“There is that speaketh like the piercings of a sword: but the tongue of the wise is health” ( Proverbs 12:18).

Dearly Beloved

Learn to be sensitive to your thoughts and words. Your words come out of the abundance of your thoughts.

Be wise with your tongue. Learn to speak only living words in Christ Jesus. The word of Proverbs admonished:

“Death and life are in the power of the tongue: and they that love it shall eat the fruit thereof” (Proverbs 18:21)

Let me leave you with the final words of Apostle Paul to the Philippians:

“Finally, brethren, whatsoever things are true, whatsoever things are honest, whatsoever things are just, whatsoever things are pure, whatsoever things are lovely, whatsoever things are of good report; if there be any virtue, and if there be any praise, think on these things” ( Philippians 4:8).

We bless God Almighty for ushering us into His new month of perfection. July is symbolic of perfection. Expect perfect gifts from the Father of Light this month. Every good and perfect gift is from above…James 1:17).

“O magnify the LORD with me, and let us exalt his name together” ( Psalm 34:3).

“Rejoice in the Lord alway: and again I say, Rejoice” ( Philippians 4:4).

“Rejoice evermore” (1Thessalonians 5:16)

Improving Our Spiritual Understanding

True Spiritual Therapy (TST)

“But ye shall receive power, after that the Holy Ghost is come upon you: and ye shall be witnesses unto me both in Jerusalem, and in all Judaea, and in Samaria, and unto the uttermost part of the earth” ( Acts 1:8).

Dearly Beloved

Happy and Spirit-filled weekend to God’s family.

Every Christian needs empowerment by the Holy Spirit, otherwise effective Christian living will be difficult if not impossible. Soul winning is extremely difficult without the help of the Holy Spirit. The moment you accept Jesus Christ as your Lord and Saviour, there is a measure of the Holy Spirit that you receive at your confession, depending on the level of your faith when you received Christ.

However, receiving Jesus Christ is the beginning of what is often difficult race, which is largely spiritual. You require subsequent empowerment by the Holy Spirit to be victorious in the race. You need some level of humility, water baptism by immersion , hunger for righteousness before Holy Spirit baptism by His grace. This is where a good Word based church is very important. To show us example, Jesus Himself went through the process before being empowered. The bible tells us:

“How God anointed Jesus of Nazareth with the Holy Ghost and with power: who went about doing good, and healing all that were oppressed of the devil; for God was with him” (Acts 10:38).

Beloved, Christianity is not a mere mental exercise as some ‘great’ individuals and organisations would want us to believe. Our prayer and fasting should be accompanied by work. Without empowerment by the Holy Spirit, we can do nothing. Not by might, not by power , but by the Spirit of the living God ( Zechariah 4:6).

You might have been a Christian for many years, but if you have not been baptised by the Holy Spirit, cry to God in Christ Jesus, in total repentance . Ensure you go through the required spiritual process.

Stay connected to JESUS, the Word. Be knowledgeable and wise. Be enlightened.

Become a DISCIPLE, AMBASSADOR and a MISSIONARY for Jesus Christ daily.

To grow spiritually requires daily meditation with the word of God (Joshua 1:8) and seeking first the kingdom of God and its righteousness (Matthew 6:33). It also requires total fear of God, and spiritual training in the word of God: “Train yourself to be godly”(1Tim 4:7-8 NIV).

Prayer Point

Dear Father, through this medium let every Christian who has NOT yet been baptised in your Holy Spirit experience the Spirit baptism in Jesus mighty name. Amen.
