True Spirituality Therapy (TST)

Whether you believe me or not, life is a battle. Everyone fights the various battles of life, whether you believe in God or not. Unfortunately, some believers are under the impression that once you have given your life to Christ, you can afford to retire to bed at about 7pm daily, and enjoy the comfort of your bed room, waking up at about 7 or 8 am the next day. This is absolute spiritual ignorance. The Scripture says: “My people are destroyed for lack of knowledge” (Hosea 4:6); “my people are gone into captivity, because they have no knowledge” (Isaiah 5:13); “through knowledge shall the just be delivered” (Proverbs 11:9).
In our memory verse above, brother Paul charged his spiritual son, Timothy, to war a good warfare. The Word says Jesus came to earth to destroy the works of the devil: “He that committeth sin is of the devil; for the devil sinneth from the beginning. For this purpose the Son of God was manifested, that he might destroy the works of the devil” (1John 3:8).
As spiritual Christians, let us go about our duties with the consciousness of the fact we are at war at all times-at our places of work, in our families, in our ministries, within our communities etc. We must also be conscious of the fact that the war we are called to fight is spiritual, not physical. “For we wrestles not against flesh and blood” (Ephesians 6:12); “the weapons of our warfare are not carnal…” (2Cor 10:4). Every true believer is a soldier of the cross. Jesus is the Captain of the army of heaven. He rides in a white horse. His names include: “Faithful and True and in Righteousness he doth judge and make war” (Rev 19:11), and “his name is called The Word of God” (verse 13). He wages war with sword from his mouth: “And out of his mouth goeth a sharp sword, that with it he should smite the nations…”(Rev 19:15).
The weapons of our warfare are the words of our mouth! Jesus has given us “a mouth and wisdom…” ( Luke 21:15). We are admonished to make effective use of our mouth laced with wisdom in order to fight a good warfare.
Brethren, we are at war. But it is a spiritual war. It is a war between good and evil. It is a war between right and wrong. It is a war between light and darkness. It is a war between perfection and imperfection. It is a war between ignorance and knowledge. It is a war between sin and righteousness. It is a war against all forms of captivity & oppressions. It is a war against poverty. It is a war against sicknesses and diseases. It is a war against seduction and manipulation. It is a war against anxiety, doubt, unbelief, and fear. It is a war against unfaithfulness and insincerity. It is a war against laziness and idleness. It is a war against pretence and hypocrisy. It is a war against coldness and lukewarmness. It is a war against falsehood, gossiping, and lies. It is a war against wickedness, in all forms. It is a war against Satan, devils, demons and their cohorts. It is a war against untimely death. It is a war against all forms of crude and unjust killings. It is a war in defence of truth, openness, righteousness, honesty, integrity, transparency, divine health etc. Our Captain, Jesus Christ, is in charge. Let us follow his examples. His name is Righteousness! His name is Truth. His name is Faithful.
At individual level, if we must win the war, by all means, let us avoid the corruption in this world. Let us love righteousness and hate iniquity (Hebrews 1:9). Satan and his cohort can never defeat a Christian who is living righteous life and wearing the full armour of God. Once, you have given your life to Christ, and living right, expect challenges.
“And I saw the beast, and the kings of the earth, and their armies, gathered together to make war against him that sat on the horse, and against his army” (Rev 19:19).
“And the remnant were slain with the sword of him that sat upon the horse, which sword proceeded out of his mouth: and all the fowls were filled with their flesh” (Rev 19:21).
Speak the word only and my servant will be healed(Matt 8:8). Speak the word only and the captives shall be set free, fear shall disappear, ignorance shall be no more, abundance of grace & the gift of righteousness will come upon you(Romans 5:17), Satan and his cohort will be put to shame.
To win the war of life, every believer requires empowerment of the Holy Spirit:
“But ye shall receive power, after that the Holy Ghost is come upon you: and ye shall be witnesses unto me both in Jerusalem, and in all Judaea, and in Samaria, and unto the uttermost part of the earth” (Acts 1:8).
As a true believer, fight the wars of life with spiritual understanding. Aligning yourself with the Son of God will guaranty your freedom indeed, because whosoever , the Son shall set free shall be free indeed (John 8:36).
To grow spiritually requires daily meditation with the word of God (Joshua 1:8) and seeking first the kingdom of God and its righteousness (Matthew 6:33). It also requires total fear of God, and spiritual training in the word of God: “Train yourself to be godly”(1Tim 4:7-8 NIV).
PRAYER:
There is someone reading this message , may you receive the grace to war a good warfare in Jesus name, Amen!
Father, we pray that righteousness be established in your church; let the FIRE of Holy Ghost be rekindled in our different nations all over the world in Jesus precious name. Amen.
Father, please continue to expose every act of hypocrisy, pretence and evil in our societies and bring the perpetrators to shame in Jesus mighty name. Amen.
