Text:Psalm 94:9-11

9 He that planted the ear, shall he not hear? he that formed the eye, shall he not see?
10 He that chastiseth the heathen, shall not he correct? he that teacheth man knowledge, shall not he know?
11 The Lord knoweth the thoughts of man, that they are vanity.

The All knowing God not only sees, but He also hears. In Exodus 3:7, He said He has both seen the affliction of His children and heard their cry.
God hears both audible and inaudible words.

Ephesians 3:20 Now unto him that is able to do exceeding abundantly *above all that we ask or think*, according to the power that worketh in us
He knows our thoughts.

Psalm 94:9 says,
“He that planted the ear, shall he not hear? he that formed the eye, shall he not see?”

I often wondered how big God’s ears would be for Him to hear everyone calling on Him from the four corners of the world.
Psalm 50:15 says,
“And call upon me in the day of trouble: I will deliver thee, and thou shalt glorify me.”

*God is ready to hear your cry. Call upon Him today!*
Are you in need or in danger? Cry to the Lord and He will hear you.

*The only hindrance is sin Isaiah 59:1-2, sin can make Him not to hear you.*
Confess your sin and forsake them and you will obtain mercy. Pro 28:13

He will hear your cry as you call upon Him today.

God hears the cry of His people, whatever you are going through, cry unto Him today.

PRAYER
Father, thank you because you hear me. Please hear my cry and put an end to unpleasant situation in my life in Jesus name.

Dearly Beloved

The earnest prayer of a righteous person is powerful and effective. Let us pray!

“Hear my cry, O God; attend unto my prayer.

From the end of the earth will I cry unto thee, when my heart is overwhelmed: lead me to the rock that is higher than I.

For thou hast been a shelter for me, and a strong tower from the enemy.

I will abide in thy tabernacle for ever: I will trust in the covert of thy wings. Selah.

For thou, O God, hast heard my vows: thou hast given me the heritage of those that fear thy name.

Thou wilt prolong the king’s life: and his years as many generations.

He shall abide before God for ever: O prepare mercy and truth, which may preserve him. So will I sing praise unto thy name for ever, that I may daily perform my vows (Psalm 61:1-8).

*Topic :* Overcoming Temptation

7. “Jesus said unto him, It is written again, Thou shalt not tempt the Lord thy God.

10. Then saith Jesus unto him, Get thee hence, Satan: for it is written, Thou shalt worship the Lord thy God, and him only shalt thou serve” (Matthew 4:7, 10).

Temptation means to persuade or entice a person to do something wrong or unwise.

In most cases, people are tempted through their mind. What constitutes temptation to people, in most cases, has to do with their heart’s desire. People are tempted to pursue their heart desire contrary to what God are expecting them to do.

The faithfulness of God allows every man to be tempted within his ability; therefore, God does not allow us to be tempted beyond our ability to overcome. 1 Corinthians 10:13

He provides a way for us in his Word to win over temptation, therefore, instead of complaining what one needs to do is to find that way of escape in the midst of the temptation through the word of God.

If you don’t find it what do you do?

What you do is to pray for God to show you that way of escape.

He also gives us the grace to bear temptations just as He gave Jesus Christ the grace to endure and overcome his temptations. We should also understand that God tests us but the devil tempts us. The intention of God in testing is to promote us but the intention of the devil in temptation is to discredit and run us down.

Dear beloved, the victory of Jesus over Satan assured us that with the word of God we too can overcome the wiles of devil.

Father, today I will take steps toward seeing your plans come to pass in my life in Jesus name Habakkuk 2:2, Proverbs 29:18

Dearly Beloved

Good morning to you all, especially the family of our Lord Jesus Christ. This is the day the Lord has made.

To live in Christ Jesus, we have to daily eat the Word of God, which is Jesus Christ.

Jesus said:

“As the living Father hath sent me, and I live by the Father: so he that eateth me, even he shall live by me” ( John 6:57).

“Then Jesus said unto them, Verily, verily, I say unto you, Except ye eat the flesh of the Son of man, and drink his blood, ye have no life in you” ( John 6:53).

These were regarded as ‘hard’ messages even when Jesus was on earth. Indeed, many disciples left him on account of this(John 6:66).

Have you eaten the Bread of Life today?

Jesus: “I am that bread of life” (John 6:48).

Prophet Jeremiah declared:

“Thy words were found, and I did eat them; and thy word was unto me the joy and rejoicing of mine heart: for I am called by thy name, O LORD God of hosts” (Jeremiah 15:16).

The joy you need to live a long enduring life is in the word of God.

Stay connected to Jesus Christ-the Word of God. The truth, the way and the life.

Be compassionate and kind to one another.

Be sensitive to the Holy Spirit.

Prayer Point

Dear Father, please help us to keep our mind and focus on things that honour you in Jesus mighty name. Amen. Father, please continue to frustrate and expose every pretender and wrong doer in our churches and societies in Jesus name. Amen.
