Dearly Beloved

Good morning to the great family of God in Christ Jesus all over the world. Wishing you all Spirit- filled new day the LORD has made.

Brethren, please pray to be filled with the Holy Spirit daily. Without anointing, spiritual empowerment, living in the realm of the supernatural, and keying into the ministry of the Holy Spirit, Christianity becomes a mere empty religion.

Our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ Himself needed empowerment of the Holy Spirit to run a flourishing ministry on earth:

“How God anointed Jesus of Nazareth with the Holy Ghost and with power: who went about doing good, and healing all that were oppressed of the devil; for God was with him”(Acts 10:38).

Jesus promised all true believers this same empowerment:

“But ye shall receive power, after that the Holy Ghost is come upon you: and ye shall be witnesses unto me both in Jerusalem, and in all Judaea, and in Samaria, and unto the uttermost part of the earth” (Acts 1:8).

This promise was followed by the assurance that believers so empowered will do greater works on earth:

“Verily, verily, I say unto you, He that believeth on me, the works that I do shall he do also; and greater works than these shall he do; because I go unto my Father” (John 14:12).

Once a person has accepted Christ as his Lord and Saviour, he is empowered by the Holy Spirit to become a son of God ( John 1:11-12) and by this virtue, he is superior to the devil. This understanding is very important. The only reason we are able to challenge the devil is because we are sons of God. We are joint heirs with Christ in God ((Romans 8:17).

The question is: Why is it that many children of God are not able to hear from their Father? The answer lies in lack of total obedience to the words of God, which leads to unrighteousness and separation from God (Isa 59:1-2). If only we can live a life of truth and total obedience to the word of God, the Holy Spirit is more than ready to guide us according to the Scripture:

“Howbeit when he, the Spirit of truth, is come, he will guide you into all truth: for he shall not speak of himself; but whatsoever he shall hear, that shall he speak: and he will shew you things to come” (John 16:13). This scripture enables us to know that the Holy Spirit only speaks what he hears from the Word. In other words, the Holy Spirit is powerless without the Word. Of course, we know from the scripture that the Lord Himself is the embodiment of that Spirit:

“Now the Lord is that Spirit: and where the Spirit of the Lord is, there is liberty” ( 2 Cor 3:17).

The Word and the Holy Spirit are inseparable. A life of daily signs and wonders are the heritage of all true believers, if only we can key into the ministry of the Holy Spirit:

“And these signs shall follow them that believe; In my name shall they cast out devils; they shall speak with new tongues; They shall take up serpents; and if they drink any deadly thing, it shall not hurt them; they shall lay hands on the sick, and they shall recover ( Mark 16:17-18).

If you truly believe in our Lord Jesus Christ, you are for signs and wonders.  All you are required to do is work and walk with the Holy Spirit. Allow the Holy Spirit to reveal you as a son of God.

“This I say then, Walk in the Spirit, and ye shall not fulfil the lust of the flesh” (Gal 5:16).

” The Spirit itself beareth witness with our spirit, that we are the children of God” (Romans 8:16).

Stay connected with JESUS, the Word. Be knowledgeable; Be wise; Be enlightened.

Connect, Change & Live (CCL)

Become a Disciple, Ambassador and a Missionary for Jesus Christ on a daily basis as a redeemed of the LORD.

Ensure you think no evil against anyone.

Be compassionate and kind to one another.

Be sensitive to the Holy Spirit.

Word for Today: The redeemed of the LORD!

“Therefore the redeemed of the LORD shall return, and come with singing unto Zion; and everlasting joy shall be upon their head: they shall obtain gladness and joy; and sorrow and mourning shall flee away” ( Isaiah 51:11).

Dearly Beloved

We salute the great family of God in Christ Jesus all over the world. Wishing you Spirit- filled Sunday.

Let us increasingly desire the attributes of the blessed persons as revealed by the Psalmist through inspiration of the Holy Spirit in Psalm chapter one.

The redeemed of the LORD are special people in the sight of the Lord. We are the righteousness of God in Christ Jesus.

“And they shall call them, The holy people, The redeemed of the LORD: and thou shalt be called, Sought out, A city not forsaken” (Isaiah 62:12).

Therefore, we are empowered to live extraordinary live. We are not ordinary people any more because of the grace of God. We should therefore follow the teachings of Jesus Christ who admonished : “But I say unto you, Love your enemies, bless them that curse you, do good to them that hate you, and pray for them which despitefully use you, and persecute you” ( Matthew 5:44).

Stay connected with JESUS, the Word. Be knowledgeable; Be wise; Be enlightened.

Dearly Beloved,

Good morning to the family of God in Christ Jesus. We bless the living God for Jesus Christ.

Many people (within the church and outside the church) have not experienced freedom indeed because of their inability to embrace the truth. People can lie or distort the truth at the slightest excuse. You have to embrace the truth passionately, if you desire to be free indeed. In other words, no trace of deceit and falsehood must come from your thoughts and lips because the Holy Spirit of God is the Spirit of the truth (John 16:13).

Without deep knowledge of the truth in Jesus ; without standing by the truth, doing the truth and defending the truth, our freedom is only partial. Many people are in spiritual bondage, yet they don’t know it. Only Jesus, the Son of God (called the Truth) can make man free indeed .

Spiritually speaking, our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ is the truth. No other person has ever said: ” I am the way, the truth, and the life” (John 14:6).

Our memory verse says:

“And ye shall know the truth, and the truth shall make you free” ( John 8:32). In verse 36, the word of God says: “If the Son therefore shall make you free, ye shall be free indeed “(John 8:36). In other words, if the truth shall make you free, you shall be free indeed. The Son here refers to the spiritual person of Jesus Christ, the number two in the Holy Trinity.

There are levels of freedom. Unfortunately, many  people who are in bondage do not have awareness of being in it.  Bondage can be physical, mental and spiritual. Spiritual bondage is by far worse than physical or mental bondage. For  example, a person who is physically in prison may be spiritually free if he abides with the truth and the Lord can set him free physically if he praises and worships Him sufficiently enough, just as what happened to Paul and Silas (Acts 16:25-26).

Knowledge and understanding are very vital to complete freedom.  Ignorance is at the root of many captivity, resulting in destruction ( Hosea 4:6). No one can truly flourish when in bondage.

The Scripture says:

“Therefore my people are gone into captivity, because they have no knowledge”( Isaiah 5:13).

Many at times, I am amazed by the level of ignorance, falsehood and lies by those I interact with, even by those who “go to church” regularly. In my personal work and walk with the Lord, I have observed people lie very easily to cover up wrong deeds, as if the unrighteous act itself is not  bad enough, yet, the Bible tells us that lying is the true nature of the devil ( John 8:44).

Without totally surrendering your life to Jesus, you can not be free indeed. The Truth ( Jesus Christ) can only set you free indeed if you embrace Him and cleave to Him at all cost. And we know from the scripture that Jesus Christ is the Word of God( John 1:1).

Without total freedom, we cannot worship God in Christ in spirit and in truth ( John 4:24). Neither can we love God with all our heart, soul and mind without freedom indeed( Matt 22:37).

Take that vital decision to be cleaved to the truth in the Word today.

Stay Connected with Jesus Christ, the grace of God to humanity. He is the Way, the Truth and the Life. He is the light of the world; the Son of God who came to set us free indeed.

Word for Today: Please , don’t reject the grace of God.

Dearly Beloved

Good morning to God’s family worldwide. We bless God for a brand new day of the Lord.

The grace of God has come to man in the person of our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ. With the grace of God, we can do all things. Without the grace of God, we can do nothing.

Grace simply means divine unmerited favour. Grace also means the wisdom and power of God .

Every one needs the grace of God; every one depends on the grace and mercy of God for survival, even if he or she does not have the awareness or does not believe in God. The word of God says:
“For the law was given by Moses, but grace and truth came by Jesus Christ” ( John 1:17)

Indeed, Jesus came with the fullness of grace and truth.

“But the God of all grace, who hath called us unto his eternal glory by Christ Jesus, after that ye have suffered a while, make you perfect, stablish, strengthen, settle you” (1Peter 5:10).

“Let us therefore come boldly unto the throne of grace, that we may obtain mercy, and find grace to help in time of need” (Hebrews 4:16).

Grace be with all them that love our Lord Jesus Christ in sincerity. Amen (Ephesians 6:24).

Stay Connected with Jesus Christ, the grace of God to humanity. He is the Way, the Truth and the Life. He is the light of the world; the Son of God who came to set us free indeed.

Connect, Change & Live ( CCL)

To grow spiritually requires daily meditation with the word of God (Joshua 1:8) and seeking first the kingdom of God and its righteousness  (Matthew 6:33). It also requires total fear of God, and  spiritual training in the word of God: “Train yourself to be godly”(1Tim 4:7-8 NIV).

Dear Father, we bless your holy name for the grace of Grace of God that came to our lives in the person of Jesus Christ. Amen. Father, please continue to frustrate and flush out every pretender in our midst in Jesus name. Amen
