Word for Today: Let’s learn repentance from the Psalmist.

Word for Today :

Let’s learn repentance from the Psalmist.

Ministry Of the the Word (MOW): True Spirituality(TS)

Memory Verse

“For I acknowledge my transgressions: and my sin is ever before me” (Psalm 51:3).

Dearly Beloved

It’s one thing to offend God in our words and actions, but it’s a different thing how we react thereafter. Most of us are familiar with the sins of king David, involving the wife of Uriah, yet God still regards David as ‘a man after my heart’. We can learn repentance from the Psalmist as we read Psalm 51.

“Have mercy upon me, O God, according to thy lovingkindness: according unto the multitude of thy tender mercies blot out my transgressions.

Wash me throughly from mine iniquity, and cleanse me from my sin.

For I acknowledge my transgressions: and my sin is ever before me.

Against thee, thee only, have I sinned, and done this evil in thy sight: that thou mightest be justified when thou speakest, and be clear when thou judgest.

Behold, I was shapen in iniquity; and in sin did my mother conceive me.

Behold, thou desirest truth in the inward parts: and in the hidden part thou shalt make me to know wisdom.

Purge me with hyssop, and I shall be clean: wash me, and I shall be whiter than snow.

Make me to hear joy and gladness; that the bones which thou hast broken may rejoice.

Hide thy face from my sins, and blot out all mine iniquities.

Create in me a clean heart, O God; and renew a right spirit within me.

Cast me not away from thy presence; and take not thy holy spirit from me.

Restore unto me the joy of thy salvation; and uphold me with thy free spirit.

Then will I teach transgressors thy ways; and sinners shall be converted unto thee.

Deliver me from bloodguiltiness, O God, thou God of my salvation: and my tongue shall sing aloud of thy righteousness.

O Lord, open thou my lips; and my mouth shall shew forth thy praise.

For thou desirest not sacrifice; else would I give it: thou delightest not in burnt offering.

The sacrifices of God are a broken spirit: a broken and a contrite heart, O God, thou wilt not despise.

Do good in thy good pleasure unto Zion: build thou the walls of Jerusalem.

Then shalt thou be pleased with the sacrifices of righteousness, with burnt offering and whole burnt offering: then shall they offer bullocks upon thine altar” (Psalm 51:1-19).

In Christ, God is very merciful. Cry to Him in repentance if you have derailed, no matter the gravity of your offence.

Stay connected with JESUS, the Truth, the Way and the Life.

Prayer Point:

Dear Father, Create in me a clean heart, O God; and renew a right spirit within me ( Psalm 51:10). In Jesus mighty name we pray. Amen.

Thank you JESUS for a new day.

Word for Today: Many people are yet to experience the FIRE in the word of God.

Word for Today :

Many people are yet to experience the FIRE in the word of God.

Ministry Of the the Word (MOW): True Spirituality(TS)

Memory Verse

Is not my word like as a fire? saith the LORD; and like a hammer that breaketh the rock in pieces?” ( Jeremiah 23:29)

Dear Beloved

There is fire in the word of God. There can be no light without fire.

This why the entrance of the word of God into a man’s spirt and heart, produces light ( Psalm 119:130).

The Word of God is also called the ‘consuming fire’ ( Hebrews 12:29). We all know that if we play carelessly with fire, we get burned. We all should learn to interact with the consuming fire with caution and awe.

When you sufficiently soak yourself with the undiluted word of God, you will experience ‘fire’ burning physically in your body, soul and spirit. The more the fire burns the more you are set free indeed ( John 8:36). The more the fire burns, the more everything contrary to the nature of God finds it difficult to dwell in your body, soul and spirit.

The word of God is the sword of the Spirit ( Ephesians 6:17). The Holy Spirit and the word of God flow together in unity. John the Baptist declared:

“I indeed baptize you with water unto repentance: but he that cometh after me is mightier than I, whose shoes I am not worthy to bear: he shall baptize you with the Holy Ghost, and with fire” ( Matthew 3:11).

Receive ye the Holy Spirit!

Stay connected with JESUS, the Word. He is the Way, Truth and Life.

To grow spiritually requires daily meditation with the word of God (Joshua 1:8) and seeking first the kingdom of God and its righteousness (Matthew 6:33). It also requires total fear of God, and spiritual training in the word of God: “Train yourself to be godly”(1Tim 4:7-8 NIV).

Prayer Point

Dear Father, please help us to experience the fire in your word as well as the fire component of the Holy Spirit in Jesus mighty name. Amen.

Blood of Jesus! Blood of Jesus!

Thank you Jesus for giving me a new beginning.

Yours in the Vineyard of Christ.

Word for Today: Perfection is NOT impossible with imperfect man.

Word for Today: Perfection is NOT impossible with imperfect man.

Ministry Of the Word(MOW) : True Spirituality (TS)

Memory Verse

“And when Abram was ninety years old and nine, the LORD appeared to Abram, and said unto him, I am the Almighty God; walk before me, and be thou perfect” (Genesis 17:1).

Dearly Beloved

God would NOT expect His children to be perfect if perfection was not a reality. Jesus Christ is a living example of a perfect man who ever lived. Let’s emulate Him. He admonished us:

“Be ye therefore perfect, even as your Father which is in heaven is perfect” ( Matthew 5:48).

In Christ Jesus, our God is perfect and He expects His children to walk with Him in perfection. Many Christians are unable to pay attention to details. They treat mistakes and errors lightly. A single mistake may be bad enough to end a person’s life prematurely. The truth is that no man can be perfect by his own strength or works but the Holy Spirit of God accomplishes perfection . When God called Abraham, he was directed to pay attention to details and be perfect.

In Christ Jesus our God does not compromise on perfection:

“Every good gift and every perfect gift is from above, and cometh down from the Father of lights, with whom is no variableness, neither shadow of turning” ( James 1:17).

As you study the word of God, you should learn to pay attention to details and be diligent. All the blessings of Deuteronomy 28:1-14, requires diligence and perfection.

Stay connected to the Word, JESUS CHRIST, the Truth and the Life.

Have a blessed new week

Be compassionate and kind to one another.

Prayer Point

Dear Father, we pray for everyone sincerely connected to your Word, that they may experience perfection in your word and that men may see their good works in Christ Jesus and glorify your holy name, in Jesus mighty name. Amen.

Blood of Jesus! Blood of Jesus!

Thank you Jesus for another day of perfection.

Yours in the Vineyard of Christ.

Word for Today: What, if I don’t know how to pray?

Word for Today: What, if I don’t know how to pray?

Ministry Of the Word (MOW): True Spirituality (TS)

Memory Verse

“Pray without ceasing” ( 1Thessalonians 5:17).

Dearly Beloved

Blessed and joyful Sunday to the great people of God all over the world.

Apostle Paul admonished us to pray without ceasing (1Thessalonians 5:17).

Later, in the same chapter, he said, “Brethren, pray for us” ( 1Thessalonians 5:25).

JESUS Himself said:

Certain problems will not go away except through prayer & fasting ( Matthew 17:21).

Again, Jesus spoke through a parable that we should “always to pray, and not to faint” ( Luke 18:1).

What of if I don’t know how to pray? What do I do? If you are a Christian, struggling with prayer, you can start off by spiritually joining the 24 elders and the 4 divine creatures in heaven surrounding the throne of grace, to worship and appreciate JESUS at all times. The bible says, Day and night, they rest NOT. Join them to worship God in Christ with such powerful phrases as:

“Thou are worthy ” ( Revelations 4:11)

“Holy holy, holy, LORD God Almighty (Revelations 4:8)

“Blessed be your Holy name “( Psalm 113:2)

Never forget :

“Blood of Jesus ” (Revelations 12:11)

“Jesus is Lord”

“Thank you JESUS ”

Use the phrases repeatedly. If you can worship and appreciate God in Christ with these phrases for just 24 hours ( one day), JESUS Himself will teach you how to pray with the help of the Holy Spirit. Everyone can pray.

Many Christians do not have good understanding of the power and significance of prayer and fasting. Some Christians can even spend long hours ‘praying’ without a single word of God to back it up. Some simply recite what the word of God says, without applying the word of God to themselves. Some Christians only fast when their organisations call for corporate fasting, thereby denying themselves of regular source of power.

Prayer is communicating with God using the word of God. Not merely repeating what God has said in his word , but STANDING ON THE AUTHORITY of what God has promised or said, to declare what you want.

We pray that the spirit of ignorance in everyone reading this message be rooted up in Jesus name. Amen ( Mathew 15:13).

Beloved, every one can pray. Make the first move and the Holy Spirit of God will take over. If you are willing and obedient…Isaiah 1:19

“The grace of our Lord Jesus Christ be with you. Amen” ( 1 Thessalonians 5:28).

Have a Spirit-filled Sunday

Be sensitive to the Holy Spirit.

Prayer Point

Dear Father, we thank you for your words that have kept us alive. Please, give all your children the grace of prayer and fasting in Jesus name. Amen

Blood of Jesus. Blood of Jesus.

Thank you Jesus for a new day of completion.
