trust and focus on the Word in Jesus Mighty Name. Amen.

The Word (25)-Let the ministry of the word be your number one priority.

MOW-True Spirituality

Word for Today

The Word (25)-Let the ministry of the word be your number one priority.

“But we will give ourselves continually to prayer, and to the ministry of the word” (Acts 6:4)

Beloved

When the Lord revealed the ministry of the word (Acts 6:4) to me in 2008, very little did I know of what he wanted me to do with it.
We bless God for grace; on a daily basis, the Lord Himself is making the vision clearer. No doubt many people that the Lord has connected with me through this ministry, still lack good understanding of the vision of the ministry.

The Word of God wants to occupy the CENTRE of your heart, not the periphery, right side or the left. Prayerfully sharing the pure undiluted word of God with others should not be something you do when it’s convenient. Please, learn to make it your number one priority. There after, in Christ Jesus, you will begin to experience God in a dimension you never dreamed of.

“But seek ye first the kingdom of God, and his righteousness; and all these things shall be added unto you ” ( Matthew 6:33).

Receive the grace to make the ministry of the word of God your number one priority in Jesus Mighty Name. Amen.

The Word (24)-the Word of God should give you peace, victory & prosperity.

MOW-True Spirituality

Word for Today

The Word (24)-the Word of God should give you peace, victory & prosperity.

“For I know the thoughts that I think toward you, saith the LORD, thoughts of peace, and not of evil, to give you an expected end” (Jeremiah 29:11)

Beloved

The thoughts of God (words of God) toward you are those of peace and prosperity. However, it’s your personal responsibility to align your own thoughts (and words) with that of God. Think and plan no evil towards anyone, and evil should never prosper in your life. Remember, in life, you reap what you sow.
The word of God is all about goodness. Sow the word of God into the life of others and watch the harvest time. There is no reason to fear, when you follow goodness. The Word asks:

“And who is he that will harm you, if ye be followers of that which is good? ” (1Peter 3:13).

Receive the grace to align your thoughts with the word of God in Jesus Mighty Name. Amen.

The Word (23)-the word of God should reveal your error and keep you from sinning.

MOW-True Spirituality

Word for Today

The Word (23)-the word of God should reveal your error and keep you from sinning.

“All scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness…” (2Timothy 3:16-17).

Beloved

The word of God should guide you in life. God has designed His word to reveal your errors and mistakes in life and to instruct you in righteousness. Do everything you need to do to embrace the word of God and keep Him in your heart.

As you meditate on the word of God daily and store them in your heart, the word of God should prevent you from sinning. Hence, the Psalmist said:

“Thy word have I hid in mine heart, that I might not sin against thee” (Psalm 119:11).

Receive the grace to meditate and keep the the word of God in your heart in Jesus Mighty Name. Amen.

The Word (22)-the word of God is FIRE.

MOW-True Spirituality

Word for Today

The Word (22)- the word of God is FIRE.

“Is not my word like as a fire? saith the LORD; and like a hammer that breaketh the rock in pieces?” (Jeremiah 23:29)

Beloved

The word of God is fire. Everyone knows that anyone who plays with fire could get burned. If you have made up your mind to serve God, then serve God with everything in you. God does not tolerate nonsense. Do not try to mess up with Him. True, He is the Lamb of God, but He is also the consuming FIRE (Hebrews 12:29).

Do not be lukewarm about Jesus, the Word. Choose to be on fire for the Him or choose to remain cold. The Word hates lukewarmness. Hear Him:
“So then because thou art lukewarm, and neither cold nor hot, I will spue thee out of my mouth” ( Revelation 3:16).

Receive the grace to be on FIRE for the Word of God in Jesus Mighty Name. Amen.

Know the true SOURCE of Power.

Ministry of the Word (MOW)

MOW-True Spirituality

Improving our Spiritual Understanding

Theme: Know the true SOURCE of Power.

Memory Verse:

“But ye shall receive power, after that the Holy Ghost is come upon you: and ye shall be witnesses unto me both in Jerusalem, and in all Judaea, and in Samaria, and unto the uttermost part of the earth (Acts 1:8).

Beloved,

Glory be to God and to our Lord Jesus Christ in the highest, for His awesomeness, faithfulness, power and love. In Christ, God alone is worthy of our praise. As we praise Him daily, may He extend His fire to us, and take us to a higher level of knowledge , wisdom and understanding of Him, in Jesus name. Amen.
In Christ Jesus, may God open our eyes to understand the scriptures in Jesus name. Amen.
Beloved, power is the ability to do work. Everyone requires empowerment. Without power, we can do nothing. The truth is that there are many sources of empowerment. Empowerment could come from the Holy Spirit, as promised in our memory verse. Empowerment could come from Satan and his demons but not without a price(limited power compared with power from the Holy Spirit from the living Almighty God).

Empowerment could come from man (even more limited empowerment), especially if such a person occupies very high position such as president of a country, Prime Minister or head of state of a country.
Within the body of Christ (the church), I am often amazed that believers run very easily to pastors, prophets, bishops, deliverance ministers at the slightest challenge, without even bothering to know the SOURCE of their power. In Acts 16:16-19, a certain damsel possessed with an evil spirit of divination was being used by her master for material gain via soothsaying. Thank God for the superior power of the Holy Spirit in apostle Paul which cast away the spirit from her as she was taunting Paul and his colleagues. There are many people using the name of Jesus as a cover, but operating with contrary spirit. On that day my Father will tell them:

” I never knew you: depart from me, ye that work iniquity” (Matthew 7:23).

As Christian, have you taken time to understand the source of power of that ‘great’ man or woman of God you have been following. There is power and there is POWER! Ask God for the spirit of discernment, to understand what spirits operate in people. It’s either the Holy Spirit or not. There should be no mixing.
Why do believers readily take their look or focus away from the true source of their empowerment-the God of our Lord Jesus Christ. Every true believer should learn to stay CONNECTED to the Truth, the true source of empowerment. The bishop and the president may fail you, but Jesus can never fail you. He says, I will never leave you nor forsake you (Hebrews 13:5). Meditate on the word of God and apply it to yourself and it will generate revelational power in you.
The word of God says you can do all things through Christ who strengthens you(Phil 4:13). That verse did not say you can do all things by running to a bishop or deliverance minister or president of country. Do not limit yourself. In Christ Jesus, you are a king and a priest (Revelation 1:6). At the name of Jesus Christ, every sickness, disease, distress, challenge should bow.

The word of God says put no confidence in the flesh:

“Thus saith the LORD; Cursed be the man that trusteth in man, and maketh flesh his arm, and whose heart departeth from the LORD” (Jeremiah 17:5).

Have a Spirit-filled week and for the rest of the year.

To grow spiritually requires daily meditation with the word of God (Joshua 1:8) and seeking first the kingdom of God and its righteousness (Matthew 6:33). However, the first thing you must desire greatly is total spiritual freedom through the truth in the word of God ( John 8:32, 36).

Prayer: There is someone reading this message, receive the grace to have spirit of discernment inJesus mighty name. Amen
