Word for Today: Are you a son in the kingdom?

Word for Today:

Are you a son in the kingdom?

Ministry of the Word-True Spirituality

Memory Verse

“For the earnest expectation of the creature waiteth for the manifestation of the sons of God” (Romans 8:19).

Beloved

Many Christians need to have increasing understanding of their sonship with the Lord. Are you a son in the kingdom of God? Have you experienced the transformation by the power of the Holy Spirit? Remember, a child is born but a son is given (Isaiah 9:6).

Be transformed by the renewing of your mind ( Romans 12:2). This happens as you continue to behold the Lord (2Corinthians 3:18).

As many as received Jesus Christ are GIVEN POWER to become sons of the kingdom of God ( John 1:12).

Heaven and earth await your manifestation.

The time for your manifestation is NOW.

Have a Spirit-filled week

Thank you Jesus.

Prayer

Father, we thank you for your words that have kept us alive. Please, help us to be manifested as sons of the kingdom of God in Jesus mighty name. Amen

Yours in the Vineyard of Christ.

Word for Today: Perseverance is important.

Word for Today:

Perseverance is important.

Ministry of the Word-True Spirituality

Memory Verse

“We are troubled on every side, yet not distressed; we are perplexed, but not in despair; Persecuted, but not forsaken; cast down, but not destroyed; Always bearing about in the body the dying of the Lord Jesus, that the life also of Jesus might be made manifest in our body”(2Corinthians 4:8-10)

Beloved

You have to learn the attribute of perseverance.

The trials and challenges you go through in life are for your own good. Have faith in the word of God. For example, before Joseph became a Prime Minister in Egypt, he needed to pass through the ‘pit’ and ‘prison’. The secret of his victory was his faith in the God of righteousness and having the right attitude.

Many Christians may not know that the man who wrote about two third of the New Testament, apostle Paul, wrote a large chunk of it while in prison. Instead of complaining, grumbling and murmuring, he persevered and maintained the right attitude. Hear him:

“We are troubled on every side, yet not distressed; we are perplexed, but not in despair; Persecuted, but not forsaken; cast down, but not destroyed; Always bearing about in the body the dying of the Lord Jesus, that the life also of Jesus might be made manifest in our body”(2Corinthians 4:8-10)

What about Jesus Christ Himself? Can you imagine what he went through on earth? This might explain why there is a mixture of love, joy, peace, long suffering etc within the fruit of the Spirit ( Galatians 5:22)).

Henceforth, no matter what you going through, no more grumbling. No more complaining, rather focus on the righteousness of God in Christ Jesus. Remember that as you have spoken, so the Lord will do for you (Numbers 14:28).

Have a Spirit-filled new week

Thank you Jesus.

Prayer

Father, we thank you for your words that have kept us alive. Please, help us to learn perseverance in life in Jesus mighty name. Amen

Yours in the Vineyard of Christ.

Word for Today:The Simplicity of the gospel can easily be mistaken.

Word for Today: The Simplicity of the gospel can easily be mistaken.

Improving Our Spiritual Understanding

Ministry of the Word (MOW): True Spirituality

Memory Verse:

But I fear, lest by any means, as the serpent beguiled Eve through his subtilty, so your minds should be corrupted from the simplicity that is in Christ” (2Corinthian 11:3)

Dearly Beloved

Spirit-filled Sunday to you all.

The Bible is the embodiment of the the word of God. It is the oldest book, yet the most current book in truth and facts. In the very beginning was the Word. The Word was with God and the Word was God ( John 1:1)

The New Testament in particular, reveals to us the “the mind of Christ” (1Corinthians 2:16). The mind of Christ is an embodiment of the mind of knowledge, wisdom, understanding, power, peace, joy, compassion, care, humility, patience, diligence, faith and above all, love. Why would anyone choose something less? Do you want peace, joy, love etc, then truly embrace Jesus Christ but not merely in a religious sense but rather spiritually.

In the course of my training and work, I have met and read about a number of intellectuals who mistake the simplicity of the gospel, but they paid dearly for it . Some people expected the gospel to be presented in a much more complex way. The truth is that God is not a talkative. For example, God lists out series of blessings in Deuteronomy 28:1-14, but these blessings will not come unless we ‘hearken diligently’ to all His commandments (Deuteronomy 28:1). Many people in the church hearken to God’s commandments but NOT diligently. They tend to forget that ‘ to obey is better than sacrifice ‘ (1Sam 15:22). Some people even give preference to church activities over the word of God.

As our memory verse warn, many people have been corrupted by the simplicity of the Word of God. The gospel is not merely in word but in power(1Cor 4:20). If you have received Jesus Christ into your heart, people want to see the POWER of God working through you. Power is the ability to do work. Whatever work you do by calling, the power of God can flow through you. You do not need to be in the health profession like some of us are, before the healing power of Almighty God in Christ Jesus, flows through you to others ( Mark 16:17-18). I have seen many lazy Christians in the body of Christ, yet they wonder why they are not prospering. All you keep hearing from them is ‘I don’t have a job’. What a level of ignorance! Christianity is not just about praying 24 hours in a lazy way. Christianity is prayer at work (John 5:17). Ignorance by Christians has made many to be under evil manipulation by self-centred people in the name of a leading a ‘church’.

The gospel may appear simplistic but please, learn to pay attention to details if you want God to prosper you. Diligence is a very key factor to pleasing God ( Hebrews 11:6; Proverbs 22:29).

The gospel has been given to every man to prosper. Please, never mistake the simplicity of the gospel rather learn to pay attention to details.

For the preaching of the cross is to them that perish foolishness; but unto us which are saved it is the power of God”(1Corinthians 1:18).

Thank you Jesus.

Prayer

Father, we thank you for your words that have kept us alive. Please, help us not to mistake the simplicity in the gospel in Jesus. Amen

To grow spiritually requires daily meditation with the word of God (Joshua 1:8) and seeking first the kingdom of God and its righteousness (Matthew 6:33).

Word for Today: Unrighteousness leads to oppression.

Word for Today:

Unrighteousness leads to oppression .

Ministry of the Word-True Spirituality

Memory Verse

“In righteousness shalt thou be established: thou shalt be far from oppression; for thou shalt not fear: and from terror; for it shall not come near thee” ( Isaiah 54:14).

Beloved

Let’s be prayerful and focus on a life of righteousness in Christ Jesus because God hates unrighteousness. Reading the Bible and obedience to the word of God is righteousness. Disobedience to the word of God is unrighteousness. Unrighteousness is a form of oppression; it brings fear, terror and bondage.

Be bold with the word of God:

“The wicked flee when no man pursueth: but the righteous are bold as a lion” (Proverbs 28:1).

Enjoy the righteousness of God.

Our righteousness is of Christ.

Have a Spirit-filled weekend.

Thank you Jesus.

Prayer

Father, we thank you for your words that have kept us alive. Please, help us to live a life of righteousness in your word in Jesus name. Amen
