Word for Today: Let’s give thanks to God always.

Memory Verse 

“O give thanks unto the LORD; for he is good: for his mercy endureth for ever” (Psalm 136:1).

Beloved 

This very week, the good LORD is ushering us into a new month. It’s time to give thanks to God in Christ Jesus.
“O give thanks unto the LORD; for he is good: for his mercy endureth for ever.

O give thanks unto the God of gods: for his mercy endureth for ever. O give thanks to the Lord of lords: for his mercy endureth for ever. To him who alone doeth great wonders: for his mercy endureth for ever. To him that by wisdom made the heavens: for his mercy endureth for ever…” (1-26).

Let’s give thanks to God in Christ Jesus.

Father, we thank you for your words that have kept us alive. Please, accept our thanks in Jesus name. Amen

Memory Verse 

“I will praise thee; for I am fearfully and wonderfully made: marvellous are thy works; and that my soul knoweth right well” (Psalm 139:14).
Beloved 

Our life in Christ Jesus is not meant to be ordinarily. We have been recreated in Christ Jesus for the works of the kingdom of God. We have been recreated to demonstrate power, dominion, integrity, compassion, love, signs and wonders. We have been recreated for uniqueness. In Christ, we are extraordinary beings.

“So shall the congregation of the people compass thee about: for their sakes therefore return thou on high” ( Psalm 7:7).
Stay connected to God through His word and endeavour to grow your faith. God wants to do His marvellous works through you.

“Behold ye among the heathen, and regard, and wonder marvellously: for I will work a work in your days, which ye will not believe, though it be told you” ( Habakkuk 1:5).

Thank you Jesus. Jesus is Lord.

Word for Today: There is None like Jesus Christ.

Memory Verse 

“Who is like unto thee, O LORD, among the gods? who is like thee, glorious in holiness, fearful in praises, doing wonders?” (Exodus 15:11).
Beloved 

True relationship with Jesus Christ is everything we need in life. Without Jesus, there is a vacuum .

There is none like Jesus Christ in heaven and on earth. There is none like Jesus Christ in love, integrity, compassion, purity, righteousness and holiness.
“There is none holy as the LORD: for there is none beside thee: neither is there any rock like our God” (1Samuel 2:2).
Brethren, let us take some time out to praise God in Christ today. He alone is worthy.
“Thou art worthy, O Lord, to receive glory and honour and power: for thou hast created all things, and for thy pleasure they are and were created” (Revelations 4:11).

Father, if we have a million tongues, it is not enough to praise God in Christ Jesus. We praise thee O Lord for making us unique in Jesus name. Amen

Word for Today:  Your thoughts are spiritual 

Ministry Of the Word (MOW): True Spirituality 

Improving our Spiritual Understanding

Memory Verse 

“For as he thinketh in his heart, so is he: Eat and drink, saith he to thee; but his heart is not with thee” (Proverbs 23:7).
Beloved 

Just as your words are spiritual, your thoughts are spiritual. Henceforth, learn to pay attention to your thoughts and imaginations. Remember that negative emotions (eg fear, anxiety, anger, envy & hatred ) can influence your thoughts easily.
Your thoughts can be healthy ( positive), or unhealthy (negative). The words you speak out is out of the abundance of your thoughts. Thus , you can influence yourself, others and your environment by the words you speak daily.
The word of God is the Word of life (1John 1:1). Learn to think life and speak life.
“Death and life are in the power of the tongue: and they that love it shall eat the fruit thereof” ( Proverbs 18:21).

Remember the words of Jesus Christ Himself :
It is the spirit that quickeneth; the flesh profiteth nothing: the words that I speak unto you, they are spirit, and they are life” ( John 6:63).

Everything you need in life is in the word of God.
 Let’s learn to keep our thoughts and mind positive daily.
“Finally, brethren, whatsoever things are true, whatsoever things are honest, whatsoever things are just, whatsoever things are pure, whatsoever things are lovely, whatsoever things are of good report; if there be any virtue, and if there be any praise, think on these things” ( Philippians 4:8).

To grow spiritually requires daily meditation with the word of God (Joshua 1:8) and seeking first the kingdom of God and its righteousness (Matthew 6:33). It also requires total fear of God, and spiritual training in the word of God: “Train yourself to be godly”(1Tim 4:7-8 NIV).

Prayer

Dear Father, according to your wish, desire and purpose for us, please help us to keep our thoughts healthy in Jesus mighty name. Amen.
