Word for Today:’I am persuaded…’

Improving Our Spiritual Understanding

Memory Verse

“For I am persuaded, that neither death, nor life, nor angels, nor principalities, nor powers, nor things present, nor things to come, Nor height, nor depth, nor any other creature, shall be able to separate us from the love of God, which is in Christ Jesus our Lord” (Romans 8:38-39).

Beloved

I stand on the authority of the word of God to join apostle Paul in affirming that I am persuaded of the LOVE of God to undeserving humanity. I am persuaded that nothing shall separate us from the love of God.
I am persuaded that nothing is too hard for God to do in Christ Jesus. I am persuaded that God knows our thoughts afar off. I am persuaded that nothing can harm us if we are followers of goodness. I am persuaded that no weapon fashioned against you shall prosper. Yes, I am persuaded!
With prayer and righteousness, I am persuaded that there shall be peace and prosperity in Jerusalem. I am persuaded that there shall be peace and prosperity in Nigeria, United Kingdom, United States of America and indeed the entire nations of the world .
Let’s pray without ceasing!

Truly, I am persuaded that nothing shall separate us from the love of God in Christ Jesus.

“Behold, what manner of love the Father hath bestowed upon us, that we should be called the sons of God: therefore the world knoweth us not, because it knew him not” (1John 3:1).

To grow spiritually requires daily meditation with the word of God (Joshua 1:8) and seeking first the kingdom of God and its righteousness (Matthew 6:33). It also requires total fear of God, and spiritual training in the word of God: “Train yourself to be godly”(1Tim 4:7-8 NIV).

Prayer

Father, we just want to say thank you Lord for your love to humanity. Nothing can separate us from your love. Accept our thanks in Jesus mighty name. Amen.

Yours in the Vineyard of Christ.

Word for Today:                Sin is the problem.

Word for Today:Sin is the problem.

Ministry of the Word : True Spirituality

Improving Our Spiritual Understanding

Memory Verse

“Behold, the LORD’s hand is not shortened, that it cannot save; neither his ear heavy, that it cannot hear: But your iniquities have separated between you and your God, and your sins have hid his face from you, that he will not hear” ( Isaiah 59:1-2).

Beloved
The only reason God allowed His Son Jesus Christ to die on the cross of Calvary is because of SIN. If we can remove sin from our lives, there can be no barriers to our victory. The only reason man died at the beginning of creation is because of sin.
Sin has enormous capacity to keep one in bondage. Sin has the capacity to keep someone at the same level for years. One may asked: Why does God hate sin with so much passion? It’s because He is a pure and holy God. His eyes are too pure to behold sin ( Habakkuk 1:13)

What is sin? Some people talk of ‘small’ and ‘big’ sin. Every act of unrighteousness is a sin. Sin is wrong doing. According to St James, anyone who knows the good thing he ought to do but didn’t do it, to him it is a sin ( James 4:17).

All you need to do is sincerely confess your sin before the Lord. All have sinned and fallen short of the glory of God. It’s our sin that separate us from God. If we say we have no sin, we are deceiving ourselves and the truth is not in us(1John 1:8-9).

The good news is that our sins are forgiven, if we are willing. He says:
“Come now, and let us reason together, saith the LORD: though your sins be as scarlet, they shall be as white as snow; though they be red like crimson, they shall be as wool” (Isaiah 1:18).

Prayer

Father, we receive the grace to embrace a life of holiness and sin will never have dominion over us in Jesus mighty name. Amen.

Yours in the Vineyard of Christ.

Word for Today:          “Siver and Gold have I none”

Word for Today:”Silver & Gold have I none”

Ministry of the Word : True Spirituality

Improving Our Spiritual Understanding

Memory Verse

“Then Peter said, Silver and gold have I none; but such as I have give I thee: In the name of Jesus Christ of Nazareth rise up and walk” (Acts 3:6).

Beloved

The word of God says the expectation of the righteousness shall not be cut off (Proverbs 23:18). What are your expectations in Christ Jesus?
The blind man at the temple gate called Beautiful, was expecting ordinary alm from Peter and John but got pleasant surprise. His joy was so full ; he began to walk, leap and praising God.
In Christ Jesus, perhaps you are looking unto God for money, car, house, wife or husband or university qualifications. As you look unto Jesus this season( Hebrews 12:2), the Almighty Himself is lifting you up in strength, knowledge, wisdom, understanding and showering you with spiritual gifts that you can never dream of. Please, look unto Jesus. Lift Him high in praise. Glorify His holy name.

He says:
“And I, if I be lifted up from the earth, will draw all men unto me” (John 12:32).

Prayer

Father, please give us the grace to take our mind away from mundane things and focus on your beloved Son, in Jesus mighty name. Amen.

Yours in the Vineyard of Christ.

Word for Today:Wetin you carry?

Word for Today:Wetin you carry?

Ministry of the Word : True Spirituality

Improving Our Spiritual Understanding

Memory Verse

“And the evil spirit answered and said, Jesus I know, and Paul I know; but who are ye? And the man in whom the evil spirit was leaped on them, and overcame them, and prevailed against them, so that they fled out of that house naked and wounded” (Acts 19:15-16).

Beloved

The truth is that many Christians do NOT fully know who / what they are carrying. Do you know that you are carrying the power of God and wisdom of God ? (1 Corinthians 1:24). If you are a pretender, the evil spirits themselves will deal with you as per our memory verses.

The Psalm said: “I have more understanding than all my teachers: for thy testimonies are my meditation” (Psalm 119:99).
While writing this message, I remember a common question most police personnel in my country of birth( Nigeria) normally ask whenever they stop someone: Wetin you carry? If I may ask you , do you know really know the person you are carrying? Do you truly know the Spirit inside of you?

The Word says :
“But if the Spirit of him that raised up Jesus from the dead dwell in you, he that raised up Christ from the dead shall also quicken your mortal bodies by his Spirit that dwelleth in you” (Romans 8:11). So sickness is not your portion.

Brethren, if you truly have the Spirit of Christ dwelling in you, then you can confidently say as our man Job said:
“Though he slay me, yet will I trust in him: but I will maintain mine own ways before him” ( Job 13:15);

You will be able to say like the Psalmist:
“Yea, though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil: for thou art with me; thy rod and thy staff they comfort me” (Psalm 23:4).

You will be able to tell everyone you meet like apostle Paul:

“From henceforth let no man trouble me: for I bear in my body the marks of the Lord Jesus” (Galatians 6:17).
“…which is Christ in you, the hope of glory” (Colossians 1:27).

Or like Apostle John would say:
“…because greater is he that is in you, than he that is in the world” (1John 4:4).

Please, spend time to know who are carrying. Through your faith in Christ Jesus, you are a carrier of the Son of the most high God.

Prayer

Father, we thank you for your love that made you to give us your dear Son, Jesus Christ. Please, help us to know you the more and to appreciate your power in us in Jesus mighty name. Amen.

Yours in the Vineyard of Christ.
