Word for Today: Our Perfect Season is Now.
Ministry Of the Word(MOW) : True Spirituality (TS)
Improving Our Spiritual Understanding.
Memory Verse
“Every good gift and every perfect gift is from above, and cometh down from the Father of lights, with whom is no variableness, neither shadow of turning” ( James 1:17).Dearly Beloved
Thank you JESUS for giving us a perfect season.
We salute everyone this season, especially the family of our great God.Jesus Christ is our perfect gift from God and is an example of a perfect man who ever lived. Let’s emulate Him. Whenever you are challenged, remember Jesus. How would Jesus react in such situation? Perfection is an individual responsibility.
Our ancestral father Abraham walked perfectly with God ( Genesis 17:1), so we too can walk with God in perfection.
In Christ Jesus, our God is perfect and He expects His children to walk with Him in perfection. Many Christians are unable to pay attention to details. They treat mistakes and errors lightly. A single mistake may be bad enough to end a person’s life prematurely. The truth is that no man can be perfect by his own strength or works but by the grace of God though the Holy Spirit of God. When God called Abraham, he was directed to pay attention to details and be perfect:
“And when Abram was ninety years old and nine, the LORD appeared to Abram, and said unto him, I am the Almighty God; walk before me, and be thou perfect” (Genesis 17:1).
In Christ Jesus, our God does not compromise on perfection. Jesus commanded all His children to be perfect, admonishing:
“Be ye therefore perfect, even as your Father which is in heaven is perfect” ( Matthew 5:48)
As you study the word of God, please learn to pay attention to details and be diligent. All the blessings of Deuteronomy 28:1-14, requires diligence and perfection. A single error could deprive you of God’s blessings.
To grow spiritually requires daily meditation with the word of God (Joshua 1:8) and seeking first the kingdom of God and its righteousness (Matthew 6:33). It also requires total fear of God, and spiritual training in the word of God: “Train yourself to be godly”(1Tim 4:7-8 NIV).
Stay Connected with Jesus Christ, the Spirit of God, also called the Word. He is the Way, the Truth and the Life.
Connect, Change and Live (CCL)Prayer Points
Dear Father, we pray for everyone sincerely connected to your Word, that they may experience perfection associated with this season through your word , that men may see their good works in Christ Jesus and glorify your holy name, in Jesus mighty name. Amen.Thank you Jesus for the season .

Text: Matthew 1:21“And she shall bring forth a son, and thou shalt call his name JESUS: for he shall save his people from their sins.” Matthew 1:21
Good morning and Complements of the season to the people of God.
The true story about Jesus Christ of Nazareth is one of a kind, and it cannot be put under a rug but rather ought to be celebrated forever. Never before or after has a virgin become pregnant, but it happened to Mary.
Joseph, her betrothed husband, could not comprehend it and had wanted to divorce her privately. However, the angel convinced him in a dream not to be afraid or worried, and he accepted her as his betroth wife.
Jesus Christ was born, and He accomplished God’s purpose by saving mankind from their sins. This is a very good example of how God wants to work with His children to accomplish His will on Earth.
Joseph and Mary availed themselves to God and must be very happy now in heaven to have been given such an honor. He is the only one born by a virgin, whose name is so powerful to save the lost and provide answers to desperate situations.

Topic: Hope Is the Best Gift We Can Give – by Bro Harry Bassey .
Text : Romans 15:4“everything that was written in the past was written to teach us, so that through endurance and the encouragement of the Scriptures we might have hope.”
What happens when you fill a cup with more water than it can hold? The water quickly rises to the top, overflows, and spills over the side.
The same thing that happens with water in a cup can happen to us when we allow God to fill our life with hope. When we are filled with hope, it overflows, and it spills over into the lives of the people around us.
In Light of our Text : Romans 15:4;
God uses the Bible to speak hope in to our life so that we can share it with others. When the promises of God become our focus, hope rises to fill our heart and affect those around us. The very best gift we can give to others who may be lacking hope is to allow what we have been given to overflow into their lives.Declare:
Now may the God of hope fill you with all joy and peace as you believe in Him so that you may overflow with hope by the power of the Holy Spirit.
Romans 15:13 HCSBPerhaps there is someone you care about who is in a season of lacking hope. They might be ready to give up. If so, don’t let the day end without reaching out to that person with this message of hope. If they can’t find hope of their own, allow them to borrow the hope the Lord has given you. It will be the best gift you can give.
Pray:
Jesus, thank You for being my source of hope. I pray that the hope you give me would spill out into the lives of others and that I would continually rely on you during the times of my life when I need hope.Reflect:
Is there anyone you know that needs hope today? Pray for that person, ask God to encourage them and bring them hope and joy. After you pray reach out with a phone call or a text message of encouragement.Bro. Harrison Bassey, minister of the Word, based in Eket, Nigeria

Topic :Hope Is Found in Jesus
Text: 1 Peter 1:3-5 GNTD“Let us give thanks to the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ! Because of his great mercy he gave us new life by raising Jesus Christ from death. This fills us with a living hope, and so we look forward to possessing the rich blessings that God keeps for his people. He keeps them for you in heaven, where they cannot decay or spoil or fade away. They are for you, who through faith are kept safe by God’s power for the salvation which is ready to be revealed at the end of time.”
1 Peter 1:3-5 GNTDImagine a child getting lost in the mall while Christmas shopping. Even if her parents had to search for hours and hours, would they give up on trying to find her?
Like a child separated from her parents, our sin separates us from God. Romans 3:23 says we have “all sinned and fall short of the glory of God.” That sounds utterly hopeless, but like a parent who won’t give up, God found a way to repair our relationship with Him.
God loved us so much that He sent His Son, Jesus, to make a way for us to have a relationship with Him. We could never pay the debt our sin created. When Jesus died on the cross, He took our punishment for us. When Jesus rose from the dead, He proved that He was more powerful than all of the sin, death, and evil in this world. When we ask Jesus into our lives, we are reunited with our Father in heaven, and we receive the power to overcome, just like Jesus did.
Jesus is the focus and source of our hope. This is why Christmas is so important. Without Jesus’ birth, death, and resurrection, our sins would not be forgiven. We would still be apart from God, like a child lost in the hustle of the Christmas shopping season.
*Declare*
My Hope is built on nothing less, than Jesus Blood and His righteousnessHope begins with being reunited with God, and once we are, Jesus begins to bring hope to all areas of our life. There is no situation in your life right now that is too bad for the “living hope” promised to us in 1 Peter 1:3. Christmas is all about hope, and that hope would not be possible without Jesus.
*Prayer*:
Jesus, thank you for paying a debt I could never pay. You are the reason I can have hope in all circumstances. Help me to remember that the same power that lives in You lives in me. You overcame the worst the world has to offer, and with You, I can do the same.*Reflect*
What’s one area of your life where you could use some hope right now? Ask God to help you have hope in all areas of your life.Bro. Harrison Bassey, minister of the Word, based in Eket, Nigeria
