Word for Today: Judge for yourself…

Word for Today: Judge for yourself…

Ministry of the Word (MOW): True Spirituality

Memory Verse:

“And the multitude of them that believed were of one heart and of one soul: neither said any of them that ought of the things which he possessed was his own; but they had all things common” (Acts 4:32).

Dearly Beloved

You judge for yourself if what is taking place in the church today is what was practiced in the earlier church. Judge for yourself, if there is unity in the church. Judge for yourself if there is love in the church. Judge for yourself if there is oneness in the church.

Each time I read Acts 4:32-35, below, I ask myself many questions. Why did the church allow the negative changes to go this far? How did these changes start? What can we do to make the church of God what it used to be. What can be done to make the church a perfect body without blemish? I wish there are people with the right answers, within the church and outside the church. I have posted the full verses here:

“And the multitude of them that believed were of one heart and of one soul: neither said any of them that ought of the things which he possessed was his own; but they had all things common.

And with great power gave the apostles witness of the resurrection of the Lord Jesus: and great grace was upon them all.

Neither was there any among them that lacked: for as many as were possessors of lands or houses sold them, and brought the prices of the things that were sold,

And laid them down at the apostles’ feet: and distribution was made unto every man according as he had need (Acts 4-32-35).

Only God in Christ Jesus can rebuild the church.

Grace and peace be multiplied to you in Jesus name. Amen

Be sensitive to the Holy Spirit in you.

Thank you Jesus

Prayer

Father, please give us the grace to be united and to live in love with one another in Jesus mighty name. Amen

Yours in the Vineyard of Christ.

Word for Today: If God be for us…

Word for Today: If God be for us…

Ministry of the Word (MOW): True Spirituality

Memory Verse:

“What shall we then say to these things? If God be for us, who can be against us…For I am persuaded…” ( Romans 8:31-39).

Beloved

If you are in good standing with Jesus Christ, there is no cause to fear.

Be very careful of what you say. Your words are signals to angelic world. Positive, edifying words are picked up by angels of light for the impartation of others, while negative words are also conveyed by the agents of darkness for destruction.

“Let no corrupt communication proceed out of your mouth, but that which is good to the use of edifying, that it may minister grace unto the hearers” ( Ephesians 4:29)

Be careful to speak only edifying words.

Grace and peace be multiplied to you in Jesus name. Amen

Be sensitive to the Holy Spirit in you.

Thank you Jesus

Prayer

Father, please give us the grace to always be mindful of our speech in Jesus name. Amen

Yours in the Vineyard of Christ.

Word for Today: Anointing (6)-Anointing above your peers.

Word for Today: Anointing (6)-Anointing above your peers.

Ministry of the Word (MOW): True Spirituality

Memory Verse

“Thou hast loved righteousness, and hated iniquity; therefore God, even thy God, hath anointed thee with the oil of gladness above thy fellows” ( Hebrews 1:9).

Dearly Beloved

God is eager to take you away from the crowd, clean you up and anoint you above your peers. However, there is a price you must pay: love righteousness and hate iniquities.

Love for righteousness may not be too difficult to understand or appreciate, but hatred for iniquities is poorly understood by many with the church. Many people will observe things  that are contrary to the word of word and they ignore it with the attitude of “it no concern me’. How do you react to things that are not in line with the the word of God? Do you laugh over them or speak the word of God against them?  Boldness is a fundamental requirement in our walk with the Lord. Don’t watch evil activities around you and do nothing. Learn to deal with your fears. God has not given us the spirit of fear…2Timothy 1:7. Spiritual violence is expected of you in the kingdom.

“And from the days of John the Baptist until now the kingdom of heaven suffereth violence, and the violent take it by force” (Mathew 11:12)

Ask God to open your eyes, that you may learn to love righteousness and hate iniquities.

Have a Spirit-filled new day.

Thank you Jesus .

To grow spiritually requires daily meditation with the word of God (Joshua 1:8) and seeking first the kingdom of God and its righteousness  (Matthew 6:33). It also requires total fear of God, and  spiritual training in the word of God: “Train yourself to be godly”(1Tim 4:7-8 NIV).

Prayer

Dear Father, we receive the grace to love righteousness and hate iniquities in Jesus mighty name. Amen

Yours in the Vineyard of Christ.
