Having accepted Jesus Christ into your life as your Lord and Saviour, you are a brand new person. Salvation makes you a new creature. Therefore, you should no longer live in your past. Hallelujah!
God is a Spirit . You can only sincerely relate to God in spirit and in truth ( John 4:24). Ask God to give you a new heart.
