Memory Verse :

“Behold, I give unto you power to tread on serpents and scorpions, and over all the power of the enemy: and nothing shall by any means hurt you” ( Luke 10:19).
Beloved

You may not appreciate this, in Christ Jesus, God has given us so much powers. Certain challenges will arise in the life of Christian just to build up and strengthen the fellow. Lack of spiritual understanding is indeed a major issue in the church. If you carry the power of God in Christ Jesus, you cannot run from witches and wizards or demonic forces. There is no power comparable to power of the true God in Christ Jesus. Indeed, power passes power!

The empowerment is for the promotion of the word of God (witnessing Christ) and for the destruction of the works of the devil. To win the war of life, every believer requires empowerment of the Holy Spirit: 
“But ye shall receive power, after that the Holy Ghost is come upon you: and ye shall be witnesses unto me both in Jerusalem, and in all Judaea, and in Samaria, and unto the uttermost part of the earth” (Acts 1:8).

Whether you believe me or not, life is a battle. Everyone fights the various battles of life, whether you believe in God or not. As spiritual Christians, let us go about our duties with the consciousness of the fact that we are at war at all times-at our places of work, in our families, in our ministries, within our communities, in the church etc. We must also be conscious of the fact the war we are called to fight is spiritual, not physical. “For we wrestles not against flesh and blood” (Ephesians 6:12).

The weapons of our warfare are the words of our mouth! Jesus has given us “a mouth and wisdom…” ( Luke 21:15). We are admonished to make effective use of our mouth in order to fight a good warfare. Make use of the sword of the Spirit, which is the word of God.
 
Apostle Paul admonished his spiritual son, Timothy:
“This charge I commit unto thee, son Timothy, according to the prophecies which went before on thee, that thou by them mightest war a good warfare” (1Tim 1:18)

We praise God in Christ for bringing us to the last but one day in the month of perfection, in the year of perfection.

“through knowledge shall the just be delivered” (Proverbs 11:9).

To grow spiritually requires daily meditation with the word of God (Joshua 1:8) and seeking first the kingdom of God and its righteousness (Matthew 6:33). It also requires total fear of God, and spiritual training in the word of God: “Train yourself to be godly”(1Tim 4:7-8 NIV).

  

PRAYERS:

There is someone reading this message , may you receive the grace to make use of the power in the word of God in Jesus mighty name, Amen.
Father, we pray that righteousness be established in your church; let the FIRE of Holy Ghost be rekindled in our different nations all over the world in Jesus precious name. Amen.  
Father, please continue to expose every act of hypocrisy, pretence and evil in our societies and bring the perpetrators to shame in Jesus mighty name. Amen.

Memory Verse 

“But upon mount Zion shall be deliverance, and there shall be holiness; and the house of Jacob shall possess their possessions” ( Obadiah 1:17)

Beloved

We all need complete deliverance before we can live holy. We need holiness to tap into divine abundance. Everyone fights the various battles of life, whether you believe in God or not. 
Some Christians will ignorantly say that they don’t need deliverance. Everyone needs deliverance. At least, we need deliverance from doubt, unhealthy thoughts and lack of zeal for heavenly things.

What we need most in the house of God today is knowledge:

“Also, that the soul be without knowledge, it is not good; and he that hasteth with his feet sinneth” (Proverbs 19:2).

In Christ, God’s desire for us is to enjoy all round prosperity (3John 2).

“And they overcame him by the blood of the Lamb, and by the word of their testimony; and they loved not their lives unto the death” (Revelation 12:11).

Beloved

There is power mighty in the blood of Jesus. If there is one prayer point you have to pray every day, let it be the blood of Jesus. Whether, you believe it or not, there is deliverance, freedom, healing, sanctification and power in the blood of Jesus. 
I have to admit that a natural man cannot understand why such simple phrase as: ‘Blood of Jesus’, is loaded with so much powers. We overcome the devil and his cohorts with the blood of Jesus. The blood of Jesus delivers/set free; the blood of Jesus cleanses; the blood of Jesus empowers; the blood of Jesus speaks .
Whether you believe me or not, life is a battle. Everyone fights the various battles of life, whether you believe in God or not. 
The word of God says : “my people are gone into captivity, because they have no knowledge” (Isaiah 5:13).

Jesus Christ is the Captain of the army of heaven. He rides in a white horse. His names include: “Faithful and True and in Righteousness he doth judge and make war” (Rev 19:11), and “his name is called The Word of God” (verse 13). He wages war with sword from his mouth: “And out of his mouth goeth a sharp sword, that with it he should smite the nations…”(Rev 19:15).
Every true believer is a soldier of the cross. But, “the weapons of our warfare are not carnal..” (2Cor 10:4).  

Every day, plead the Blood of Jesus on yourself, your family, your neighbourhood, your place of work, the church and your nations.

Blood of Jesus! Blood of Jesus! Blood of Jesus!

“Greater love hath no man than this, that a man lay down his life for his friends” (John 15:13)

Beloved 

Truly, no man can fully understand God’s nature of love in Christ Jesus. If a man should agree to die instead of his friend, the man would be said to have demonstrated genuine love. But what of when a man agrees to die instead of his enemy? The bible says:
“But God commendeth his love toward us, in that, while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us” (Romans 5:8).
Truly, the nature of the love of God is difficult to fathom:
“No man hath seen God at any time. If we love one another, God dwelleth in us, and his love is perfected in us” (1John 4:12).
Jesus Himself said:
“For whosoever shall give you a cup of water to drink in my name, because ye belong to Christ, verily I say unto you, he shall not lose his reward” (Mark 9:41).

“Behold, what manner of love the Father hath bestowed upon us, that we should be called the sons of God: therefore the world knoweth us not, because it knew him not” (1John 3:1)
Truly, God is love (1John 4:8)
Let’s show genuine love to one another
