Dearly Beloved

When you consider all things God created, you would understand that man was wonderfully created in the image and likeness of God (Genesis 1:27). Having created man, God saw that everything He has made was ‘very good ‘ ( Genesis 1:31). Unfortunately, sin (evil) came into the world and separated man from God. We thank God for Jesus Christ who conquered sin and restored man to God.

I love the Psalmist appraisal of man:

“When I consider thy heavens, the work of thy fingers, the moon and the stars, which thou hast ordained;

What is man, that thou art mindful of him? and the son of man, that thou visitest him?

For thou hast made him a little lower than the angels, and hast crowned him with glory and honour.

Thou madest him to have dominion over the works of thy hands; thou hast put all things under his feet:

All sheep and oxen, yea, and the beasts of the field; The fowl of the air, and the fish of the sea, and whatsoever passeth through the paths of the seas. O LORD our Lord, how excellent is thy name in all the earth!” (Psalm 8:3-9).

Without Jesus Christ, man would have remained separated from God. Jesus removed that separation through His redemption work at the cross. If you see Jesus, you see God. If you know Jesus, you know God. When the disciples asked Jesus to show them the Father. His reply:

“Jesus saith unto him, Have I been so long time with you, and yet hast thou not known me, Philip? he that hath seen me hath seen the Father; and how sayest thou then, Shew us the Father? Believest thou not that I am in the Father, and the Father in me? the words that I speak unto you I speak not of myself: but the Father that dwelleth in me, he doeth the works” ( John 14:9-10).

If you really know Jesus Christ, then you know God. God is a Spirit ( John 4:24), that lives in us. You are not ordinary. In Christ Jesus, you have been wonderfully recreated in the image and likeness of God.

Stay connected to JESUS, the Word of God.

Be knowledgeable. Be wise. Be enlightened.

The word of God is FIRE ( Jeremiah 23:29).

Keep your thoughts & mind positive.

Be sensitive to the Holy Spirit.

Be compassionate, merciful and kind to one another.

Prayer Point

Father, please give me the grace to know more of Jesus. Help me to truly fall in love with Jesus in Jesus precious name . Amen.

Improving our Spiritual Understanding

Memory Verse:

“And from the days of John the Baptist until now the kingdom of heaven suffereth violence, and the violent take it by force” ( Matthew 11:12).

Dearly Beloved

One of the biggest problems we have in the church today is the lack of the fire component of the Holy Spirit baptism. The cold and lukewarm nature of the church today has enabled evil to thrive within the body of Christ. It has enabled demons, witches, wizards and agents of darkness to feel comfortable and to ‘enjoy’ fellowship with true children of God.

John the Baptist, who heralded Jesus, declared: “I indeed baptize you with water unto repentance: but he that cometh after me is mightier than I, whose shoes I am not worthy to bear: he shall baptize you with the Holy Ghost, and with fire” (Math 3:11).

Have you received the Holy Spirit? Then, war a good warfare with your mouth. Apostle Paul charged his spiritual son:

“This charge I commit unto thee, son Timothy, according to the prophecies which went before on thee, that thou by them mightest war a good warfare” (1Timothy 1:18).

Though God knows our heart desire but God expects us to be specific, persistent, aggressive and spiritually violent when dealing with life issues.

Once you have received the Holy Spirit, your words become creative. The words from your mouth are very important. You speak what you want into being in Christ Jesus. The Holy Spirit of God inside of you “calleth those things which be not as though they were” ( Romans 4:17). Henceforth, say no to passive Christianity. Engage your mouth well. Use your mouth powerfully and fruitfully daily.

The book of revelations tells us that Jesus Himself released sharp sword with his mouth to plant and to uproot:

“And out of his mouth goeth a sharp sword, that with it he should smite the nations: and he shall rule them with a rod of iron: and he treadeth the winepress of the fierceness and wrath of Almighty God” ( Revelations 19:15).

Please, pray for the fire component of the Holy Spirit baptism with humility. Jesus Christ is the only one that can baptise you with the Holy Spirit.

Please, be spiritually aggressive and violent daily. Jesus has given us a “mouth and wisdom” ( Luke 21:15), make good use of it.

To grow spiritually requires daily meditation with the word of God (Joshua 1:8) and seeking first the kingdom of God and its righteousness (Matthew 6:33). However, the first thing you must desire greatly is total spiritual freedom through the truth in the word of God ( John 8:32).

Stay connected to JESUS, also called the Word . Be enlightened.

Be sensitive to the Holy Spirit.

Be compassionate and kind to one another.

“And now, brethren, I commend you to God, and to the word of his grace, which is able to build you up, and to give you an inheritance among all them which are sanctified” ( Acts 20:32).

Dearly Beloved

I recommend the word of God to you without reservation. The word of God is full of grace. Everything you needed in life is all hidden in God and in his word. Study the bible daily. The word of God will build you up. Meditate on the word of God and do all you can to follow the lifestyle of God in Christ Jesus. Many people ignore the word of God but then turn around to wonder why things are not working out well for them and their children.

“Study to shew thyself approved unto God, a workman that needeth not to be ashamed, rightly dividing the word of truth”

(2Timothy 2:15).

Beloved, if the soul be without knowledge, it is not good ( Proverbs 19:2). When I tell some people that I bought my first Quran in 1995 in the UK, while training as a psychiatrist, they find it difficult to believe. Years ago, one sister in the church

actually asked me: Are you sure you are a Christian? She just couldn’t understand why I should read the Quran. The truth is that, it’s not only the Quran I have read. I have also read books on Judaism, Hinduism, Buddhism, Sikhism, Taoism etc . Reading these books should strengthen your faith. How can you fully appreciate the glory of light, if you have never experienced darkness? How can you be sure of the ‘original’ if you know nothing about what is ‘fake’? Ignorance is one of the worst diseases in the world today, especially amongst Christians ( Hosea 4:6).

How intimate are you with Jesus Christ? How much do you know him? Are you hungry and thirsty for Jesus?

Despite his intimacy with Jesus, apostle Paul was still eager to know Jesus the more. He wrote:

“That I may know him, and the power of his resurrection, and the fellowship of his sufferings, being made conformable unto his death” ( Philippians 3:10).

I commend you to God in Christ Jesus. I recommend the word of his grace to you. I commend you to the Holy Bible and other spiritual books.

Be knowledgeable. Be wise. Be enlightened. Stay connected to JESUS, the Word of God.

Dearly Beloved

Beware of anti-Christ spirit flying around. This is how to identify anti-Christ spirit:

“Hereby know ye the Spirit of God: Every spirit that confesseth that Jesus Christ is come in the flesh is of God: And every spirit that confesseth not that Jesus Christ is come in the flesh is not of God: and this is that spirit of antichrist, whereof ye have heard that it should come; and even now already is it in the world” ( 1John 4:2-3).

There is only one way to salvation, freedom, victory, prosperity, divine destiny-JESUS. Do not be deceived by contradictory philosophies and theologies appearing attractive. We need Jesus Christ to have a direct encounter with the true God.

Ask God to grant you knowledge and understanding as you read the bible and other spiritual books. Do not destroy yourself. Only Jesus Christ, the Son of God can set you free indeed:

“If the Son therefore shall make you free, ye shall be free indeed” ( John 8:36).

If you remove Jesus Christ from your life, crisis is the outcome.

“My people are destroyed for lack of knowledge: because thou hast rejected knowledge, I will also reject thee, that thou shalt be no priest to me: seeing thou hast forgotten the law of thy God, I will also forget thy children” (Hosea 4:6).

Be knowledgeable. Stay connected. Be enlightened.
