Blessed new day that the Lord has made.There is no limits to which a true Christian can go higher. You can keep going from glory to glory if you keep your focus on the embodiment of glory, our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ . This is what our memory verse is revealing to us. Keep your focus on Jesus, the Word of God ( John 1:1). Refuse to be distracted by the things of this world.
One major challenge in the body of Christ (the Church) today is that many Christians get easily distracted. You don’t have to pay attention to everything that come your way. Many events are there to distract you from looking unto Jesus…(Hebrews 12:2). The Word says:
“And be not conformed to this world: but be ye transformed by the renewing of your mind, that ye may prove what is that good, and acceptable, and perfect, will of God” (Romans 12:2).
“The grace of our Lord Jesus Christ be with you all. Amen” ( Philippians 4:23).
Stay connected to JESUS, the Word . Seek knowledge, wisdom and understanding.
Connect, Change and Live (CCL).Have Spirit-filled new day.
Be sensitive to the Holy Spirit.
Be compassionate and kind to one another.

Text: Psalm 62:1
“Truly my soul waiteth upon God: from him cometh my salvation.” Psalm 62:1 KJV
Some trust in their money, others trust in their idols, some also trust their political power, and still others trust in their talents or gifts.
Money, idols, political power, talents, or gifts can fail you, but those who wait on the Lord shall renew their strength; they shall mount up with wings as eagles; they shall run, and not be weary; and shall walk, and not faint (Isaiah 40:31).
Sometimes it is difficult to wait on the Lord; however, it is the only solution for lasting salvation.
Dear beloved, how do you wait on God?
Waiting on the Lord means developing the character of looking up to God and His Word for direction. Sometimes you may have to leave the crowd and get alone with God in fellowship for specific direction.
Only a personal relationship with the Lord will propel you to agree with the psalmist that the Lord is your salvation, rock, and defense. Hallelujah! Be An Overcomer!

Beloved, as far as Jesus is concerned, your relationship with God in Christ supersedes any other relationship. You may love your immediate family, parents, siblings, friends, work etc. How much do you love the word of God? How much do you love Jesus? He revealed: For I was hungry, and you gave me no meat…(Matthew 25:42).
Stay CONNECTED with Jesus, the Word. Seek knowledge, wisdom and understanding.

“Behold, I give unto you power to tread on serpents and scorpions, and over all the power of the enemy: and nothing shall by any means hurt you” (Luke 10:19).
Dearly Beloved
We thank God in Christ for a blessed new day he has made.Power is the ability to do work. Make use of the power given unto you from above. Jesus has extended to all true believers, power He Himself received from His Father as revealed in the scripture:
“And Jesus came and spake unto them, saying, All power is given unto me in heaven and in earth” ( Matthew 28:18).
Every true Christian needs empowerment by the Holy Spirit, otherwise effective Christian living will be difficult if not impossible. Soul winning is extremely difficult without the help of the Holy Spirit. The moment you accept Jesus Christ as your Lord and Saviour, there is a measure of the Holy Spirit that you receive with your confession, depending on the level of your faith when you received Christ.
However, receiving Jesus Christ is the beginning of a difficult race, which is largely spiritual. You require subsequent empowerment by the Holy Spirit to be victorious in the race. You need some level of humility, spiritual training, water baptism by immersion , before Holy Spirit baptism by His grace. This is where the word of God and a good Word based church are very important. To show us example, Jesus Himself went through the process before being empowered:
“How God anointed Jesus of Nazareth with the Holy Ghost and with power: who went about doing good, and healing all that were oppressed of the devil; for God was with him” (Acts 10:38).
Beloved, Christianity is not a mere mental exercise as some ‘great’ preachers and organisations would want us to believe. Without empowerment by the Holy Spirit, we can do nothing. Not by might, not by power , but by the Spirit of the living God ( Zechariah 4:6). Personally, I could recall how my Christian life was prior to my Holy Spirit baptism by His grace on the 10th February, 2008. The power that touched me that day was mighty beyond description.
You might have been a Christian for many years, but if you have not been baptised by the Holy Spirit, cry to God in Christ Jesus, in total repentance . Ensure you go through the required spiritual process. If you are finding it difficult to share the word of God with others, you need empowerment promised by Jesus Himself:
“But ye shall receive power, after that the Holy Ghost is come upon you: and ye shall be witnesses unto me both in Jerusalem, and in all Judaea, and in Samaria, and unto the uttermost part of the earth” ( Acts 1:8).
As a faithful reader of this message, receive ye the Holy Spirit in Jesus name. Amen.

To grow spiritually requires daily meditation with the word of God (Joshua 1:8) and seeking first the kingdom of God and its righteousness (Matthew 6:33). It also requires total fear of God, and spiritual training in the word of God: “Train yourself to be godly”(1Tim 4:7-8 NIV).

Dear Father, through this medium let every Christian who has NOT yet been baptised in your Holy Spirit experience the Spirit baptism in Jesus mighty name. Amen.Thank you Jesus for extending your power to me through your Holy Spirit.
