Dearly Beloved

Joyful Sunday to the great family of the true God in Christ Jesus .

Truly, all things work together for our good, if truly we love God.  God uses our negative experiences to demonstrate His power and advance the kingdom of light. Please, do not murmur or complain when you go through challenges. The gospel of our Lord Jesus is advanced through our challenges. Am a living example :

“But I would ye should understand, brethren, that the things which happened unto me have fallen out rather unto the furtherance of the gospel…” ( Phil 1:12-14).

Many people will do everything possible to avoid challenges. Remember Joseph, Job, Paul etc. Saint James puts it this way:

“My brethren, count it all joy when ye fall into divers temptations; Knowing this, that the trying of your faith worketh patience. But let patience have her perfect work, that ye may be perfect and entire, wanting nothing” ( James 1:2-4).

Rather than praying to avoid challenges, pray to God for more grace. His grace is sufficient for us (2Corinthians 12:9).

Meditate on the word of God daily.

Stay connected with Jesus, the Word. He is the Way, the Truth and the Life.  Seek knowledge, wisdom and understanding. Stand by the truth. Only the truth can make you free indeed ( John 8:32).

Be careful with your thoughts, words, and actions.

Prayer Points

Father, please help use to choose a life of righteousness in Jesus name. Amen. Please, Father, continue to frustrate and expose every pretender in our midst in Jesus name. Amen.

We salute the great family of God in Christ Jesus the world over. Good morning.

There is fire in the word of God. There can be no light without fire. Darkness is terrible. In darkness, your best friend can do harm to you without your knowledge . Many people are afraid of light because it exposes evil deeds. Jesus is the fire and the light of this world. Without fire, agents of darkness may put you in bondage and freely have a field day around you.

If you fully have Jesus, then you should be on fire for the Lord. The fire in you should generate light for others to see. Remember that not everyone are ready to follow light, because light exposes:

“And this is the condemnation, that light is come into the world, and men loved darkness rather than light, because their deeds were evil” ( John 3:19).

We cannot afford to be careless with with Word of God:

“For our God is a consuming fire” (Hebrews 12:29).

Stay connected with Jesus Christ, the Word, the Spirit of God, the Way, the Truth and the Life. Jesus Christ is Lord.

Greetings to the great people of God in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ. It’s well with you. Amen.

Let us never get tired of doing good to one another. Goodness is of God. No one can ever harm you if you are a follower of goodness:

“And who is he that will harm you, if ye be followers of that which is good?” (1Peter 3:13).

God has given us His word. Let the word of God guide your steps. Remember, everyone shall give account of his or her stewardship on earth one day. Jesus is Lord and the light of the world . Embrace His word today:

“Thy word is a lamp unto my feet, and a light unto my path” (Psalm 119:105)

Building your faith is a battle.

“Fight the good fight of faith, lay hold on eternal life, whereunto thou art also called, and hast professed a good profession before many witnesses ” ( 1Tim 6:12).

Dearly Beloved

This is the day the Lord has made, we shall rejoice and be glad in it.

Effective Christian living is spiritual warfare. The good news is that in that battle, you are more than conqueror ( Romans 8:37), because of Jesus Christ as your Commander in Chief. How can you be a ‘winner’ without fighting and winning a battle? Apostle Paul admonished his spiritual son, Timothy, to ‘fight the good fight of faith’. Faith comes from hearing and exposing yourself to the word of God.

Yes, Jesus Christ won the battle over 2000 years, but every one of us have a role to play. We have to join hands with Jesus to ‘destroy the works of the devil’ (1John 3:8).

In fighting the battles of life, please ensure you put on the full armour of God:

“Put on the whole armour of God, that ye may be able to stand against the wiles of the devil” (Ephesians 6:11).

My prayer is that at the end of my sojourn on earth, I am able to say with boldness like apostle Paul:

“I have fought a good fight, I have finished my course, I have kept the faith…” ( 2Timothy 4:7
