Dearly Beloved
Greetings to the great family of God in Christ Jesus all over the world. This is the day the Lord has made ( Psalm 118:24).

Let the redeemed of the LORD rejoice in the consciousness of the attributes of the blessed persons Psalmist chapter one.

The redeemed of the LORD are special people in the sight of the Lord. The redeemed of the LORD are the spiritual Israelites.

We are the righteousness of God in Christ Jesus. The Word assured us:
“And they shall call them, The holy people, The redeemed of the LORD: and thou shalt be called, Sought out, A city not forsaken” (Isaiah 62:12).

Therefore, we are empowered to live extraordinary live. We are not ordinary people any more because of the grace of God. We should therefore follow the teachings of Jesus Christ who admonished : “But I say unto you, Love your enemies, bless them that curse you, do good to them that hate you, and pray for them which despitefully use you, and persecute you” ( Matthew 5:44).

Stay connected with JESUS, the Word. Be knowledgeable; Be wise; Be enlightened.
Become a Disciple, Ambassador and a Missionary for Jesus Christ as a redeemed of the LORD.

Ensure you think no evil against anyone.

Be compassionate and kind to one another.

Be sensitive to the Holy Spirit.

There is someone reading this message, receive the grace to be amongst the redeemed of the LORD in Jesus mighty name. Amen. Dear Father, please continue to frustrate, expose and flush out every pretender in our midst in Jesus name. Amen

Special 2018 Christmas Message from the Ministry Of the Word (MOW).

Merry Christmas & Prosperous 2019 from MOW.

Dearly Beloved

On behalf of myself, my immediate family and the great family of the Ministry Of the Word (MOW), I wish everyone a very merry 2018 Christmas and a joyful , prosperous and Spirit-filled 2019. Please, be very positively expectant in 2019. If you are a Nigerian, please prayerfully expect a NEW NIGERIA in 2019, even if your name is Thomas. I mean a Nigeria of our dream! In the year 2019, the power of the Almighty God will be manifested immensely all over the world, in such extra-ordinary way that no human being could ever think or imagine. Thank you Jesus! The Lord has spoken ( Lamentation 3:37). The Lord does nothing without revealing it to His prophets (Amos 3:7-8).

This season, let us continue to appreciate God, rejoice and worship God, preparatory to the arrival of JESUS , the first born Son of God; the only human being (person) born of the power of the Holy Spirit, out of prophecy ( Isaiah 7:14), to take away the sins of the world-“And she shall bring forth a son, and thou shalt call his name JESUS: for he shall save his people from their sins” ( Matthew 1:21).

Without JESUS, the Grace and Truth of God to humanity ( John 1:17), no human being amount to anything, even though there are many people alive today by His grace, who are ignorant of this. This is because: “The LORD is merciful and gracious, slow to anger, and plenteous in mercy” (Psalm 103:8).

Rejoice in the Lord always, again I say rejoice ( Phil 4:4).

Those already connected to JESUS, the Way, may your grace and peace be multiplied (2 Peter 1:2). For those who are yet to connect to the Lord, may the Father of our Lord and Saviour Himself draws them to JESUS ( John 6:44). Amen and Amen.

We thank God in Christ for the season. Once more, Merry Christmas to you all, irrespective of your location.

Dearly Beloved

Compliments of the season to everyone, especially to the great family of our Lord Jesus Christ. Amen.

There is a spirit in man. Unfortunately, not everyone is aware of their spirit being. The natural man does not understand the things of the spirit. It is the spirit that guarantees life. The flesh profits nothing. Indeed, the flesh is contrary to the spirit. The inspiration of God, called spiritual empowerment or anointing, gives man understanding . Without anointing and understanding of the realm of the supernatural, as well as keying into the ministry of the Holy Spirit, Christianity becomes a mere ritual and an empty religious movement.

Our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ Himself needed empowerment of the Holy Spirit to run a flourishing ministry on earth. The word of God reminds us of:

“How God anointed Jesus of Nazareth with the Holy Ghost and with power: who went about doing good, and healing all that were oppressed of the devil; for God was with him”(Acts 10:38).

Jesus promised all true believers this same empowerment in the same book of Acts, when he declared:

“But ye shall receive power, after that the Holy Ghost is come upon you: and ye shall be witnesses unto me both in Jerusalem, and in all Judaea, and in Samaria, and unto the uttermost part of the earth” (Acts 1:8).

This promise was followed by the assurance that believers so empowered will do greater works on earth. Jesus declared:

“Verily, verily, I say unto you, He that believeth on me, the works that I do shall he do also; and greater works than these shall he do; because I go unto my Father” (John 14:12).

Once a person has accepted Christ as his Lord and Saviour, he is empowered by the Holy Spirit to become a son of God ( John 1:11-12) and is seated with Christ on the right hand side of the Father, above all principalities and powers. By this virtue, he is superior to the devil and is untouchable. This understanding is very important. The only reason we are able to challenge the devil is because we are sons of God. We are joint heirs with Christ in God ((Romans 8:17).

A life of daily signs and wonders are the heritage of all true believers, if only we can key into the ministry of the Holy Spirit. Jesus Himself promised us:

And these signs shall follow them that believe; In my name shall they cast out devils; they shall speak with new tongues; They shall take up serpents; and if they drink any deadly thing, it shall not hurt them; they shall lay hands on the sick, and they shall recover ( Mark 16:17-18).

If you truly believe in our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ, you are for signs and wonders. All you are required to do is work and walk with the Holy Spirit. Apostle Paul declared:

“This I say then, Walk in the Spirit, and ye shall not fulfil the lust of the flesh” (Gal 5:16).

The Lord Jesus is that Spirit:

“Now the Lord is that Spirit: and where the Spirit of the Lord is, there is liberty” ( 2 Cor 3:17).

Without our spirit man coming alive, a Christian remains powerless:

“It is the spirit that quickeneth; the flesh profiteth nothing: the words that I speak unto you, they are spirit, and they are life ( John 6:63).

Stay connected to JESUS, the Spirit of God, also called the Word. He is the SOURCE of life. He is the true light of the world. Be knowledgeable. Seek wisdom. Be enlightened.

Keep your thoughts & mind positive & healthy . Challenge negativity as much as possible.

Think no evil against anyone. Live in peace with one another as much as it depends on you.

Be merciful, compassionate and kind to one another.

Be sensitive to the voice of the Holy Spirit. The Spirit Speaks.

Prayer Points

Dear Father, please give us the grace of personal revival, and to spiritually go higher in Jesus mighty name. Amen. Father, please continue to frustrate and expose every pretender and hypocrite in our churches and societies in Jesus name.

Thank you Jesus for filling me with your Holy Spirit. I receive increasing understanding in Jesus mighty name. Amen.

*TOPIC: DON’T BE GREEDY*

TEXT: Luke 12:15

Introduction
To be greedy means to have a selfish or excessive desire for more than is needed or deserved, especially of money, wealth, food, or other possessions. It’s a vice not a virtue. Examine yourself, what’s your attitude where they are sharing things free? do you desire to have more than needed or deserved? where others are yet to have.

*WHAT TO NOTE*
1. Satan fellowship in the house of the greedy Pro 15:27a (He that is greedy of gain troubleth his own house)
2. The greedy is treading the path of destruction Pro 1:19 (So are the ways of every one that is greedy of gain; which taketh away the life of the owners thereof.)
3. It’s a sin that automatically adds other sin like *lying* example: Gehazi lie to Elisha that he didn’t go anywhere, but he had gone after Naman to get the gift his master rejected 2Kings 5:25

*THE WAY OUT*
1. Be contented with what you have 1Tim 6:6
2. Get to know Jesus more (Jesus said ……. beware of covetousness: for a man’s life consist not in the abundance of the things which he possess. Luke 12:15)
3. Don’t compare yourself with others. 2Cor 10:12
4. God knows you before you were formed and He has a plan to prosper you 3John 2

In conclusion, greediness leads to destruction, so don’t be greedy but be contented.

Father, destroy every spirit of greed in me, and give me the grace to be contented in Jesus name. Amen
