Word for Today:                Our sins are forgiven

Word for Today:Our sins are forgiven.

Ministry of the Word : True Spirituality

Improving Our Spiritual Understanding

Memory Verse

“Whose soever sins ye remit, they are remitted unto them; and whose soever sins ye retain, they are retained” ( John 20:23)
Beloved

Receive ye the Holy Spirit! When Jesus Christ breathed the Holy Spirit into His disciples in our memory verse, it was an empowerment. He told them: whosoever you forgive, are forgiven; whosoever you do not forgive are not given. The Holy Spirit has the power to forgive sins. This is the knowledge some people did not have when Christ was on earth, hence they questioned His ability to forgive sin.
Without forgiveness of sin, there can be no salvation . Many believers are unable to make progress in life because their sins have not be forgiven despite going to church. Our sins separate us from God ( Isaiah 59:1-2). God wants you to be sincere.
To everyone that has made contact with the Ministry of the Word, and those who will made contact in future , with the unction of the Holy Spirit, I affirm that your sins are forgiven in Jesus mighty name. Amen. There is going to be a turnaround in your life from now own in Jesus name.

The Word is appealing to us:
“Come now, and let us reason together, saith the LORD: though your sins be as scarlet, they shall be as white as snow; though they be red like crimson, they shall be as wool” (Isaiah 1:18)

To grow spiritually requires daily meditation with the word of God (Joshua 1:8) and seeking first the kingdom of God and its righteousness (Matthew 6:33). It also requires total fear of God, and spiritual training in the word of God: “Train yourself to be godly”(1Tim 4:7-8 NIV).

Prayer

Father, thank you for drawing us to Christ; as we share your words daily, please help us to draw uncountable souls to Christ in Jesus mighty name. Amen.

Yours in the Vineyard of Christ.

Word for Today:             Hear my cry, O God; attend to my prayer.

Word for Today:Hear my cry, O God; attend to my prayer.

Memory Verse

“Hear my cry, O God; attend unto my prayer. From the end of the earth will I cry unto thee, when my heart is overwhelmed: lead me to the rock that is higher than I. For thou hast been a shelter for me, and a strong tower from the enemy” ( Psalm 61:1-3).

Beloved
Please, pray with us. Let cry to God this season to have mercy on us. You do not need anyone to tell you that there are evil activities everywhere.
Hear our cry O LORD. Have mercy on us. We have all sinned and fallen short of your glory. Your mercies have kept us from being consumed. One of my spiritual fathers, pastor Adeboye has said that one prayer a sinner will sincerely pray that attracts God’s immediate response is “God has mercy on me”. Let us cry to God to have mercy on us. If we say we have not sinned, we are deceiving ourselves and the truth is not in us (1John 1:8).
Please, in agreement let us pray for God’s mercies for the ourselves, our families , our leaders, the church, our nations etc. God is plenteous in mercies (Psalm 136). Father, please have mercy on your children. Father have mercy on me. If you find it difficult to cry to God to show you mercy, please create a few minutes and pray that God will have mercy on Bro Ben Bassey and the Ministry of the Word. In Jesus mighty name we pray. Amen.

God is waiting to hear your cry:
“And it shall come to pass, that before they call, I will answer; and while they are yet speaking, I will hear” (Isaiah 65:24).

Prayer

Father, hear our cry O LORD. Attend to our prayers. We have all fallen short of your glory. Please have mercy on us in Jesus mighty name. Amen.

Word for Today: You did NOT choose Him; He chose you!

Word for Today:You did NOT choose Him; He chose you!

Improving Our Spiritual Understanding

Memory Verse

“Ye have not chosen me, but I have chosen you, and ordained you, that ye should go and bring forth fruit, and that your fruit should remain: that whatsoever ye shall ask of the Father in my name, he may give it you” ( John 15:16)
Beloved

Hallelujah! Hallelujah!! Hallelujah!!! Praise God for grace!

Do you know that you did not become a Christian by choice alone ? Did you know that you were assisted to become a true believer, not by your own efforts? Jesus

Himself said it:
“No man can come to me, except the Father which hath sent me draw him: and I will raise him up at the last day” (John 6:44).
Everyone of us needs the GRACE of God to be drawn to Christ. Please, thank God for grace. Some preachers sometimes wonder why a particular person is so difficult to covert. Not only the preaching is needed; grace is required to draw a soul to Christ.

In Christ Jesus, God has chosen us to go into the world and bear fruit ( fruit here is not limited to having children), rather refers mainly to spiritual fruit.
Yes, we are to go into the world and bear fruit. We are to win souls by sharing the word and ministering Him to others; we are to ensure that the souls that we have won are growing and maturing. The memory verse is not without a promise: “that whatsoever ye shall ask the Father in my name, he may give it to you” (John 15:16c).
Brethren:
“It is the spirit that quickeneth; the flesh profiteth nothing: the words that I speak unto you, they are spirit, and they are life” (John 6:63).
