Greetings to everyone in the name of the Lord, especially the family of our Father.As we study and meditate on the word of God, the Word has the capacity to transform us. God is eager to transform us to the image of his first born Son, Jesus Christ. The Scripture says:
“For whom he did foreknow, he also did predestinate to be conformed to the image of his Son, that he might be the firstborn among many brethren” (Rm 8:29).Brethren, no one can become the son of God by his own strength. We are empowered by the Holy Ghost. The only thing required of us is faith in the Word. The Scripture says:
“But as many as received him, to them gave he power to become the sons of God, even to them that believe on his name” (John 1:12).Jesus Christ, himself enables us to know that no one can receive him (ie believe him or have faith in him), unless his Father draws that person:
“No man can come to me, except the Father which hath sent me draw him: and I will raise him up at the last day” (John 6:44).My beloved brethren, our memory verse above assure us that the word of God is capable of transforming us to the image of Christ by renewing our mind. God does not want us to conform to the pattern and principles of this world.
The plan of God in our lives is to transform us to the image and likeness of his first born Son, Jesus Christ. Hence brother Paul says:
“For the earnest expectation of the creature waiteth for the manifestation of the sons of God” (Rm 8:19).In the course of my practice as a psychiatrist, I have seen very many people go through unnecessary torment, bondage, oppressions, diseases, sickness, fear etc. The word of Proverbs says it is not good for the soul to be without knowledge: Also, that the soul be without knowledge, it is not good; and he that hasteth with his feet sinneth (Prov 19:2).
The Holy Spirit in Christ Jesus, is the most powerful spirit in heaven, earth, and underneath the earth. Having the understanding and willingly surrendering our human spirit to the Lordship of the Holy Spirit in Christ Jesus guarantees us joy, peace, harmony, divine health, and freedom indeed(John 8:36). This is the truth of the gospel. It is not merely about regularly ”going to Church” in the superficial sense, though fellowship is good. It is about allowing yourself to be transformed personally, by the power in the word of God.
Stay connected with Jesus, the Word; the wisdom and power of God; the Spirit of God.
Prayer points
Father, we ask for your grace of transformation as we study your word in Jesus name. Amen
Thank you Father for the recent peaceful elections in Nigeria. We know that subsequent elections will be more peaceful in Jesus name. Amen.Blood of Jesus.

Blessed new day.Be content with your circumstances. The Word says:
But godliness with contentment is great gain. For we brought nothing into this world, and it is certain we can carry nothing out.
And having food and raiment let us be therewith content. But they that will be rich fall into temptation and a snare, and into many foolish and hurtful lusts, which drown men in destruction and perdition(1Timothy 6-9)Be content with what you have. Let’s keep our faith alive. Nothing is impossible with our God in Christ Jesus ( Luke 1:37).

I have come to accept that it is not easy to have God’s kind of love. Sometimes, I realize that I am struggling to love people or have deep affection for particular persons in my life; A friend, roomate or some people close to me , especially those who might have dissapionted me, then it dropped in my heart that only getting into God’s word and asking him for strength and grace to love as He loves us; that is when I can overcome the challenges. The Word says:
“We love him, because he first loved us” (1John 4:19).I found out that when I am irritable, I know that I have been lacking in the word of God. I tell myself, “Abby you have to get back into the word of God”. I have to get back into meditating on the word of God ( Joshua 1:8), not just scanning the bible . I realized that seeing things from God’s perspective makes me feel better when the odd feeling comes. I begin to appreciate that focusing on God’s word makes me understand who I am. I believe what Pastor Nike Adeyemi said in her book: “The Word of God is like a mirrior”; just that many atimes, we don’t look at it sufficiently enough. The Word of God changes us from one level of glory to another, according to apostle Paul in his epistle to the Corinthians (2Corinthins 3:18).
Only the word of God can enable a man to have God’s kind of love.
Prayer Verse
“Behold, what manner of love the Father hath bestowed upon us, that we should be called the sons of God: therefore the world knoweth us not, because it knew him not” (1John 3:1).Dear Father, please give me the grace to have your kind of love in Jesus name. Amen

Dearly Beloved
God is speaking to every believer, be strong and of good courage.
If you are a Nigerian, hear the word of the Lord clearly, be strong and of good courage…(Joshua 1:6). Do not be afraid. Go out and vote wisely.
God is about to surprise many Nigerians with a NEW NIGERIA.
“But our God is in the heavens: he hath done whatsoever he hath pleased” ( Psalm 115:3)
Remember, the word of God is fire:
“Is not my word like as a fire? saith the LORD; and like a hammer that breaketh the rock in pieces?” ( Jeremiah 23:29)Stay connected with the Word, the power of God. The Word of God is in charge!
Thank you Jesus for giving us a New Nigeria against all odds. It’s because of the LORD’s mercies we are not consumed (Lamentation 3:22)
