Word for Today: Do not just work for money.

Word for Today :

Do not just work for money.

Ministry of the Word(MOW) : True Spirituality (TS).

Memory Verse

“And whatsoever ye do, do it heartily, as to the Lord, and not unto men; Knowing that of the Lord ye shall receive the reward of the inheritance: for ye serve the Lord Christ” (Col 3:23-24).

Dearly Beloved

Whatsoever you do, do it heartily as to the Lord. Do not just work for the sake of the money you are paid.

Whenever, you have an opportunity to do any work, whether paid or voluntary job, please do it heartily as to the Lord. Believe me, whatever salary or wage you get from your employer is nothing, compared to the spiritual reward that only the Lord gives.

Many people are not committed to the the work given to them whenever they have an opportunity to contribute something to life. Be a builder! Do not be in the companion of destroyers. Never forget, while on earth everyone is a co-labourer with God (1Corinthians 3:9).

Be kind, compassionate, sincere, faithful, honest, transparent, diligent and passionate about whatever ever task you are opportune to undertake for the sake of God in Christ.

“Whatsoever thy hand findeth to do, do it with thy might; for there is no work, nor device, nor knowledge, nor wisdom, in the grave, whither thou goest” ( Ecclesiastes 9:10).

Have a Spirit- filled new day.

Be sensitive to the Holy Spirit.

Thank you Jesus for waking us up this morning.

Prayer Point

Father, please give us the grace to do every work with sincerity and passion expected of us in Jesus mighty name. Amen.

Yours in the Vineyard of Christ.

Word for Today: There is fire in the word of God.

Word for Today :

There is fire in the word of God.

Ministry of the Word (MOW): True Spirituality (TS)

Memory Verse

“Is not my word like as a fire? saith the LORD; and like a hammer that breaketh the rock in pieces? ” (Jeremiah 23:29).

Dearly Beloved

There is fire in the word of God. There can be no true light without fire. Darkness is terrible. In darkness, your best friend can harm you significantly, without you knowing. Many people are afraid of light because it exposes evil deeds. Jesus is the fire and the light of this world.

If you fully have Jesus, then you should be on fire for the Lord. The fire in you should generate light for others to see. Remember that not everyone are ready to follow light, because light exposes:

“And this is the condemnation, that light is come into the world, and men loved darkness rather than light, because their deeds were evil” ( John 3:19).

Have a Spirit- filled new week.

Be sensitive to the Holy Spirit,

Thank you Jesus for the gift of life.

Prayer Point

Dear Father, please help us to experience the fire in your word and to be a true source of light in a dark world in Jesus mighty name. Amen.

Yours in the Vineyard of Christ.

Word for Today: If the word of God has not been my delight…

Word for Today:

If the word of God has not been my delight…

Ministry of the Word (MOW):True Spirituality (TS)

Memory Verse

“Unless thy law had been my delights, I should then have perished in mine affliction” ( Psalm 119:92)

Dearly Beloved

Let’s promote the word of God on earth. There nothing the word of God cannot accomplish. Many people have perished because they lack the knowledge of the word of God.

There is truly no difference between God and His word ( John 1:1). Like the Psalmist, let us delight in the word of God. When we delight in the word of God, we would know what to do when challenges come.

“O give thanks unto the LORD; for he is good: for his mercy endureth for ever” (Psalm 136:1).

Let’s give thanks to God in Christ Jesus for the grace, mercy and life in His word.

Happy Sunday people of God.

Have a Spirit-filled new week.

Thank you Jesus for life.

Prayer

Father, we thank you for your words that have kept us alive. Please, accept our thanks in Jesus name. Amen

Yours in the Vineyard of Christ.

Word for Today: Spiritual meditation (1)

Word for Today:

Spiritual Meditation (1)

Ministry of the Word (MOW): True Spirituality(TS)

Memory Verse:

“This book of the law shall not depart out of thy mouth; but thou shalt meditate therein day and night, that thou mayest observe to do according to all that is written therein: for then thou shalt make thy way prosperous, and then thou shalt have good success” (Joshua 1:8).

Dearly Beloved

Meditation is well recognised in the field of health with regard to its contribution to peace, tranquility, relaxation, recovery, and mental stability.

Meditation entails keeping your mind focused on the subject or object of your choice, long enough to bring about calmness and relaxation. Meditation helps to reduce the daily worries of life. There are variety of meditation ranging from spiritual to secular, which is not the subject of this writing. Spiritual meditation can solve virtually every problem.

In our memory verse, God admonished Joshua who succeeded Moses on the key to success and prosperity. Joshua was advised to hold unto the word of God as his number one priority, ‘meditate therein day and night’.

As true believers, there are many verses in the bible that deal with all our life issues. Meditating on the word of God is taking a particular verse relevant to your situation and focusing, ‘chewing’, ‘eating’ , ‘digesting’ and ‘absorbing’ the verse until the verse is in your blood, heart and spirit. About 10-20 minutes should be enough for this at a time or shorter. When the word of God is your heart and spirit, speaking the word is easy; obedience to the Word becomes easier. It’s unfortunate that many Christians have not learnt to meditate on the word of God daily.

For example, it’s never God’s plan for any of His children to be ill. If you are in need of healing for a particular ailment or condition, try meditating on these two scriptures:

“Who his own self bare our sins in his own body on the tree, that we, being dead to sins, should live unto righteousness: by whose stripes ye were healed” ( 1Peter 2:24).

“And said, If thou wilt diligently hearken to the voice of the LORD thy God, and wilt do that which is right in his sight, and wilt give ear to his commandments, and keep all his statutes, I will put none of these diseases upon thee, which I have brought upon the Egyptians: for I am the LORD that healeth thee” (Exodus 15:26).

Apply the scriptures to yourself personally. For example, by repeatedly saying by the stripes of Jesus , I am healed, and focusing your mind on the area you need healing. Please, don’t forget to keep praising God in Christ and offering thanksgiving as you meditate on the scriptures .

Grace and peace be multiplied to you in Jesus name. Amen

Have a blessed weekend.

Be sensitive to the Holy Spirit .

Thank you Jesus for the grace in the word .

Prayer Point

Father, please give us the grace to meditate on your word day and night in Jesus precious name. Amen

Father, please give me the grace to be sensitive to your Holy Spirit in Jesus mighty name. Amen.

Yours in the Vineyard of Christ.
