Word for Today

The Word (46)-the Word is Gracious & Appreciative.

“Grace be unto you, and peace, from God our Father, and from the Lord Jesus Christ. I thank my God upon every remembrance of you, Always in every prayer of mine for you all making request with joy” (Phil 1:2-4)

Beloved

The scriptures enjoin us to give thanks to God in all circumstances.

There are many events going on in the world today that may distract you and may not encourage you to be appreciative of the Word daily. However, it’s your responsibility to keep thoughts focused on the Word through the word of God.
Whenever you wake up in the morning, even if you forget to pray, never forget to say: Thank you Jesus! Thank you Jesus! Thank you Jesus! We owe Him everything:

“For in him we live, and move, and have our being; as certain also of your own poets have said, For we are also his offspring” (Acts 17:28).

PRAYER

Father, let your grace be multiplied in me this season and help me to appreciate the Word everywhere I go in Jesus Mighty Name. Amen.

APPRECIATION

APPRECIATION
Beloved

Very many thanks to everyone of you for your goodwill messages & prayers on my special day. We are short of words to express our appreciation & joy for the love of Christ in you. Someone has said and correctly so, that GRACE makes our Christian journey on earth GREAT. His grace is sufficient for us. Minus His grace we are nothing. The greatest thing that can happen to a man in life on earth, is becoming intimate with the Truth in the Word.
We pray “That the God of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of glory, may give unto you the spirit of wisdom and revelation in the knowledge of him” (Ephesians 1:17). Amen.

The Word (45)-the Word is full of PEACE.

Word for Today

The Word (45)-the Word is full of PEACE.

“Peace I leave with you, my peace I give unto you: not as the world giveth, give I unto you. Let not your heart be troubled, neither let it be afraid” (John 14:27).

Beloved

The Word of God is full of peace and joy. He is the Prince of peace.

In the presence of God is fullness of joy. We all know that nobody can give out what he does not have. Peace, joy & tranquility are the nature of the Word.
The truth is that the type of peace & joy you get from the Word, you can never get them from this world. No amount of wealth, qualifications, titles, power etc can give you anything close to the peace & joy in the Word.
Peace & joy from the Word is the best legacy you can bequeath your children even before education. The word of God is the word of truth. It’s the greatest gift you can give to your family or anyone you truly love.
Repetition in saying this is okay for me, more so as today is special to me: “I have no greater joy than to hear that my children walk in truth” (3John 4). Henceforth, do NOT compromise on the truth. Say NO to lies and semblance of lies such as deliberately distorting information. Encourage your family and those around you to do the same. It’s well with you in Jesus name.
“Thou wilt shew me the path of life: in thy presence is fulness of joy; at thy right hand there are pleasures for evermore” (Psalm 16:11).

PRAYER

Father, please let peace & joy be multiplied in the lives of everyone who is sincerely committed to your Word all over the world in Jesus Mighty Name. Amen.

The Word (44)-Be hungry & thirsty for the Word.

MOW-True Spirituality
Word for Today
“Blessed are they which do hunger and thirst after righteousness: for they shall be filled” (Matthew 5:6).

Beloved

Blessed are those who hunger and thirst after righteousness. This teaching is from the greatest teacher who ever lived on earth, our Lord Jesus Christ.
There are many people who want to be wealthy both within the church and outside the church, but they are going about it the wrong way. True riches and wealth is a blessing from the Lord ( Proverbs 10:22), not just by hard work, though hard work is important.
Total obedience to the Word of God is vital to our being blessed. Many people are not committed to the Word. Some people seem committed but just for a season. Be consistent. The scriptures cannot be broken. The Word of God cannot deny Himself. Henceforth, ask God for the grace to be hungry & thirsty for the word of God and watch God in action in your life.

“But seek ye first the kingdom of God, and his righteousness; and all these things shall be added unto you” (Matthew 6:33).

PRAYER

Father, please multiply in me, the grace to be hungry and thirsty for your word, every second of my life in Jesus Mighty Name. Amen.
