The Word (31)-the Word of God is Creative.

“For by him were all things created, that are in heaven, and that are in earth, visible and invisible, whether they be thrones, or dominions, or principalities, or powers: all things were created by him, and for him” (Col 1:16).

Beloved

Everything you can ever imagine, visible and invisible, on earth, underneath the earth and in heaven, was created by the Word of God and for the Word of God. Hallelujah! Without the Word of God, nothing existed. In Him, all things consist.

This insight into the Word of God should be your true source of joy. If there is any lack in your life, faithfully ask the supernatural Creator to create one for you. He is the only one with the capacity to create something out of nothing.
Embrace the Word of God from today and begin to enjoy abundance of blessing.
“All things were made by him; and without him was not any thing made that was made” (John 1:3).

Receive the grace to embrace the divine creator of heaven and earth in Jesus Mighty Name. Amen.

CAN GOD BRAG ABOUT YOU?-by Rev A AKPAN

“Then the Lord said to Satan, ‘have you considered my servant Job? There is none on earth like him, he is blameless and upright, a man who fears God and shuns evil'” (Job 2:3).
Someone said “It is not our impression about ourselves that really matters, but God’s impression about us”. In other words, it’s not what we think of ourselves or how we see ourselves but what God thinks of us that is important to Him. Most people who claim to have a relationship with God need to ask themselves an honest and soul-searching question “can God brag about me?
This is necessary because if we are true children of His, He should be able to brag about us before Satan any day, anytime. God wants to be proud of us resulting from our conducts and character. It gives Him joy to see us live a life that brings Him glory, a life of no compromise, a life that makes people say good things about Him, not the reverse. God derives great pleasure when our lives attract others (the unsaved) to Him. That of course is great service to Him. Jesus says in Matthew 5:16 “In the same way, let your light shine before men that they may see your good deeds and praise your Father in heaven”. (NIV)
That is it! God expects our lives to shine before men. It should be a light that attracts people to Him. Earlier in verse 14, He said that we’re the light of the world, and a city on a hill that cannot be hidden.
Recently I watched on television how a family brought their little son for a thanksgiving in the Church. The boy hung three medals on his neck that he won in his school. One was for the best prize for English and Mathematics, another for overall best result, and another for something else. You could see the joy expressed by the parents and the siblings while they were giving the testimony. That’s exactly what happens when we make God proud through our good deeds and glorious living.
In the book of Job chapter 2 verse 3, we see how God bragged about Job before Satan. God described him as being blameless and upright, a man who fears God, and shuns evil. Not only that, God says that he maintained INTEGRITY even when he (Satan) incited God against him to ruin him without cause. Wow! Job maintained integrity despite adversity. He was tested and proven.
Like Job, God wants to be able to brag about you and I. Somebody may be quick to answer me in his or her heart that we cannot live a blameless life in a sin-investd world, just as a fish cannot live in the water without being wet. That is the devil’s consolation. He is a liar and the father of all lies. (John 8:44). Job was blameless. God says so. He was an upright person, a man that fears God, and abhors evil. That is God’s testimony about him. Can He say the same about us? Can He brag about us?
Let’s not allow the devil to deceive us. Let’s refuse to buy his lies that we cannot be what God wants us to be, because we can if we really want to. The Bible says that “for with God all things are possible” (Mark 10:27). Apostle Paul, in one of my favorite scriptures says “I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me”. (Philippians 4:13). Let’s believe it, and confess it, too, and give God cause to brag about us.

INSIGHT: Let’s not allow the devil to deceive us that we cannot be what God wants us to be.

The Word (30)-the Word of God is powerful.

MOW-True Spirituality

Word for Today

The Word (30)-the Word of God is powerful.

“For the kingdom of God is not in word, but in power”

(1Corinthians 4:20)

Beloved

The word of God is loaded with power. Without, the power element, Christianity is a mere religion. Jesus Christ, the Son of the living God is the power of God and the wisdom of God (1Corinthians 1:24).

Your word is nothing but a prophecy. When you speak does your word come to pass? The bible says where the word of the king is, there is power (Eccl 8:4). Some preachers sometimes preach as if their congregations are deaf. Many speak their own words instead of speaking the word of God. The word of man is limited, but the word of the living God knows no boundaries.
Speak the word only and miracles will happen. Who is he that speaketh, and it’s comes to pass if the Lord has not commanded it ( Lam 3:37).
“For the word of God is quick, and powerful, and sharper than any twoedged sword, piercing even to the dividing asunder of soul and spirit, and of the joints and marrow, and is a discerner of the thoughts and intents of the heart” (Hebrews 4:12).

Receive the grace to speak the word of God in Jesus Mighty Name. Amen.

The Word (29)-Activate your FAITH with the word of God.

MOW-True Spirituality

Word for Today

The Word (29)-Activate your FAITH with the word of God.

“So then faith cometh by hearing, and hearing by the word of God” (Romans 10:17).

Beloved

If you want to build up your faith increasingly, you have to constantly expose your mind to the word of God. The word of God is the word of faith. Faith simply means agreeing with what God has said, and obeying Him to prove that you believe Him. Abraham believed God when he was ready to offer his son Isaac for sacrifice. This was counted to him as righteousness (Romans 4:3).
Without the word of God, there is doubt and unbelief. Many people have missed their blessings and miracles because of doubt and unbelief. In life things happen to you according to the measure of your faith. The Word tells us this much:
“Then touched he their eyes, saying, According to your faith be it unto you” (Matthew 9:29)

“But without faith it is impossible to please him: for he that cometh to God must believe that he is, and that he is a rewarder of them that diligently seek him” ( Heb 11:6).
Receive the grace to activate your faith in Jesus Mighty Name. Amen.
