Word for Today: Righteousness is the nature of our God.

Word for Today:

Righteousness is the nature of our God.

Ministry of the Word : True Spirituality

Improving Our Spiritual Understanding

Memory Verse

“In righteousness shalt thou be established: thou shalt be far from oppression; for thou shalt not fear: and from terror; for it shall not come near thee” (Isaiah 54:14).
Beloved

Righteousness is the nature of of our God in Christ Jesus. Anything you do for God or with God that is not based on righteousness means nothing to God. God will only accept things in accordance with His written word.
Many people in the church are carried away by church activities without focus on the righteousness of God. The eyes of God are too pure to behold iniquities ( Habakkuk 1:13). Righteousness is meditating on the word of God and putting it into practice . This should take priority in your life.
No man can ever be righteous on his own strength. There can be no true promotion without righteousness in Christ Jesus:

“For he hath made him to be sin for us, who knew no sin; that we might be made the righteousness of God in him” (2Corinthians 5:21).
“Righteousness exalteth a nation: but sin is a reproach to any people” (Proverbs 14:34).

To grow spiritually requires daily meditation with the word of God (Joshua 1:8) and seeking first the kingdom of God and its righteousness (Matthew 6:33). It also requires total fear of God, and spiritual training in the word of God: “Train yourself to be godly”(1Tim 4:7-8 NIV).

Prayer

Dear Father, please help us to focus on your righteousness as we praise you this season in the mighty name of Jesus . Amen.

Yours in the Vineyard of Christ.

Word for Today: Learn to wait patiently upon the LORD.

Word for Today:Learn to wait patiently upon the LORD.

Ministry of the Word : True Spirituality

Improving Our Spiritual Understanding

Memory Verse

“I waited patiently for the LORD; and he inclined unto me, and heard my cry.

He brought me up also out of an horrible pit, out of the miry clay, and set my feet upon a rock, and established my goings.

And he hath put a new song in my mouth, even praise unto our God: many shall see it, and fear, and shall trust in the LORD” (Psalm 40:1-3).
Beloved

No matter what your life circumstances may be, please, learn to wait upon the LORD. You may be in severe distress and you may be in tears, the LORD sees in secret. Learn to obey and honour the word of God completely without compromising the integrity of the word of God. God has never failed those who waited on Him, so yours cannot be different. God will surely honour His word in your life.
King David, the Psalmist revealed it all when he said:
“I have been young, and now am old; yet have I not seen the righteous forsaken, nor his seed begging bread” ( Psalm 37:25).

Stay with the word of God. Thank God for making His word available to you. There is nothing the word of God cannot do. No where the word of God cannot go:
“He sent his word, and healed them, and delivered them from their destructions” (Psalm 107:20).

Prayer

Dear Father, please give us the grace to learn to wait upon your Word as we continue to praise you this season in the mighty name of Jesus . Amen.

Yours in the Vineyard of Christ.

Word for Today: No compromise on perfection.

Word for Today:

No compromise on perfection.

Improving Our Spiritual Understanding

Memory Verse

“And when Abram was ninety years old and nine, the LORD appeared to Abram, and said unto him, I am the Almighty God; walk before me, and be thou perfect”(Genesis 1:17)
Beloved

As you continue to praise God and appreciate Him this season, remember to walk before Him and be perfect. In Christ Jesus, God does not compromise on perfection. Perfection was the secret of father Abraham’s friendship with God.

Jesus Himself was an embodiment of perfection on earth. No single blemish or trace of sin was found on Him while on earth; He Himself decided to carry the sin of the whole world in fulfilment of destiny.
Jesus admonished us:

“Be ye therefore perfect, even as your Father which is in heaven is perfect” (Matthew 5:48)

Stay away from sin. Be perfect in all your dealings.

“O give thanks unto the LORD, for he is good: for his mercy endureth for ever. Let the redeemed of the LORD say so, whom he hath redeemed from the hand of the enemy” (Psalm 107:1-2)

Prayer

Dear Father, please give us the grace of perfection as we continue to praise you this season in the mighty name of Jesus . Amen.

Memory Verse

“Oh that men would praise the LORD for his goodness, and for his wonderful works to the children of men! For he hath broken the gates of brass, and cut the bars of iron in sunder”(Psalm 107:15-16).

Beloved

No matter your circumstances or situations, have a thankful heart and keep praising God.

“Oh that men would praise the LORD for his goodness, and for his wonderful works to the children of men! And let them sacrifice the sacrifices of thanksgiving, and declare his works with rejoicing” (Psalm 107:21-22)

“O give thanks unto the LORD, for he is good: for his mercy endureth for ever. Let the redeemed of the LORD say so, whom he hath redeemed from the hand of the enemy” (Psalm 107:1-2)

Praise ye the LORD!
