Word for Today

The Word (61)-the Word of God is a fighter.

“Thou therefore endure hardness, as a good soldier of Jesus Christ. No man that warreth entangleth himself with the affairs of this life; that he may please him who hath chosen him to be a soldier” (2Tim 2:3-4)

Beloved 

To be a winner, you have to be a fighter. Our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ is a fighter. He was a fighter while on earth to show us example. He never lost any battle while on earth.
Many Christians give up very easily when challenged. Many in the body of Christ lack understanding of the concept of persistence and perseverance. If you have the Word of God as your ally, and you are in good standing with him, you can never lose a battle unless you STOP fighting. However, never forget to put on the full armour of God (Ephesians 6:11).
Refuse to be distracted in your walk with the Word. Live out your faith in Christ Jesus. You can do all things through Christ who strengthens you ( Phil 4:13). 
“Fight the good fight of faith, lay hold on eternal life, whereunto thou art also called, and hast professed a good profession before many witnesses” (1Timothy 6:12).

PRAYER

Father, please give me the grace to be a winner in the battles of life in Jesus Mighty Name. Amen.

Word for Today

The Word (60)- the Word of God is TRANSPARENT.

“And the twelve gates were twelve pearls: every several gate was of one pearl: and the street of the city was pure gold, as it were transparent glass” ( Revelation 21:21).

Beloved 

The Word of God is pure, sincere, honest, open and transparent. You have been a Christian for many years, but how honest and transparent are you? You would be ‘shocked’ to know some of the things the so called powerful men and women do in secret. Many people who ‘go to church’ on Sundays regularly would fail the transparency test.
Can people vouch for your words? Do you defend the Truth? How transparent are you? The book of revelation talk of a new heaven and a new earth ( Rev 21:1); a new Jerusalem with streets lined with gold and transparent glass. How prepared are you to dwell in this new city?
Many are born again but are still carnal. Ask God to clean you up and sanctify you by the truth in His word:
“Sanctify them through thy truth: thy word is truth” (John 17:17).

PRAYER

Father, please sanctify me and give me the grace of honesty and transparency in Jesus Mighty Name. Amen.

The Word (59)-Let your thoughts be healthy.

“Finally, brethren, whatsoever things are true, whatsoever things are honest, whatsoever things are just, whatsoever things are pure, whatsoever things are lovely, whatsoever things are of good report; if there be any virtue, and if there be any praise, think on these things” (Phil 4:8).

Beloved 

The Word is admonishing us to learn to focus our thoughts and mind always on purity and goodness. We are to maintain integrity even in our thoughts. At every point in time, unhealthy or negative thoughts will crop into your mind. It’s your responsibility to identify them and flush them out. It’s your responsibility to keep your thoughts healthy by ‘bringing into captivity every thought to the obedience of Christ’ (2Corinthians 10:5).
Beloved, you do not need to be afraid of evil ones. Ask God in Christ for the grace to stay away from evil:

“And who is he that will harm you, if ye be followers of that which is good?” (1Peter 3:13)

PRAYER

Father, please, give me the grace to focus my thoughts on goodness in Jesus Mighty Name. Amen.

The Word (58)-the Word and the World await your manifestation.

“For the earnest expectation of the creature waiteth for the manifestation of the sons of God” (Romans 8:19).

Beloved 

You might have been born small, but you were born to be great. Truly, everyone born of a woman come to this world naked & helpless. Without divine protection and empowerment, no one would survive, let alone become someone important.
Empowerment could come from different sources depending on the understanding of those around you. When your empowerment is from the King of kings and Lord of lords, then there is no limit to your greatness. Yes, He is the Way, the Truth, and the Life ( John 14:6). He is the only one who can open a way for you where there is no way. He is the Almighty!
Cleave to Him sincerely from today and be manifested as a son of God:
“But we all, with open face beholding as in a glass the glory of the Lord, are changed into the same image from glory to glory, even as by the Spirit of the LORD”

(2 Corinthians 3:18).

PRAYER

Father, I have waited long enough, please, manifest me NOW as your son in Jesus Mighty Name. Amen.
