Improving Our Spiritual Understanding

Memory Verse
“And when Abram was ninety years old and nine, the LORD appeared to Abram, and said unto him, I am the Almighty God; walk before me, and be thou perfect” (Genesis 17:1).

Dearly Beloved

Greetings to everyone in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ. This is the day the LORD has made…Psalm 118:24. Good morning beloved.

In our journey with the LORD, we are expected to pay attention to details and obey the word of God diligently. We are expected to be perfect .

God would NOT expect His children to be perfect if perfection was not a reality. Jesus Christ is a living example of a perfect man who ever lived. Let’s emulate Him. He admonished us:

“Be ye therefore perfect, even as your Father which is in heaven is perfect” ( Matthew 5:48).

In Christ Jesus, our God is perfect and He expects His children to walk with Him in perfection. Many Christians are unable to pay attention to details. They treat mistakes and errors lightly. A single mistake may be bad enough to end a person’s life prematurely. The truth is that no man can be perfect by his own strength or works but the Holy Spirit of God accomplishes perfection. You will recall the spirit of excellence that was in Daniel, that made him preferred above others (Daniel 6:3) . When God called Abraham, he was directed to pay attention to details and be perfect. Apostle admonished us: “This I say then, Walk in the Spirit, and ye shall not fulfil the lust of the flesh.”(Galatians 5:16). Ask the Holy Spirit to help you.

In Christ Jesus our God does not compromise on perfection. God has given us a perfect gift in Christ Jesus, in accordance with His word:

“Every good gift and every perfect gift is from above, and cometh down from the Father of lights, with whom is no variableness, neither shadow of turning” ( James 1:17).

As you study the word of God, you should learn to pay attention to details and be diligent. All the blessings of Deuteronomy 28:1-14, requires diligence and perfection.

“Grace be with all them that love our Lord Jesus Christ in sincerity. Amen.” ( Ephesians 6:24).

Ministry Of the Word (MOW)-True Spirituality

Ministry Of the Word (MOW): True Spirituality (TS)

The Greatest Commandments :

“Jesus said unto him, Thou shalt love the Lord thy God with all thy heart, and with all thy soul, and with all thy mind.
38 This is the first and great commandment.
39 And the second is like unto it, Thou shalt love thy neighbour as thyself”( Matthew 22:37-39).

“Let us hear the conclusion of the whole matter: Fear God, and keep his commandments: for this is the whole duty of man”(Ecclesiastes 12:13).

Grace and peace be multiplied to everyone (2Peter 1:2). Amen.

Thank you JESUS.

Ministry Of the Word (MOW):TS-Give thanks to God in every circumstance.

Word for Today: Give thanks to the LORD in every circumstance.

Ministry Of the Word (MOW): True Spirituality (TS)

Memory Verse

“In every thing give thanks: for this is the will of God in Christ Jesus concerning you”(1Thess 5:18).

Dearly Beloved,

In all circumstances, we are to give thanks to God in Christ Jesus.

Psalm 136:1-26 are all about thanksgiving.

“O give thanks unto the LORD; for he is good: for his mercy endureth for ever…”(Psalm 136:1-26)

Yesterday, the 28/05/2022, was a difficult day for me, as I watch the body of my younger brother, Anietie Ben Bassey being committed to the Mother Earth. Then, I remembered the word of the Psalmist: If the word of God has not been my delight, I would have been perished in my affliction (Psalm 119:92). Thank you Jesus. God makes no mistake.

May his soul Rest In PEACE.

Again , the memory verse above readily dropped in my spirit . We must give thanks to God in everything. Please, let’s meditate on Psalm 136. The mercy of the LORD is from everlasting to everlasting.

As we look forward to the new month, please, let us esteem the word of God above everything else. Let the word of God guide our steps (Psalm 119:133). Let’s value the word of God above food, money, silver and gold.

Job declared:

“Neither have I gone back from the commandment of his lips; I have esteemed the words of his mouth more than my necessary food” ( Job 23:12)

Let’s have the mind of the Psalmist who declared: “The law of thy mouth is better unto me than thousands of gold and silver”

(Psalm 119:72).

I am led to add this: For those who have contributed one way or the other to the current NEGATIVE situation in my father land, NIGERIA, the time for reckoning has come. Whether, they like it or not, they are going to be exposed and brought to great shame. They will seek for help but find none. The Word of God is against them. The LORD has spoken! Blood of Jesus!

Thank you Jesus.

As you read this message, ensure you are on Good Standing with God in Christ Jesus. Give thanks to God in every situation. Seek knowledge, wisdom and understanding. Stand by the truth. Only the truth can make you free indeed ( John 8:32).

Be careful with your thoughts, words, and actions.

It’s well with you in Jesus name. Amen ( Isaiah 3:10).

The grace of our Lord Jesus Christ be with you all(Phil 4:23). Amen

Stay connected to JESUS, the Word of God; the Way, the Truth and the Life; the grace of God to humanity( John 1:17).

Connect, Change and Live (CCL).

Be compassionate, merciful, kind and honest with one another

Thank you Jesus for your GRACE upon humanity, especially the Ministry Of the Word( Acts 6:4). Amen .
