Word for Today: The most Powerful, Gracious and Merciful Spirit.

Word for Today :

The most Powerful, Gracious and Merciful Spirit

Ministry Of the Word (MOW): True Spirituality(TS)

Memory Verse

“… for I knew that thou art a gracious God, and merciful, slow to anger, and of great kindness, and repentest thee of the evil” ( Jonah 4:2).

Dearly Beloved

We salute everyone in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ. The LORD is to be praised for His mercy and compassion.

“This is the day which the LORD hath made; we will rejoice and be glad in it” (Psalm 118:24).

Most of us are familiar with the true life story of Jonah in the bible. Jonah accused the LORD of being too gracious and compassionate. Yes, our God in Christ Jesus is truly gracious and compassionate. He is ever ready to forgive our iniquities completely, if we are willing. He says if our sins be as scarlet, they shall be as white as wool( Isaiah 1:18).

The Holy Spirit in our Lord Jesus is at work. You may not see the Holy Spirit at work, but you can experience Him or feel Him. If you are truly born again, you should experience inexplicable joy and encouragement

from the Holy Spirit. The Holy Spirit is quick, powerful, aggressive, reliable, guided, friendly, wise, comforting and exciting . You can’t do without Him in fighting the battles of life.

Ask God to anoint you afresh today, being a day of double grace. Anointing gives us much power to contribute to the destruction of the works of the devil. We need courage and boldness to tread on serpents and scorpions, and to crush their heads.

“The wind bloweth where it listeth, and thou hearest the sound thereof, but canst not tell whence it cometh, and whither it goeth: so is every one that is born of the Spirit” ( John 3:8).

The Holy Spirit is highest power. He is the Spirit that raised up Jesus from dead . When that Spirit dwells in you, it will quicken your mortal body ( Romans 8:11). Hallelujah!

You shall receive power when the Holy Spirit comes upon you ( Acts 1:8)

No weapon fashioned against you shall prosper ( Isaiah 54:17)

Stay connected to Jesus, the Word. He is the Way, the Truth and the Life. He is the Lord. Now the Lord is that Spirit. The highest Spirit in heaven, earth and underneath the earth.

Prayer Points

Our Father and our God, the great and mighty God, the most merciful and most compassionate God, who is slow to anger, we praise you for your mercies that have preserved us. Thank you for keeping the enemies away from your children. We pray that you continue to frustrate and expose every hypocrite and evil doer in our midst in Jesus mighty name. Amen .

Thank you Jesus

Word for Today: You can choose NOT to sin.

Word for Today: You can choose NOT to sin.

Ministry Of the Word (MOW): True Spirituality (TS).

Improving Our Spiritual and Understanding

Memory Verse:

“Therefore to him that knoweth to do good, and doeth it not, to him it is sin” ( James 4:17).

Dearly Beloved

Good morning to the great family of our Lord Jesus Christ.

Beloved, if you truly want to enjoy your Christian life, you have to draw a battle line against sin. Sin has hindered so many Christians from making progress in life . If you do not deal with sin in your life, sin will deal with you.

Sin is basically unrighteousness. Unfortunately, many Christians often toy with sin. Many are not bothered about fornicating, lying, cheating, deceiving and manipulating others. Some people even call such manipulation ‘wisdom’. Believe me, sin is very dangerous. One of the best definitions of sin, I often like to refer to is the one given by Saint James in our memory verse. Brother James is telling us here that sin has to do with knowledge. Doing good to ourselves and others, starts with our thoughts not just actions.

What are your thoughts towards yourself and others? How lively and edifying are the words you speak to others? The words of God are Word of Life(1John 1:1), meaning that the words of Satan(doubt, fear, unbelief) are words of death. No wonder the same Saint James says a perfect person is the one who makes no mistakes with his tongue: “For in many things we offend all. If any man offend not in word, the same is a perfect man, and able also to bridle the whole body” (James 3:2). Death and life are in the power of the tongue …( Proverbs 18:21).

Jesus Christ, our role model was anointed to go out and do good ( Acts 10:38). There was no trace of sin, evil, manipulation or wickedness in Him. Truly, only in righteousness are we established (Isaiah 54:14). Nothing can harm us if we use our anointing for goodness and we refrain from evil (1Peter 3:13).

Actually, the depth of our anointing is dependent on our commitment to love righteousness and hate sin:

“Thou hast loved righteousness, and hated iniquity; therefore God, even thy God, hath anointed thee with the oil of gladness above thy fellows” (Hebrews 1:9).

Henceforth, go out and do good to others. Go out and show love to others. Love covers multitude of sins (1Peter 4:8).

In the gospel, Jesus later met the man who was impotent for 38 years, which He restored (John 5:5-9), and appealed to the man to stop sinning, having been made whole or worse thing would happen to him:

“Afterward Jesus findeth him in the temple, and said unto him, Behold, thou art made whole: sin no more, lest a worse thing come unto thee”(John 5:14).

Jesus expects all His followers to be perfect. He admonished us:

“Be ye therefore perfect, even as your Father which is in heaven is perfect” ( Matthew 5:48).

Stay connected with Jesus, the light of the world. He is the Spirit of God ; He is the  power and wisdom of God; He is the Way, the Truth and the Life.

To grow spiritually entails daily meditating in the word of God( Joshua 1:8).

Word for Today: Put your Trust in the LORD.

Word for Today:

Put Your Trust in the LORD.

Ministry Of the Word (MOW) : True Spirituality (TS)

Memory Verse

“They that trust in the LORD shall be as mount Zion, which cannot be removed, but abideth for ever” (Psalm 125:1).

Dearly Beloved

We salute all the great men and women of the LORD all over the world. Good and Blessed morning to everyone.

“Trust in the LORD with all thine heart; and lean not unto thine own understanding.

In all thy ways acknowledge him, and he shall direct thy paths” (Proverbs 3:5-6).

Who do you trust in life? Who is your source? Who is your mentor? Who is your role model? How intimate are you with our Lord Jesus Christ? You are the only person who can answer these questions sincerely .

Some people are in a haste to run to another person at the slightest challenge, though are ‘born again’ Christians. The bible admonishes us:

“It is better to trust in the LORD than to put confidence in man. It is better to trust in the LORD than to put confidence in princes” (Psalm 118:8-9).

According to the word of God, it’s actually a curse to put your trust in man:

“Thus saith the LORD; Cursed be the man that trusteth in man, and maketh flesh his arm, and whose heart departeth from the LORD” ( Jeremiah 17:5).

Let Jesus Christ be your only source, no matter your circumstances. Put all your trust in Him. He will never fail you. He has never failed anyone in the past.

Stay connected to Jesus Christ, the Word. He is the Way, the Truth and the Life. He is the power and wisdom of God (1Corinthians 1:24).

Do not think evil of anyone . Be sensitive to the Holy Spirit.

Prayer Points

Dear Father, please enhance my intimacy with your beloved Son, Jesus Christ, in Jesus mighty name. Amen. Dear Father, please continue to expose and flush out wicked doers in our midst in Jesus name. Amen.
