Word for Today

The Word (63)-Let the Word come first.

“But seek ye first the kingdom of God, and his righteousness; and all these things shall be added unto you” (Matthew 6:33).

Beloved

Seek ye first the kingdom of God here on earth and watch God moves in your life. Many are complaining and murmuring instead of applying the principle of simple obedience . In Christ Jesus, God knows your innermost heart. He knows your thoughts afar off.

Many people in the body of Christ(the church) are not sincere . Many are calling Lord, Lord, but their hearts are far from Him. God desire is to bless you, but you must return to him first with ALL your heart, soul and spirit. Be passionate for the Word. Share the word of God with others , no matter the inconvenience . Share the Word in season and out of season.

“Blessed are they which do hunger and thirst after righteousness: for they shall be filled” (Matthew 5:6)

PRAYER

Father, please give me the grace to humble myself and seek the Word first in my life in Jesus Mighty Name. Amen.

The Word (62)-the FIRE of the Holy Ghost is real.

” I indeed baptize you with water unto repentance: but he that cometh after me is mightier than I, whose shoes I am not worthy to bear: he shall baptize you with the Holy Ghost, and with fire” (Matthew 3:11).

Beloved 

There is FIRE in the word of God. The fire of the Holy Spirit is better experienced. No minister of the gospel may be able to sufficiently explain it to you or teach you what it is. The best way to know it is to experience it. In our memory verse, John the Baptist , with humility, was assuring the people during his time that only Jesus Christ can baptise a person with the Holy Ghost and with FIRE.
If you are a Christian , and you have not yet experienced the FIRE of the Holy Ghost, please wake up. It comes as a burning heat sensation in your spirit, soul and flesh. The more you sincerely meditate on the word of God, the more you experience this fire. The fire of the Holy Ghost is in the word of God (Jeremiah 23:29).
Recently, a I was watching a video clip from a colleague and friend, warning Christians that in the next 30 years or so, another FAITH will be predominant in the world. As Christians, we should never ignore this warning. The signs are there . If truly you are a Christian , this is the time to wake up and spread the gospel of our Lord Jesus so as to influence the world. Please , do NOT be afraid or ashamed to share the word of God with others on a daily basis. We bless God for the Internet . Sharing the Word is your primary duty. Let’s us wake up and fill the earth with the knowledge of the glory of God and fulfill prophesy:

“For the earth shall be filled with the knowledge of the glory of the LORD, as the waters cover the sea” (Habakkuk 2:14).

“Is not my word like as a fire? saith the LORD; and like a hammer that breath the rock in pieces? (Jeremiah 23:29).

PRAYER

Father, please give me the grace to humble myself and experience the FIRE of the Living God in Jesus Mighty Name. Amen.

Word for Today

The Word (61)-the Word of God is a fighter.

“Thou therefore endure hardness, as a good soldier of Jesus Christ. No man that warreth entangleth himself with the affairs of this life; that he may please him who hath chosen him to be a soldier” (2Tim 2:3-4)

Beloved 

To be a winner, you have to be a fighter. Our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ is a fighter. He was a fighter while on earth to show us example. He never lost any battle while on earth.
Many Christians give up very easily when challenged. Many in the body of Christ lack understanding of the concept of persistence and perseverance. If you have the Word of God as your ally, and you are in good standing with him, you can never lose a battle unless you STOP fighting. However, never forget to put on the full armour of God (Ephesians 6:11).
Refuse to be distracted in your walk with the Word. Live out your faith in Christ Jesus. You can do all things through Christ who strengthens you ( Phil 4:13). 
“Fight the good fight of faith, lay hold on eternal life, whereunto thou art also called, and hast professed a good profession before many witnesses” (1Timothy 6:12).

PRAYER

Father, please give me the grace to be a winner in the battles of life in Jesus Mighty Name. Amen.

Word for Today

The Word (60)- the Word of God is TRANSPARENT.

“And the twelve gates were twelve pearls: every several gate was of one pearl: and the street of the city was pure gold, as it were transparent glass” ( Revelation 21:21).

Beloved 

The Word of God is pure, sincere, honest, open and transparent. You have been a Christian for many years, but how honest and transparent are you? You would be ‘shocked’ to know some of the things the so called powerful men and women do in secret. Many people who ‘go to church’ on Sundays regularly would fail the transparency test.
Can people vouch for your words? Do you defend the Truth? How transparent are you? The book of revelation talk of a new heaven and a new earth ( Rev 21:1); a new Jerusalem with streets lined with gold and transparent glass. How prepared are you to dwell in this new city?
Many are born again but are still carnal. Ask God to clean you up and sanctify you by the truth in His word:
“Sanctify them through thy truth: thy word is truth” (John 17:17).

PRAYER

Father, please sanctify me and give me the grace of honesty and transparency in Jesus Mighty Name. Amen.
