Word for Today: SEEING and ENTERING the kingdom of God.

Word for Today:

SEEING and ENTERING the kingdom of God.

Ministry Of the Word (MOW): True Spirituality (TS).

Memory Verse

“Jesus answered, Verily, verily, I say unto thee, Except a man be born of water and of the Spirit, he cannot enter into the kingdom of God” ( John 3:5).

Dearly Beloved

Jesus is Lord ( Philippians 2:11).

Jesus Christ has enabled us to understand that there is a big difference between SEEING the kingdom of God and ENTERING the kingdom of God. Accepting JESUS CHRIST as your Lord and Saviour is the very beginning of what could be a long journey. There is no other name whereby a man could be saved:

“Jesus answered and said unto him, Verily, verily, I say unto thee, Except a man be born again, he cannot see the kingdom of God” (John 3:3). After accepting Jesus as your Lord and Saviour, you need to be born of water (water baptism) and of the Holy Spirit ( Spirit baptism), before you can enter the kingdom of God.

Remember the rich man who died and went to hell, how he desperately cried for help from Abraham, saying:

“And he cried and said, Father Abraham, have mercy on me, and send Lazarus, that he may dip the tip of his finger in water, and cool my tongue; for I am tormented in this flame” (Luke 16:24). You can read the whole story in the book of Luke 16:19-31. The rich man saw the kingdom of God but he could NOT enter into it despite his appeal.

Beloved, looking at events in the world today, time is running out. Accept Jesus Christ as your Lord and Saviour before it becomes too late.

Time is running out!

Don’t remain in spiritual ignorance for ever. Only the Son of God( the Truth) can set you free indeed ( John 8:36).

Be knowledgeable. Be wise. Be enlightened. Stay connected to JESUS, the Word of God.

Prayer Point

Dear Father, please give us the grace of spiritual understanding in Jesus Precious name. Amen

Blood of Jesus! Blood of Jesus!

Thank you Jesus for the season.

Yours in the Vineyard of Christ.

Word for Today: Shine Light for Others to See.

Word for Today:

Shine Light for Others to See.

Ministry Of the Word (MOW): True Spirituality (TS).

Memory Verse

“Then spake Jesus again unto them, saying, I am the light of the world: he that followeth me shall not walk in darkness, but shall have the light of life”(John 8:12).

Dearly Beloved

Happy Easter Monday.

In the gospel according to John, Jesus introduced himself as the LIGHT of the world as per our memory verse. Again, in the same gospel, for emphasis, Jesus re-affirmed His essence as the LIGHT of the world, saying: “As long as I am in the world, I am the light of the world”(John 9:5).

Jesus came as the light of the world, because he is the Word of God (John 1:1). The scripture says:  In him was life; and the life was the light of men (John 1:4). While on earth, Jesus was on FIRE for the kingdom of God. Hence, true believers should be on fire for the kingdom of God. This is very important, because, just as you cannot have light without fire in the physical realm, there is no light without fire in the spirit realm. That fire is in the word of God. Hence, prophet Jeremiah states:  Is not my word like as a fire? saith the LORD; and like a hammer that breaketh the rock in pieces? (Jer 23:29). If you are lukewarm, God says: “I will spue thee out of my mouth” (Rev 3:16).

On account of love, Jesus extended His empowerment to those who would totally believe in him, and diligently obey him (Acts 1:8); those who would diligently do the will of his Father through him. These are the people he called his friends: “Ye are my friends, if ye do whatsoever I command you”(John 15:14). These are the people Jesus referred to as the light of the world, according to our memory verse. Jesus then went further to counsel: “Let your light so shine before men, that they may see your good works, and glorify your Father which is in heaven” (Matt 5:16).

The big question is: What does it mean for friends of Jesus to be the light of the world? Is the world in darkness? What about the presence of constant electricity in some developed countries, that has made the night time almost as bright as day? The truth is, spiritually speaking, the entire world is in darkness. This not a physical or mental darkness.

In line with human understanding, in broad terms, there are three types of light: physical light(eg electricity); mental light(we know from human science that the eye centre for vision is located in the part of the brain called occipital lobe, at the back of the brain  and that damage to this centre or the visual pathway, would result in blindness); and the spiritual light (this is the light that emanates from the entrance of the word of God). Hence, the Psalmist says: The entrance of thy words giveth light; it giveth understanding unto the simple (Ps 119:130).

It is very important to have the understanding that true believers are  the spiritual light of the world ( Matthew 5:14). Not physical light , not mere mental light, though there is an overlap between these three. Without the word of God dwelling in a believer’s heart, soul, and spirit such believer has no light in his spirit, hence can never be the light of the world, despite his calling Jesus Lord and Saviour. The words of God are spirit and life (John 6:63). When the king of Syria sent a detachment of well armed military to arrest Elisha, and Elisha’s servant saw and was afraid, Elisha quickly sent prayer to heaven and God opened his servant’s spiritual eye (gave him spiritual light) and he was relaxed as he saw that they were secured: “he saw behold, the mountain was full of horses and chariots of fire round about Elisha” (2Kings 6:17).

This then is the message which we have heard of him, and declare unto you, that God is light, and in him is no darkness at all (1John 1:5).

Be knowledgeable. Be wise. Be enlightened. Stay connected to the Word .

Keep your thoughts & mind positive.

Be sensitive to the Holy Spirit.

Be compassionate, merciful and kind to one another.

Prayer Point

Dear Father, we pray for everyone sincerely connected to your Word, that he or she receives the grace to be truth light in this world of darkness in Jesus precious name. Amen.

Blood of Jesus. Blood of Jesus.

Thank you Jesus for making me a light of the world.

Word for Today: The STORMS are over-He is risen.

Word for Today:

The STORMS are over: He is risen!

Ministry Of the Word (MOW): True Spirituality (TS).

Memory Verse

“He is not here: for he is risen, as he said. Come, see the place where the Lord lay” (Matthew 28:6).

Dearly Beloved

Happy Easter to EVERYONE both believers and unbelievers.

The storm is over. JESUS is risen. Hallelujah!

“Then went in also that other disciple, which came first to the sepulchre, and he saw, and believed. For as yet they knew not the scripture, that he must rise again from the dead” (John 20:8-9).

We bless the name of the LORD, Jesus has resurrected. Wicked people doubted His resurrection and such doubts have persisted until today largely based on ignorance. Thank God that Jesus still loves the unbelievers. Believing in the resurrection of Christ is very vital to your life on earth and eternally. Jesus submitted:

“Jesus said unto her, I am the resurrection, and the life: he that believeth in me, though he were dead, yet shall he live” (John 11:25).

Brethren, the power that resurrected Jesus from the grave was extraordinary. As anointed and knowledgeable as Paul the apostle was, he desired to know more of that power. Hear him:

“That I may know him, and the power of his resurrection, and the fellowship of his sufferings, being made conformable unto his death” (Philippians 3:10).

We thank God Jesus is alive for ever:

“I am he that liveth, and was dead; and, behold, I am alive for evermore, Amen; and have the keys of hell and of death”

(Revelation 1:18).

Don’t remain in spiritual ignorance for ever. Consider your life on earth. Consider what happens to your soul when you leave this world. You have a choice today to accept Jesus Christ as your Lord and Saviour. The responsibility is yours.

Be knowledgeable. Be wise. Be enlightened. Stay connected to JESUS, the Word of God.

Prayer Point

Thank you Father for the power that resurrected Jesus Christ from the grave. Thank you that Jesus is risen.

Blood of Jesus! Blood of Jesus!

Thank you Jesus that Sunday is here. Jesus is risen as He said. Praise God! Hallelujah!

Happy NEW MONTH.

Yours in the Vineyard of Christ.

Word for Today: The word of God cleanses.

Word for Today:

The word of God cleanses.

Ministry Of the Word (MOW): True Spirituality (TS).

Memory Verse

“Now ye are clean through the word which I have spoken unto you” ( John 15:3).

Dearly Beloved

A very good morning to the great men and women of God all over the world. Let’s praise God for the new day He has made.

Jesus Christ, the greatest authority, is the one speaking in our memory verse. He said, now ye are clean through the word I have spoken to you.

Brethren, the word of God cleanses us spiritually. Meaning that without the word of God everyone is spiritually dirty, no matter the level of education and qualifications. Speaking and practicing the word of God is NOT merely a mental exercise; we need the help of the Holy Spirit in Christ Jesus.

It’s easy to recognise physical dirt. We can sense mental dirtiness from the thoughts and speech of a person. However, it may not be so easy to know that a person is spiritually unclean except with the help of the Holy Spirit.

Be clean spiritually. Be purified. Be sanctified by embracing the truth in God’s word. The truth in the word of God sanctifies. Jesus Christ prayed for all believers:

“Sanctify them through thy truth: thy word is truth” ( John 17:17).

Don’t remain in ignorance for ever.

Be knowledgeable. Be wise. Be enlightened. Stay connected to the Word .

Happy Easter season.

Keep your thoughts & mind positive/healthy.

Be sensitive to the Holy Spirit.

Be compassionate, merciful and kind to one another.

Prayer Point

Dear Father, we pray for everyone sincerely connected to your Word, that he or she be clean and sanctified through your word in Jesus precious name. Amen.

Blood of Jesus! Blood of Jesus!

Thank you Jesus for the truth in your word which cleans and sanctifies.

Yours in the Vineyard of Christ.
