Memory Verses

“For I say, through the grace given unto me, to every man that is among you, not to think of himself more highly than he ought to think; but to think soberly, according as God hath dealt to every man the measure of faith. For as we have many members in one body, and all members have not the same office: So we, being many, are one body in Christ, and every one members one of another. Having then gifts differing according to the grace that is given to us, whether prophecy, let us prophesy according to the proportion of faith; Or ministry, let us wait on our ministering: or he that teacheth, on teaching; Or he that exhorteth, on exhortation: he that giveth, let him do it with simplicity; he that ruleth, with diligence; he that sheweth mercy, with cheerfulness. Let love be without dissimulation. Abhor that which is evil; cleave to that which is good. Be kindly affectioned one to another with brotherly love; in honour preferring one another; Not slothful in business; fervent in spirit; serving the Lord; Rejoicing in hope; patient in tribulation; continuing instant in prayer; Distributing to the necessity of saints; given to hospitality. Bless them which persecute you: bless, and curse not. Rejoice with them that do rejoice, and weep with them that weep. Be of the same mind one toward another. Mind not high things, but condescend to men of low estate. Be not wise in your own conceits. Recompense to no man evil for evil. Provide things honest in the sight of all men. If it be possible, as much as lieth in you, live peaceably with all men. Dearly beloved, avenge not yourselves, but rather give place unto wrath: for it is written, Vengeance is mine; I will repay, saith the Lord. Therefore if thine enemy hunger, feed him; if he thirst, give him drink: for in so doing thou shalt heap coals of fire on his head. Be not overcome of evil, but overcome evil with good.” ‭‭Romans‬ ‭12:3-21‬ ‭KJV

Beloved

Please, let us meditate on the above scriptures today. May the God of grace in Christ Jesus give you increasing grace in all things in Jesus name. Amen.

To grow spiritually requires daily meditation with the word of God (Joshua 1:8) and seeking first the kingdom of God and its righteousness (Matthew 6:33). It also requires total fear of God, and spiritual training in the word of God: “Train yourself to be godly”(1Tim 4:7-8 NIV).

Prayer

Dear Father, we thank you for your grace which is always sufficient for us . We bless you LORD for a new day like this in Jesus mighty name. Amen.

Yours in the Vineyard of Christ.

Word for Today: Be careful with your words.

Word for Today:Be careful with your words.

Ministry Of the Word (MOW): True Spirituality

Improving our Spiritual Understanding

Memory Verse

“Death and life are in the power of the tongue: and they that love it shall eat the fruit thereof” ( Proverbs 18:21).
Beloved

In many places in the bible, the word of God in Christ Jesus admonishes us to be sensitive to our thoughts and words. A number of Christians, do not pay attention to their thoughts and words .
The words we speak basically are the product of our thoughts. What we focus our minds on for a long time, we tend to believe . I often tell my colleagues that when I listen to a person speaks for 30 minutes, I should have an idea of the type of person he/she is; I should have an idea of the nature of the challenges he/she is having and why the challenges started in the first place.
Your thoughts and your words are spirit. They are signals to the angelic world. They are either picked up by angels of light or angels of darkness ( evil spirits ). If you learn to speak word of life, you and your children shall live. To always speak the word of life, you need to fill your heart with the word of life. Jesus said:

“…for out of the abundance of the heart the mouth speaketh” ( Matthew 12:34).

Never forget that your personality is the sum total of your predominate thoughts and imaginations:

” For as he thinketh in his heart, so is he…” (Proverbs 23:7)

To grow spiritually requires daily meditation with the word of God (Joshua 1:8) and seeking first the kingdom of God and its righteousness (Matthew 6:33). It also requires total fear of God, and spiritual training in the word of God: “Train yourself to be godly”(1Tim 4:7-8 NIV).

Prayer

Dear Father, please give every sincere reader of this message the grace to be careful with his or her thoughts and words in Jesus mighty name. Amen.

Yours in the Vineyard of Christ.

Word for Today: Be conscious of your glorious oneness with God in Christ.

Word for Today:Be conscious of your glorious oneness with Christ.

Ministry Of the Word (MOW): True Spirituality

Improving our Spiritual Understanding

Memory Verse

“And the glory which thou gavest me I have given them; that they may be one, even as we are one: I in them, and thou in me, that they may be made perfect in one; and that the world may know that thou hast sent me, and hast loved them, as thou hast loved me” (John 17:22-23).

Beloved

In John chapter 17, Jesus Christ prayed earnestly for all true believers to be one with Him as He is one with His Father.

Without Jesus Christ, also called the Word (John 1:1), our lives can never be complete. The Scripture says: ‘And ye are complete in him, which is the head of all principality and power’ (Col 2:10).
In Christ Jesus, God wants all his children to be one with him in thoughts, words, actions and purpose. Jesus was completely one with his Father. He tells us that in the book of John, where He stated: ‘I and my Father are one’ (John 10:30).
The only thing that can prevent man becoming one with God in Christ is sin. The eyes of God are too pure to behold sin (Hab 1:13), in as much as He loves sinners.

We need to live daily with the consciousness of being one with Christ and enveloped in God’s glory. Jesus specifically prayed to His Father to achieve our oneness as revealed by apostle John:
“Neither pray I for these alone, but for them also which shall believe on me through their word; That they all may be one; as thou, Father, art in me, and I in thee, that they also may be one in us: that the world may believe that thou hast sent me” (John 17:20-21).

Prayer

Dear Father, thank you for making me ONE with you through your beloved Son Jesus Christ. It’s amazing that we share in your glory. Thank you Father, in Jesus mighty name. Amen.

Yours in the Vineyard of Christ.

MOW: Embrace the true source of light-by pastor Chris Ibia .

Ministry of the Word

Understanding True Spirituality

Theme:

Embrace the true source of light!
Memory Verse:

“As long as I am in the world, I am the light of the world”

(Jn.9: 5).

Beloved

The whole world are presently out of course.

Evil practices every where: killing and destructions are all over our national and international dailies.
But we can embrace light, (Jesus the Word) and abide in Him and escape the dictates of world (darkness).
The Scripture maintains thus:

“He that saith he is in the light, and hateth his brother, is in darkness even until now”

(1Jn.2:9).

The true source of light is Our Lord Jesus: and we can contact Him via surrendering whole heartedly to the dictates of His word.
Apostle John through the Spirit of God confirms thus:

“In him was life; and the life was the light of men.

And the light shineth in darkness; and the darkness comprehended it not”

(Jn.1:4-5).
This is obvious, the darkness can never rule over light.
The appearance of light guarantees the disappearance of darkness.
Satan cannot operate where God is operating.
God Himself during the creation, separated light from darkness.
“And God saw the light, that it was good: and God divided the light from the darkness”

(Gen.1:4).
The world of today is so dark, so wee need the light of God in all ramifications.
Hence, king David concluded:

“Thy word is a lamp unto my feet, and a light unto path”

(Ps.119:105).
Embrace Christ today via His word,

and you shall enjoy the benefit of His Divine light in Jesus Mighty Name, Amen.
Happy Sunday!
