Memory Verse 

“Nevertheless I tell you the truth; It is expedient for you that I go away: for if I go not away, the Comforter will not come unto you; but if I depart, I will send him unto you” (John 16:7).

Beloved 

As a Christian, if you have not yet been baptised with the Holy Spirit, humble yourself, go on your knees and cry to God in Christ Jesus to visit you with His Spirit. Without the help of the Holy Spirit , it is impossible to live an effective Christian life.
As per our memory verse, the Holy Spirit was a promise by Jesus Christ before He left the earth. He reminded His disciples:

“But ye shall receive power, after that the Holy Ghost is come upon you: and ye shall be witnesses unto me both in Jerusalem, and in all Judaea, and in Samaria, and unto the uttermost part of the earth” ( Acts 1:8). We know what happened at the Pentecost .
Without empowerment by the Holy Spirit, we can do nothing. Jesus Himself was conceived of the Holy Spirit. Remember ” How God anointed Jesus of Nazareth with the Holy Ghost and with power…”Acts 10:38.
The bible says:
“Howbeit when he, the Spirit of truth, is come, he will guide you into all truth: for he shall not speak of himself; but whatsoever he shall hear, that shall he speak: and he will shew you things to come” (John 16:13).

Remember, “Except a man be born of water and of the Spirit, he cannot enter into the kingdom of God” (John 3:5).

Receive ye the Holy Spirit.

To grow spiritually requires daily meditation with the word of God (Joshua 1:8) and seeking first the kingdom of God and its righteousness (Matthew 6:33). It also requires total fear of God, and spiritual training in the word of God: “Train yourself to be godly”(1Tim 4:7-8 NIV).

Prayer

Dear Father, please fill me to overflowing with your Holy Spirit in the mighty name of Jesus . Amen.

“The Lord gave the word: great was the company of those that published it” (Psalm 68:11).
 

Beloved

“He sent his word, and healed them, and delivered them from their destructions” (Psalm 107:20).
Those Christians that are not sharing the word of God with others , really don’t know what they are missing. The word of God sent prayerfully in faith by a person in Good Standing with God in Christ Jesus is as powerful as God Himself. He can never return to God void, as God cannot deny Himself:

“…So shall my word be that goeth forth out of my mouth: it shall not return unto me void, but it shall accomplish that which I please, and it shall prosper in the thing whereto I sent it” ( Isaiah 55:10-11).

A true Christian life is a life of integrity and total obedience to the Word. A life of example for others to emulate. Our Lord and Saviour says: “Ye are my friends, if ye do whatsoever I command you” (John 15:14). Sharing his words and publishing it is a primary commandment. Are you a friend of Jesus Christ?
I often wonder why Christians should dissipate so much time and energy complaining about what non Christians are doing or not doing, when they have ignorantly refused to make use of the freely given word of God. There is nothing that the word of God cannot accomplish. 
The word of God is God . The word of God is quick and powerful (Hebrews 4:12). You cannot have the word of God and be complaining. With God nothing is impossible.

“Let no man despise thy youth; but be thou an example of the believers, in word, in conversation, in charity, in spirit, in faith, in purity” (1Tim 4:12).

Please, get out of your spiritual slumber, and join the great company of publishers of the word of God. Share the word of God with others. God has given us his word, what are you doing with it?

Brethren, do you know that your life has been recreated in Christ Jesus to bring glory to God? Jesus Christ , before departing this world was able to remind His Father: I have brought you glory on earth. May your life bring glory to God in Jesus name.

Without you holding the written Bible, without you preaching the word of God, what are people seeing in your life? What about your dressing? What about your make up? What about the words you speak to others daily? What about your actions? Do they bring glory to God in Christ Jesus? The Word says:

“Ye are our epistle written in our hearts, known and read of all men” (2Corinthians 3:2).

Beloved, let’s glorify the king of glory with our thoughts, words, behaviour and every material item we possess on earth; this is the basis for our living :
“Even every one that is called by my name: for I have created him for my glory, I have formed him; yea, I have made him” (Isaiah 43:7).

Jesus Christ, before he left this world, was able to debrief His Father:
“I have glorified thee on the earth: I have finished the work which thou gavest me to do” ( John 17:4).

May your life bring glory to God in Jesus name, Amen.

“As soon as they hear of me, they shall obey me: the strangers shall submit themselves unto me. The strangers shall fade away, and be afraid out of their close places” ( Psalm 18:44-45).

Beloved 

Father, cause all my enemies to start running whenever they see from a distance, in Jesus Name. Amen. All enemies of my progress and fruitfulness, whether they are diseases, demons, spirits, principalities/powers or human agents , cause them to hear loud noises of horses and chariots and start running out of their hiding places in Jesus name. Amen.

Brethren , darkness is terrible. When there is darkness, a lot of terrible things happen. Stagnation, poverty, frustration, failure etc, all happen in darkness. You would notice that in darkness infective agents like cockroaches, rats, pests etc tend to come out and have a field day; however, as soon as you put on light, they run helter-skelter. They have to go into hiding. They are strangers in your house. So it is in the spirit realm.

In Christ Jesus, God has given us so much power to bind and loose. The word says:

“And I will give unto thee the keys of the kingdom of heaven: and whatsoever thou shalt bind on earth shall be bound in heaven: and whatsoever thou shalt loose on earth shall be loosed in heaven” (Matthew 16:19

In Christ Jesus, God expects us to release sharp sword with our mouth. Jesus was very zealous for the kingdom of God (John 2:17). When a Christian is in good standing with God, all His enemies go into hiding when they sight you because of what you carry( glorious light).

However, you are expected to make wise use of your mouth.
“And out of his mouth goeth a sharp sword, that with it he should smite the nations: and he shall rule them with a rod of iron: and he treadeth the winepress of the fierceness and wrath of Almighty God” ( Revelation 19:15)

“And from the days of John the Baptist until now the kingdom of heaven suffereth violence, and the violent take it by force” (Matthew 11:12).

Remain blessed in Jesus name. Amen
