Improving Our Spiritual Understanding.

Memory Verse:

“For what shall it profit a man, if he shall gain the whole world, and lose his own soul?

Or what shall a man give in exchange for his soul?” ( Mark 8:36-37).

Dearly Beloved

Nothing in this world is worth your soul! There is absolutely nothing you can exchange for your soul.

You may be very rich materially or a very powerful political leader, have you considered where you will spend eternity when you leave this world?

No man is immortal. One day your divine Maker will call you home. Your Maker will demand account of your stewardship while on earth. What will you tell him about JESUS?

“And as it is appointed unto men once to die, but after this the judgment:

So Christ was once offered to bear the sins of many; and unto them that look for him shall he appear the second time without sin unto salvation” (Hebrews 9:27-28).

Please, do not spend your time on earth chasing things with no eternal value. Be hungry for heavenly things. Time waits for no one. Be spiritual:

“But he that is spiritual judgeth all things, yet he himself is judged of no man” (1Corinthians 2:15).

The spiritual power you need to prevail in this world of sin can only be found in Jesus:

“Behold, I give unto you power to tread on serpents and scorpions, and over all the power of the enemy: and nothing shall by any means hurt you” (Luke 10:19).

Spend time to nourish your spirit and your soul with the word of God.

To grow spiritually requires daily meditation with the word of God (Joshua 1:8) and seeking first the kingdom of God and its righteousness (Matthew 6:33).

Stay connected to JESUS, the Word. Be wise. Be enlightened.

Become a DISCIPLE , an AMBASSADOR and a MISSIONARY for Jesus Christ as you set out for the day.

Ensure you think no evil against anyone.

Be sensitive to the Holy Spirit.

Be compassionate and kind to one another.

Thank you JESUS for giving me a new day but more importantly for the SALVATION of my soul.

Dearly Beloved

In Christ Jesus, our God loves principles. I often wonder why some Christians are so much in a hurry, acting like those who have no faith. It is wisdom to pay complete attention to divine details.

Sufficiently meditate on the word of God of God, and follow divine principles and your prosperity will flow like a river. As far as God is concerned, there must be SEED time, before HARVEST time. Don’t look for ‘microwave’ solution to every problem. Many, people run away from farming because of the long harvest time, despite reading in the Bible that Isaac sowed in the land and God caused him to prosper greatly the same year ( Genesis 26:12).

“While the earth remaineth, seedtime and harvest, and cold and heat, and summer and winter, and day and night shall not cease” ( Genesis 8:22).

“Wisdom is the principal thing; therefore get wisdom: and with all thy getting get understanding” (Proverbs 4:7).

Jesus Christ, the Word of God, is the power of God and the wisdom of God (1Corinthian 1:24).

Be bold and courageous. Stay connected to JESUS, the Word of God in 2018. Be wise. Be enlightened.

Become a DISCIPLE , AMBASSADOR and a MISSIONARY for Jesus Christ as you go about your duties. Keep your focus on goodness and righteousness.

Word for Today: Let’s Emulate the perfection of Christ.

“Be ye therefore perfect, even as your Father which is in heaven is perfect” ( Matthew 5:48).

Dearly Beloved

Let us emulate the perfection and the lifestyle of Jesus Christ while on earth and all will be well. Jesus had all powers, yet he was extremely, humble ( Philippians 2:8).

Brethren, Christianity without imbibing the divine nature of Jesus Christ is an empty religion. He is the Word of God (John 1:1). He is the Way, the Truth and the Life(John 14: 6). He is ONE with His Father (John 10:30). In Him, we have oneness with the Father(John 17:21). In Him, we live, move and have our being (Acts 17:28).

What are some of the things Jesus has taught us to do?

To love God with ALL thy heart and with all thy soul, and with all thy mind (Matthew 22:37);

To love our neighbour as ourself (Mark 12:31);

To love your enemies, bless them that curse you, do good to them that hate you and pray for them which despitefully use you, and persecute you (Matthew 5:44);

Do unto others as you want others to do for you (Matthew 7:12);

If your enemy is hungry, give him food( Rm 12:20);

To move mountains with our faith( Mark 11:23);

To always persist and persevere with faith and with prayer, no matter the challenges (Luke 18:1-8).

Receive the grace to emulate Christ in Jesus mighty name. Amen.

Please, get hungry and thirsty for the word of God, the wisdom of God and the Holy Spirit.

Word for Today: Your Greatest Defence is Wisdom .

“For wisdom is a defence, and money is a defence: but the excellency of knowledge is, that wisdom giveth life to them that have it” ( Ecclesiastes 7:12).

Dearly Beloved

“Wisdom is the principal thing; therefore get wisdom: and with all thy getting get understanding” (Proverbs 4:7).

Brethren, money cannot buy heavenly wisdom. Wisdom is your greatest defence in life, far more excellent than material things. True wisdom is the greatest asset and is only in the word of God. Do not spend all your time chasing things that will fail you.

Jesus Christ, the Word of God, is the power of God and the wisdom of God (1Corinthian 1:24).

Do the will God and you will receive divine wisdom:

“For God giveth to a man that is good in his sight wisdom, and knowledge, and joy: but to the sinner he giveth travail, to gather and to heap up, that he may give to him that is good before God. This also is vanity and vexation of spirit” ( (Ecclesiastes 2:26).
