Dearly Beloved

Greetings to God’s family. Be reassured that God is love.

Everyone fights the various battles of life, whether he or she believes in God or not. You don’t have to be a believer to KNOW that you need treatment or help when you are seriously unwell. Life is a battle.

Unfortunately, some believers are under the impression that once you have given your life to Christ, they don’t need to do anything. Jesus will do everything. This is absolute spiritual ignorance. In life, you sow before you reap. You reap what you sow. Merely reciting ‘it’s not my portion’ is not enough.

In our memory verse above, apostle Paul charged his spiritual son, Timothy, to war a good warfare. The Word says Jesus came to earth to destroy the works of the devil (1John 3:8).

As spiritual Christians, let us go about our duties daily with the consciousness of the fact we are at war at all times-at our places of work, within our families, in our ministries, within our communities etc. We must also be conscious of the fact the war we are called to fight is spiritual, not physical. “For we wrestles not against flesh and blood” (Ephesians 6:12).

Every true believer is a soldier of the cross. Jesus is the Captain of the army of heaven. He rides in a white horse. His names include: Truth, Faithful Righteousness (Rev 19:11). and the Word of God (verse 13). He wages war with sword from his mouth: And out of his mouth goeth a sharp sword (Rev 19:15).

The weapons of our warfare are the words of our mouth.

Brethren, we are at war. We need knowledge to win the war.  It’s is a spiritual war. It is a war between light and darkness. It is a war between good and evil. It is a war between right and wrong. It’s a war between knowledge and ignorance. It is a war between perfection and imperfection. It is a war against all forms of captivity and oppressions. It is a war against poverty. It is a war against sicknesses and diseases. It is a war against accident. It is a war against untimely death. It is a war against seduction and manipulation. It is a war against anxiety, fear, doubt, and unbelief. It is a war against unfaithfulness and insincerity. It is a war against laziness and idleness. It is a war against pretence and hypocrisy. It is a war against coldness and lukewarmness. It is a war against falsehood, gossiping, hatred, unforgiveness and lies. It is a war against wickedness, in all forms. It is a war against Satan, devils, demons and their cohorts.

It is a war in defence of truth, sincerity, humility, faithfulness, openness, righteousness, honesty, integrity, transparency, divine health, knowledge and love. Our Captain, Jesus Christ, is in charge. Let us follow his examples. His name is Righteousness. His name is Truth. His name is Faithful.

Be ye therefore perfect, even as your Father which is in heaven is perfect (Matt 5:48)

Stay connected with Jesus Christ, the Word, the Spirit of God,  the Way, the Truth and the Life. The only one whom the fullness of God the Father dwells.

Dearly Beloved

I salute the great family of God worldwide today.

The bible tells us that Jesus always knew what to do in every situation while on earth. Remember when there was no more wine in a wedding ; the celebrants might have been really worried, through simple obedience ordinary water became the best wine.  If you are a friend of Christ, you would KNOW what to do in every situation. There was no challenge or situation Jesus could not handle when He was on earth on account of His oneness with the Father. There is no problem or challenge without a solution. All what is needed to handle every challenge is KNOWLEDGE. You might have been a Christian for many years, the question is, do you know what to do in every situation?

There is the common saying that knowledge is power. Build on your knowledge, especially spiritual knowledge. Ignorance is a form of captivity on itself even for children of God:

“Therefore my people are gone into captivity, because they have no knowledge: and their honourable men are famished, and their multitude dried up with thirst” (Isaiah 5:13).

Be a follower of Jesus Christ, rather than being religious about your Christianity. Following Christ will enable you to KNOW what to do in every situation you find yourself. Daily build on your knowledge.

Apostle Peter explained it this way:

“And beside this, giving all diligence, add to your faith virtue; and to virtue knowledge;

And to knowledge temperance; and to temperance patience; and to patience godliness; And to godliness brotherly kindness; and to brotherly kindness charity.

For if these things be in you, and abound, they make you that ye shall neither be barren nor unfruitful in the knowledge of our Lord Jesus Christ”(2Peter 1:5-8).

Jesus is the LIGHT of the world.

Stay connected with Jesus Christ, the Word, the Spirit of God,  the Way, the Truth and the Life. The only one whom the fullness of God the Father dwells.

Dearly Beloved

Blessed new day that the Lord has made; we shall rejoice and be glad in it.

We need to constantly build up our knowledge if we want to be victorious in life. There are levels of knowledge: knowledge of material or physical things; knowledge of mental, emotional and psychological things ; spiritual knowledge. There is the need to balance these three levels of knowledge. Unfortunately, many people out there, holding ‘high positions’ in the world are lacking in spiritual knowledge, even among Christians. Prophet Hosea revealed:

“My people are destroyed for lack of knowledge: because thou hast rejected knowledge, I will also reject thee, that thou shalt be no priest to me: seeing thou hast forgotten the law of thy God, I will also forget thy children” ( Hosea 4:6).

The main reason why people are carelessly killing one another in the name of religious differences is because they lack knowledge. Increasing knowledge, especially the knowledge of truth, and the application of the knowledge leads to wisdom; the more wisdom one has, the more understanding he or she has in life . No wonder the Psalmist prayed: “…give me understanding and I shall live” ( Psalm 119:144).

Even if you have made up your mind NOT to follow Jesus Christ, as you go through life, show love to one another. Be kind, sincere, faithful, open, honest, transparent, diligent and passionate about whatever ever good task you are opportune to undertake, and you will be amazed how much God will reward you.

It’s dangerous for the soul to be without knowledge, especially knowledge of the truth.

Stay connected with Jesus Christ, the Word, the Spirit of God, the Way, the Truth and the Life. The only one whom the fullness of God the Father dwells.

Word for Today: Be hungry & thirsty for Righteousness.

“Blessed are they which do hunger and thirst after righteousness: for they shall be filled” ( Matthew 5:6).

Dearly Beloved

Happy Sunday to the great family of God in Christ Jesus worldwide.

Are you hungry and thirsty for the righteousness in the word of God. How passionate are you for righteousness in the word of God. You can only be filled to the level of your hunger and thirst.

Without the word of God dwelling in your heart and spirit your Christianity becomes a mere empty religion. Some Christian’s heart are empty because they have refused to spend sufficient time before the Lord. Be hungry and thirsty for the word of God:

“Let the word of Christ dwell in you richly in all wisdom; teaching and admonishing one another in psalms and hymns and spiritual songs, singing with grace in your hearts to the Lord” (Colossians 3:16).

I pray that henceforth, righteousness in the word of God shall be your watch word:

“He that followeth after righteousness and mercy findeth life, righteousness, and honour” ( Proverbs 21:21).

“But thou, O man of God, flee these things; and follow after righteousness, godliness, faith, love, patience, meekness” (1Timothy 6:11).

Yes, JESUS is the righteousness of God to a fallen humanity.
