Wherefore God also hath highly exalted him, and given him a name which is above every name” (Philippians 2:5-9).

Beloved

Please, meditate on the above scriptures increasingly. We understand from the bible that Jesus Christ was exalted by His Father on account of His humility.
The bible says though He was God(the Son), and has been given all powers, He never claimed equality with His Father. Lack of humility has deprived many believers of their blessings. In my few years of walking with the Lord, I have seen lack of humility and arrogance even among big title holders in the church. I mean, people considering themselves more highly than they should do. There is nothing we have, that we did not receive from above. Without God, we are nothing.
Let us learn humility as we go about our daily duties. Let us be humble within our families, communities , ministries, work places etc. The more we humble ourselves, the more we are exalted by God Himself. Let us learn from Jesus Christ, who washed the feet of His disciples.

“For who hath known the mind of the Lord, that he may instruct him? But we have the mind of Christ” (1Corinthians 2:16)

To grow spiritually requires daily meditation with the word of God (Joshua 1:8) and seeking first the kingdom of God and its righteousness (Matthew 6:33). It also requires total fear of God, and spiritual training in the word of God: “Train yourself to be godly”(1Tim 4:7-8 NIV).

Prayer

Dear Father, please help us to have the mind of Christ in Jesus mighty name. Amen.

Beloved

Many Christians are so used to praising God loudly that they do not understand the concept of being quiet before God. No doubt, God loves our loud praise and noise. Psalm 100:1 says: “Make a joyful noise unto the LORD, all ye lands”.
However, if you want to see God in action, you have to learn to be STILL, SILENT, and QUIET, before the Lord from time to time.
How often are you STILL before the LORD?
God has already started to do something through us that will MARVEL many people. I am not just saying this out of emotions and excitement , but rather, I stand on the authority of the word of God: “Behold ye among the heathen, and regard, and wonder marvelously: for I will work a work in your days, which ye will not believe, though it be told you (Habakkuk 1:5). If you are truly born again, then spiritually, you have been recreated by God in Christ Jesus, therefore you are for Signs and Wonders (Isaiah 8:18).

Many young Christians often spend their time, listening to unedifying words, ignoring the the word of God. The word of God enables us to know that what we focus our mind on is vital to our health and overall wellbeing, hence apostle Paul admonished all true believers: “Finally, brethren, whatsoever things are true, whatsoever things are honest, whatsoever things are just, whatsoever things are pure, whatsoever things are lovely, whatsoever things are of good report; if there be any virtue, and if there be any praise, think on these things (Philippians 4:8).

Prayer

Dear Father, please give us the grace to be quiet before you in Jesus mighty name. Amen.

Glory be to God in the highest and on earth peace, good will toward to men (Luke 2:14).

Beloved, arise, let’s promote Jesus together in agreement and oneness. Whatever Jesus cannot do for you , you better forget it. He is the true solution to all human problems. What are you doing for Jesus who loves you so much?

Jesus has swallow up death in victory; and the Lord GOD has wiped away tears from off all faces; and the rebuke of his people shall he take away from off all the earth: for the LORD hath spoken it ( Isaiah 25:8).

Today, Jesus is alive to die no more:
“I am he that liveth, and was dead; and, behold, I am alive for evermore, Amen; and have the keys of hell and of death” (Revelations 1:18).

We bless God in Jesus Christ for the power of the season .

Beloved
Glory, Glory be to God in the highest! Jesus is alive for ever. We thank God for Jesus Christ. Joyful Easter my beloved.
Like apostle Paul in our memory verse, everyone should desire to know the power of his resurrection increasingly. It was really a supernatural power. Death could not hold him in the grave, against all laws and expectations. The power was so mighty that it caused a great earth quake and the veil of the temple was torn (Matt 27:51)

It was difficult to believe. It was difficult to imagine with the human brain/mind. One of his disciples (brother Thomas) felt it was a joke. He was completely faithless. Hear his response: “The other disciples therefore said unto him, We have seen the Lord. But he said unto them, Except I shall see in his hands the print of the nails, and put my finger into the print of the nails, and thrust my hand into his side, I will not believe” (John 20:25).Though he later believed on seeing the nail marks, but Jesus told him: “Thomas, because thou hast seen me, thou hast believed: blessed are they that have not seen, and yet have believed” “John 20:29).

Today, Jesus is alive to die no more. He says: “I am he that liveth, and was dead; and, behold, I am alive for evermore, Amen; and have the keys of hell and of death” (Revelations 1:18).

There are many believers in the body of Christ today who fellowship quite regularly, but there is no depth or substance in their faith. Having Jesus as our Lord and Saviour require faith that is active. We thank God for the power that resurrected Jesus. The power has been made available to every true believe. The gospel is about the kingdom of God, and is about power: “For the kingdom of God is not in word, but in power(1Cor 4:20)”.
The glorious resurrected Jesus Christ living in our hearts is the basis for this power. He is the embodiment of this power and he has handed it to all true believers. He says: “All power is given unto me in heaven and in earth” (Matt 28:18). The more we understand and make use of this power the more we understand what brother Paul meant when he said: “I can do all things through Christ which strengtheneth me” (Phil 4:13).We are the branches. He is the vine. Without him, we can do nothing (John 15:5). His name is the Word of God (Revelations 19:13)

Once we have received the Holy Spirit, that power is in our thoughts and in our words. Let us make use of it daily. Through spiritual training, His grace enables us to align our thoughts with the thoughts of God. Never use your words to contradict the written word of God. Any thoughts that you have that contradicts the word of God, take it captive to the obedience of Christ (2Cor 10:5). As you do this increasing, you will realize that all things work together for your good, irrespective of your circumstances (Rom 8:28).

Jesus Christ is alive forever:
“He is not here: for he is risen, as he said. Come, see the place where the Lord lay”(Matt 28:6).

We bless God in Jesus Christ for Easter.
