Memory Verse

“In the multitude of words there wanteth not sin: but he that refraineth his lips is wise” (Proverbs 10:19).

Dearly Beloved,
This is the day the LORD has made, we shall rejoice and be glad in it.

There are people  who naturally like talking so much that it can be very difficult to interrupt them, even in the body of Christ (the church). Always remember our memory verse. Let’s learn from the wisest king of Israel who ever lived, who admonished us:

“Be not rash with thy mouth, and let not thine heart be hasty to utter any thing before God: for God is in heaven, and thou upon earth: therefore let thy words be few” (Ecclesiastes 5:2).

Let’s learn from Jesus Himself who when he was tortured, tormented and about to be crucified did not talk much, rather simply spoke a few words:

“…Father, forgive them; for they know not what they do…” ( Luke 23:34).

The word of God admonishes to learn silence :

“Be still, and know that I am God: I will be exalted among the heathen, I will be exalted in the earth” ( Psalm 46:10).

Stay connected with Jesus, the Word. Seek knowledge, wisdom and understanding. Stand by the truth. Only the truth can make you free indeed ( John 8:32).

Be careful with your thoughts, words, and actions.

Prayer Points

Father, please help use to choose a life of righteousness in Jesus name. Amen. Please, Father, continue to expose every pretender in our midst in Jesus name. Amen.

Word for Today: Go and SIN no more!

Word for Today: Go and SIN no more!

Ministry Of the Word (MOW): True Spirituality (TS).

Improving Our Spiritual Understanding

Memory Verse:

“Afterward Jesus findeth him in the temple, and said unto him, Behold, thou art made whole: sin no more, lest a worse thing come unto thee”(John 5:14).

Dearly Beloved

Good morning to the family of our Lord Jesus Christ.

In our memory verse, JESUS later met the man who was impotent for 38 years, which He restored (John 5:5-9), and appealed to the man to stop sinning, having been made whole or worse thing would happen to him.

Beloved, if you truly want to enjoy your Christian life, you have to draw a battle line against sin. A man of God in his message once said : “Sin has has the capacity to retain you at the same level”. I totally agree. If you do not deal with sin in your life, sin will deal with you.

Sin is basically unrighteousness. Unfortunately, many children of God in the Church, often toy with sin. Many are NOT bothered about fornicating, lying, cheating, deceiving and manipulating others. Some people even call such manipulation ‘wisdom’. Believe me, sin is very dangerous. One of the best definitions of sin, I often like to refer to is the one given by Saint James:

“Therefore to him that knoweth to do good, and doeth it not, to him it is sin” ( James 4:17).

Brother James is telling us here that sin has to do with knowledge. Doing good to ourselves and others, starts with our thoughts not just actions.

What are your thoughts towards yourself and others? How lively and edifying are the words you speak to others? The words of God are Word of Life(1John 1:1), meaning that the words of Satan(doubt, fear, unbelief) are words of death. No wonder the same Saint James says a perfect person is the one who makes no mistakes with his tongue: “For in many things we offend all. If any man offend not in word, the same is a perfect man, and able also to bridle the whole body” (James 3:2).

JESUS, our role model was anointed to go out and do good ( Acts 10:38). There was no trace of sin, evil, manipulation or wickedness in Him. Truly, only in righteousness are we established (Isaiah 54:14). Nothing can harm us if we use our anointing for goodness and we refrain from evil (1Peter 3:13).

Actually, the depth of our anointing is dependent on our commitment to love righteousness and hate sin:

“Thou hast loved righteousness, and hated iniquity; therefore God, even thy God, hath anointed thee with the oil of gladness above thy fellows” (Hebrews 1:9).

Henceforth, go out and do good to others. Go out and show love to others. Love covers multitude of sins (1Peter 4:8).

“Be ye therefore perfect, even as your Father which is in heaven is perfect” ( Matthew 5:48).

Stay connected with Jesus, the light of the world. He is the Spirit of God ; He is the wisdom and power of God; He is the Way, the Truth and the Life.

To grow spiritually entails daily meditating in the word of God( Joshua 1:8).

Memory Verse

“Behold, I stand at the door, and knock: if any man hear my voice, and open the door, I will come in to him, and will sup with him, and he with me” ( Revelations 3:20).

Dearly Beloved

We salute the family of the living God in the name of Jesus.

Jesus Christ is calling you to come closer to Him. He is knocking at the door of your heart. Jesus is coming back to judge the world much sooner than later. Are you prepared to meet with Him? Are you pure in heart? ( Matthew 5:8).

Please , accept the spiritual invitation of Jesus. If you are not yet saved, ask God for mercies NOW. You cannot afford to toy with your salvation. Events in the world today are clearly pointing to the second coming of our Lord Jesus Christ; this time He will judge the world. Tomorrow may be too late. He says:

“I am Alpha and Omega, the beginning and the end, the first and the last. Blessed are they that do his commandments, that they may have right to the tree of life, and may enter in through the gates into the city (Revelations 22:13-14).

Accept Jesus Christ today as your Lord and Saviour and write your name in Book of Life.

“Thy word is a lamp unto my feet, and a light unto my path” (Psalm 119:105)

Dearly Beloved

Greetings to the great people of God in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ.

Let’s bless the name of the LORD for ever and ever. Let the word of God guide your life. The LORD has given us His word. What have you been doing with the word of God? To what extent can you be trusted with the word of God? Once God has spoken, the word of God can never return to Him void (Isaiah 55:11).

God has given us His word. Let the word of God guide your steps. Remember, everyone shall give account of his or her stewardship on earth one day. Jesus is Lord and the light of the world:

“The LORD is my light and my salvation; whom shall I fear? the LORD is the strength of my life; of whom shall I be afraid?” ( Psalm 27:1).
