Dearly Beloved

Happy Independence Day Nigeria!

We salute Nigeria and all Nigerians.

Welcome to the month of double grace.

Without the grace of God no person is anything.

The grace of God has come to man in the person of our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ. With the grace of God, we can do all things. Without the grace of God, we can do nothing.

Grace simply makes divine unmerited favour. Every one needs the grace of God. Everyone depends on the grace and mercy of God for survival, even if he or she does not have the awareness or does not believe in God. The word of God says:

“For the law was given by Moses, but grace and truth came by Jesus Christ” ( John 1:17)

Indeed, Jesus came with the fullness of grace and truth ( John 1:14).

“For the grace of God that bringeth salvation hath appeared to all men, Teaching us that, denying ungodliness and worldly lusts, we should live soberly, righteously, and godly, in this present world” (Titus 2:11-12)

Grace be with all them that love our Lord Jesus Christ in sincerity. Amen (Ephesians 6:24).

This month your grace shall be multiplied in Jesus name. Amen.

Have a Spirit-filled Sunday

To grow spiritually requires daily meditation with the word of God (Joshua 1:8) and seeking first the kingdom of God and its righteousness (Matthew 6:33). It also requires total fear of God, and spiritual training in the word of God: “Train yourself to be godly”(1Tim 4:7-8 NIV).

Dear Father, we bless your holy name for the grace of Grace of God that came to our lives in the person of Jesus Christ. Amen.

Beloved

We bless God in Christ Jesus for the last day in the month of September 2017. September is the month of total recovery indeed.

The word of God is the sword of the Spirit. Christians need to have increasing consciousness that Christianity is a spiritual warfare. How can you go to war without arming the align- the Holy Spirit.

Without holding your written Bible, how often do you say ‘it is written ‘ . Thrice, Jesus was tempted, thrice He defeated the devil with ‘it is written ‘ ( Matthew 4:1-11)

If you have received Jesus Christ, then you are a son. You have to arise and function as a son.

As many as received Jesus Christ are GIVEN POWER to become sons of the kingdom of God ( John 1:12).

A Christian who is unable to say ‘It is written ‘ regularly when challenged is spiritually empty and armless.

Beloved

No matter how terrible you past was, begin to praise God in Christ for your present and your future. You future shall be glorious.

God has promised to ensure that none of your past shall ever be remembered, if only you agree to RETURN to Him. As you reconnect to God through His word, the word of God cleanses you up.

The word of God sanctifies. The more of the word of God you sincerely have in your heart and in your spirit, the more sanctified you are. To be sanctified simply means to be thoroughly washed, cleaned up, be purified, be refined, be consecrated , set apart and declared holy. Only the truth in the word of God can truly sanctify a man.

There are many born again Christians, but they are still carnal. Let’s totally return to God today. May the truth in the word of God wash away your sins, sanctify you and fill you up.

“Sanctify them through thy truth: thy word is truth”( John 17:17)

“Behold, the LORD’s hand is not shortened, that it cannot save; neither his ear heavy, that it cannot hear: But your iniquities have separated between you and your God, and your sins have hid his face from you, that he will not hear” ( Isaiah 59:1-2).

Beloved

Sin has the capacity to stop someone from making progress in life. It’s sin that separates us from God. It’s sin that makes it difficult for God to answer certain prayers. If we can deal with sin in our lives, many things will fall into place.

Sin is going contrary to the righteousness in the word of God.

If Jesus Christ has made you free, you are free indeed ( John 8:36). The grace of God to a fallen humanity is no other person than our Lord and Saviour, Jesus Christ.

No matter how terrible your past has been, if you surrender your life to Jesus, he will draw you up ,clean you, sanctify you, and pour out His Spirit into you. One of biggest challenges with many Christians is going back to sin after they have been forgiven and healed. Remember what Jesus told the man he had healed when Jesus found him at the temple:

“Afterward Jesus findeth him in the temple, and said unto him, Behold, thou art made whole: sin no more, lest a worse thing come unto thee” ( John 5:14).

The word of God in the heart of a man has the power to keep sin away.

Have a Spirit -filled day.
