“No discipline seems pleasant at the time, but painful. Later on, however, it produces a harvest of righteousness and peace for those who have been trained by it” ( Hebrews 12:11, NIV).

Dearly Beloved

Train yourself to be disciplined. Training in discipline is not easy, but it carries a great reward. The parents have to be disciplined to be able to train their children to be disciplined. Our memory verse reminds us that discipline is not usually pleasant. For example, within the church, in the area food/eating, there are pastors who eat or take breakfast before they go to preach on Sundays. They can’t just control their appetite. There Christians who cannot resist food and drink when in a gathering, especially when it’s free. I often focus my search light on the church because the church is meant to be an embodiment of discipline, purity, honesty, righteousness, truth and power. But what do you see today? A brother posted message yesterday, asking where did we go wrong? These things have been prophesied years ago, we are in End Times. Am often amazed that people in the church get excited when they speak, dress, walk, dance and behave like people in the world. Ponder on it. Be spiritual.

Train yourself to be disciplined, so you can discipline your children and help to discipline others. The word of God is clear:

“Train up a child in the way he should go: and when he is old, he will not depart from it” ( Proverbs 22:6)

Discipline is not easy, but it pays! If you want to learn discipline, learn JESUS .

Stay connected to JESUS, the Word. Be knowledgeable, wise and discipline. Be enlightened.

Become a DISCIPLE, AMBASSADOR and a MISSIONARY for Jesus Christ henceforth.

Have a blessed new day of our Lord.

Ensure you think no evil against anyone.

Be merciful and compassionate to one another.

Be sensitive to the Holy Spirit. Get enrolled in the Ministry Of the Word university, and learn Christ and His Holy Spirit.

Prayer Point:

Our Father and our God, please give us the grace to of discipline in Jesus mighty name. Amen.

Use your mouth to war against Unrighteousness

“Righteousness exalteth a nation: but sin is a reproach to any people” ( Proverbs 14:34).

Dearly Beloved

In the world today, unrighteousness has become the order of the day. Look around where you live, on television, radio, print media, you see unrighteousness and evil activities every where. Please, do NOT keep your mouth shut and watch unrighteousness thrive. It is often said that evil thrives when good people do nothing .

Your mouth has been given to you as a powerful spiritual weapon. The word of God has been given you as the sword of the Spirit. War a good warfare with your mouth. Christianity is a spiritual warfare. No longer remain in ignorance. Let’s follow the examples of the One we are following:

“And he was clothed with a vesture dipped in blood: and his name is called The Word of God. And the armies which were in heaven followed him upon white horses, clothed in fine linen, white and clean. And out of his mouth goeth a sharp sword, that with it he should smite the nations: and he shall rule them with a rod of iron: and he treadeth the winepress of the fierceness and wrath of Almighty God” ( Revelation 19:13-15 ).

Let us be united in the battle. He promised that he will never leave us nor forsake us. He says:

“For I will give you a mouth and wisdom, which all your adversaries shall not be able to gainsay nor resist” (Luke 21:15).

Make use of your mouth. Ask God to bring his righteousness to the church, all over the world. Ask God to flush out all those hiding in the church to do evil anyway in the world in Jesus name. Amen

Have a blessed day in Jesus Name. Amen

Prayer Point

Father, please give us the grace to love righteousness and hate iniquities everywhere we go and to make good use of the mouth and wisdom you have given to us in Jesus mighty name. Amen.

Thank you Jesus for the righteousness in your word. Blood of Jesus.

Word for Today: Is Life really vanity?

“Vanity of vanities, saith the Preacher, vanity of vanities; all is vanity” (Ecclesiastes 1:2)

Dearly Beloved

The greatest man that ever lived at the time, king Solomon, known to be the wisest man at time said life is ‘vanity upon vanity ‘. He had this to say in verse 14:

“I have seen all the works that are done under the sun; and, behold, all is vanity and vexation of spirit” (Ecclesiastes 1:14).

A young person may wonder , if someone as wise as Solomon had the revelation that the entire life is vanity, why does he or she need to struggle?

Truly life without Jesus Christ, the Truth , is vanity upon vanity. Life without Jesus is full of crisis, regret and sadness, irrespective of qualifications, titles, and positions. It will eventually lead to hell, with regard to eternity.

However, life in Christ Jesus is NOT vanity upon vanity. Though Jesus was aware that he is of the genealogy of Solomon, he described Himself as someone ‘greater than Solomon’. Jesus revealed:

“The queen of the south shall rise up in the judgment with this generation, and shall condemn it: for she came from the uttermost parts of the earth to hear the wisdom of Solomon; and, behold, a greater than Solomon is here” ( Matthew 12:42).

Unfortunately, many ‘great’ preachers of our time have MIXED the message of the Old Testament with the New Testament. Jesus Christ is the beginning and the end of the law. He is the embodiment of the Old Testament and New Testament. I expect ‘Christians’ to be his true followers, by doing what he was doing while on earth.

There is no wisdom outside of Jesus Christ. He is the Way, the truth and the life. He is the only true source of wisdom.

In Christ Jesus, life is NOT vanity. He came that we may have life in abundance ( John 10:10b).

Stay connected with JESUS, the Word. He is the Way , the Truth and the Life.

Blood of Jesus. Thank you Jesus for your grace of abundant life.
