Improving our Spiritual Understanding.

Memory Verse:
“But there is a spirit in man: and the inspiration of the Almighty giveth them understanding” ( Job 32:8).

Dearly Beloved

Greetings to everyone in the name of Jesus, especially to the great family of our Lord Jesus Christ.
Grace and peace be multiplied to you. Amen.

Man is a spirit. Unfortunately, not everyone is aware of their spirit being. The natural man does not understand the things of the spirit. It is the spirit that guarantees life. The flesh profits nothing. Indeed, the flesh is contrary to the spirit. The inspiration of God, called spiritual empowerment or anointing, gives man understanding . Without anointing and understanding of the realm of the supernatural, as well as keying into the ministry of the Holy Spirit, effective Christian life becomes very challenging.

Our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ Himself needed empowerment of the Holy Spirit to run a flourishing ministry on earth. The word of God reminds us of:

“How God anointed Jesus of Nazareth with the Holy Ghost and with power: who went about doing good, and healing all that were oppressed of the devil; for God was with him”(Acts 10:38).

Jesus promised all true believers this same empowerment in the same book of Acts, when he declared:

“But ye shall receive power, after that the Holy Ghost is come upon you: and ye shall be witnesses unto me both in Jerusalem, and in all Judaea, and in Samaria, and unto the uttermost part of the earth” (Acts 1:8).

This promise was followed by the assurance that believers so empowered will do greater works on earth. Jesus declared:

“Verily, verily, I say unto you, He that believeth on me, the works that I do shall he do also; and greater works than these shall he do; because I go unto my Father” (John 14:12).

Once a person has accepted Jesus Christ as his Lord and Saviour, he is empowered by the Holy Spirit to become a son of God ( John 1:11-12) and is seated with Christ on the right hand side of the Father, above all principalities and powers. By this virtue, he is superior to the devil and is untouchable. This understanding is very important. The only reason we are able to challenge the devil is because we are sons of God. We are joint heirs with Christ in God ((Romans 8:17).

A life of daily signs and wonders are the heritage of all true believers, if only we can key into the ministry of the Holy Spirit. Jesus Himself promised us:

“And these signs shall follow them that believe; In my name shall they cast out devils; they shall speak with new tongues; They shall take up serpents; and if they drink any deadly thing, it shall not hurt them; they shall lay hands on the sick, and they shall recover”( Mark 16:17-18).

If you truly believe in our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ, you are for signs and wonders. All you are required to do is work and walk with the Holy Spirit. Apostle Paul declared:

“This I say then, Walk in the Spirit, and ye shall not fulfil the lust of the flesh” (Gal 5:16).

Without our spirit man coming alive, a Christian remains powerless:
“It is the spirit that quickeneth; the flesh profiteth nothing: the words that I speak unto you, they are spirit, and they are life ( John 6:63).

Topic: What Is the Gospel About? – by Pastor Raphael

*MIND OF GOD (MOG)*

Text: John 1:29-31

“The next day John seeth Jesus coming unto him, and saith, Behold the Lamb of God, which taketh away the sin of the world. This is he of whom I said, After me cometh a man which is preferred before me: for he was before me. And I knew him not: but that he should be made manifest to Israel, therefore am I come baptizing with water.” John 1:29–31 (KJV)

The gospel is simply good news about God’s love for human beings. He didn’t forsake human beings because of Adamic sin but sent His beloved Son, Jesus Christ, to pay for the penalty of sin by shedding His blood on the cross of Calvary.

The penalty of sin is death and condemnation in hell, but Jesus paid the price for the salvation of all human beings. The only thing we need to do to actualize salvation is to personally believe in Jesus Christ for paying the price for us and to accept Him into our lives as Lord and personal Savior (Romans 10:9–10).

Jesus Christ is the center of the gospel, without whom there would be no salvation. John the Baptist was always quick to give Jesus the glory and let the whole world know that Jesus Christ is the Messiah.

Dear beloved, the gospel is about God’s love expressed in Jesus Christ, so draw attention to Jesus Christ. Never take the glory or draw attention to yourself in the course of preaching or sharing the good news. Let them know that they need Jesus Christ in order to be regarded as children of God, qualifying them to fellowship with God and to enter into the rest of God in heaven. Hallelujah!

Be an overcomer!

*SHALOMVOICE*

*PRAYER*
Dear heavenly Father, thank you for proving your love to me. I promise to preach the good news to the lost. Amen!

*CONFESSION*
I am the body of Christ so Satan has no power over me and I overcome evil with good. 1 Corinthians 12:27

*DAILY INSPIRING BIBLE VERSE*
“No man can serve two masters: for either he will hate the one, and love the other; or else he will hold to the one, and despise the other. Ye cannot serve God and mammon.” Matthew 6:24

Word for Today: We are required to be perfect.

Word for Today: We are required to be perfect.

Ministry Of the Word(MOW) : True Spirituality (TS)

Memory Verse

“And when Abram was ninety years old and nine, the LORD appeared to Abram, and said unto him, I am the Almighty God; walk before me, and be thou perfect” (Genesis 17:1).

Dearly Beloved

Good morning everyone. Blessed Sunday.

This is the day the Lord has made, let us rejoice and be glad in it (Psalm 118:24).

Jesus Christ is our perfect gift from God and is an example of a perfect man who ever lived. Let’s emulate Him. Whenever you are challenged, remember Jesus.

How would Jesus react in such situation?

Perfection is an individual responsibility.

When God called Abraham, he was directed to pay attention to details and be perfect. Abraham walked perfectly with God ( Genesis 17:1), our memory verse, so we too can walk with God in perfection.

In Christ Jesus, our God is perfect and He expects His children to walk with Him in perfection. Many Christians are unable to pay attention to details. They treat mistakes and errors lightly. A single mistake may be bad enough to end a person’s life prematurely. The truth is that no man can be perfect by his own strength or works but by the grace of God though the Holy Spirit of God. The grace of God that came in the person of JESUS ( John 1:17). Jesus is our example of perfect gift from God.

“Every good gift and every perfect gift is from above, and cometh down from the Father of lights, with whom is no variableness, neither shadow of turning” ( James 1:17).

In Christ Jesus our God does not compromise on perfection. Jesus commanded all His children to be perfect, saying:

“Be ye therefore perfect, even as your Father which is in heaven is perfect” ( Matthew 5:48)

As you study the word of God, please learn to pay attention to details and be diligent. All the blessings of Deuteronomy 28:1-14, requires diligence and perfection. A single error could deprive you of God’s blessings.

To grow spiritually requires daily meditation with the word of God (Joshua 1:8) and seeking first the kingdom of God and its righteousness (Matthew 6:33). It also requires total fear of God, and spiritual training in the word of God: “Train yourself to be godly”(1Tim 4:7-8 NIV).

Stay connected to JESUS, the Word of God.

Be knowledgeable. Be wise. Be enlightened.

Connect, Change, and live (CCL).

Be Honest, Sincere Kind and Compassionate in your relationship with man and God.

“Grace be with all them that love our Lord Jesus Christ in sincerity. Amen.” ( Ephesians 6:24).

Prayer Points

Dear Father, we pray for everyone sincerely connected to your Word, that they may experience perfection through your word and that men may see their good works in Christ Jesus and glorify your holy name, in Jesus mighty name. Amen.

Thank you Father, for Jesus our perfect gift from God.
