Dearly Beloved
Happy weekend to the great family of God in Christ Jesus worldwide. Stay blessed in Jesus name. Amen.
Father, we bless your holy name. We adore you. We worship you. We honour you. There is none like you in goodness, grace holiness and mercy. We thank you for your compassion. We thank you for love. We thank you for life. We thank you for grace. We thank you for your faithfulness. We thank you for your mercy that has preserved us and kept us from being consumed. We thank you for guiding us thus far from January to September. We thank you in advance for the remaining part of 2018, because we know your light will shine powerfully all through the remaining part of the year by your grace. Father, accept our thanks in Jesus Precious Name. Amen.
Brethren, the Lord wants us to have more understanding of light the remaining part of of 2018. He wants us to enjoy abundance of light. If you are truly born again in Christ Jesus, you have no business with darkness and agents of darkness. Darkness is the opposite of light, just as death is the opposite of life. Sickness, disease, fear, doubt, unbelief, ignorance, poverty, sorrow, frustration, stagnation etc are all agents of darkness and death. They are agents of the thief whose sole aim is to steal, kill and to destroy . If you are a child of God by grace , you need spiritual understanding to overcome them so as to enjoy life abundantly ( John 10:10b).
In the very beginning, the very first words God spoke was to command light to come out of darkness, as per our memory verse ( Genesis 1:3). Prior to this, the earth was void, deformed, useless and in absolute darkness.
In the physical realm, without light we are helpless. There is not much we can do in utter darkness. It is the same in the spirit realm. There can be no light without FIRE. In the spirit realm, the fire is in the word of God ( Jeremiah 23:29). Sometimes, there is light but not bright enough, because the fire is not burning adequately. When Jesus was on earth, He introduced himself as the full light of the word:
” I am the light of the world: he that followeth me shall not walk in darkness, but shall have the light of life” ( John 8:12).
Jesus also revealed:
“As long as I am in the world, I am the light of the world” ( John 9:5).
By His annointing, those who truly follow Jesus are light of the world ( Matt 5:14). Jesus was conscious of the fact there are levels of light, hence He admonished us:
“Let your light so shine before men, that they may see your good works, and glorify your Father which is in heaven” ( Matt 5:16).
The scripture enables us to know that the word of God is light ( Psalm 119:130; Psalm 119:105). Apostle John in introducing Jesus as the Word of God at the beginning of his gospel stated:”In him was life; and the life was the light of men” (John 1:4).
The understanding we need to have as true born again Christians is that with the Word of God ( Jesus), there is no darkness at all:
“This then is the message which we have heard of him, and declare unto you, that God is light, and in him is no darkness at all” ( 1 John 1:5).
If only our spiritual eyes were opened to see the agents of darkness sitting next to us, with ulterior motive, in most of the fellowship programmes we attend, we would be a lot more careful with our words and actions. Believe me, I stand on the authority of the word of God, there are many agents of darkness in the church. Unfortunately, many are not exposed because of lack of fire, in other words, the light is not shining enough.
Be mindful of who lays hand on your head.
Never forget, just as Satan is very deceptive, there are many deceptive ministers of God around you. Apostle Paul warns us:
“And no marvel; for Satan himself is transformed into an angel of light.
Therefore it is no great thing if his ministers also be transformed as the ministers of righteousness; whose end shall be according to their works” (2 Corinthians 11:14-15)
Ask God for the spirit of discernment. Learn to spend time with the Word and to communicate with Him personally. Don’t remain in darkness. Jesus Himself said:
“And this is the condemnation, that light is come into the world, and men loved darkness rather than light, because their deeds were evil” (John 3:19).
Darkness can never withstand light. Light and darkness are no friends. Do not allow any trace of darkness to interfere with your destiny on earth. I encourage you to seek spiritual understanding.
Stay connected with Jesus Christ, the Word, the Spirit of God, the Way, the Truth and the Life. The only one whom the fullness of God the Father dwells.
“Jesus Christ the same yesterday, and to day, and for ever “(Hebrews 13:8).

To every reader of this message, henceforth, let there be light in your body, soul, spirit, family, ministry, work place, society, nation etc in Jesus Mighty Name. Amen. Have faith in God. Activate your faith (Mark 9:23).
