Dearly Beloved
We thank God in Christ for a blessed new day he has made.Power is the ability to do work. Make use of the power given unto you from above. Jesus has extended to all true believers, power He Himself received from His Father as revealed in the scripture:
“And Jesus came and spake unto them, saying, All power is given unto me in heaven and in earth” ( Matthew 28:18).
Every true Christian needs empowerment by the Holy Spirit, otherwise effective Christian living will be difficult if not impossible. Soul winning is extremely difficult without the help of the Holy Spirit. The moment you accept Jesus Christ as your Lord and Saviour, there is a measure of the Holy Spirit that you receive with your confession, depending on the level of your faith when you received Christ.
However, receiving Jesus Christ is the beginning of a difficult race, which is largely spiritual. You require subsequent empowerment by the Holy Spirit to be victorious in the race. You need some level of humility, spiritual training, water baptism by immersion , before Holy Spirit baptism by His grace. This is where the word of God and a good Word based church are very important. To show us example, Jesus Himself went through the process before being empowered:
“How God anointed Jesus of Nazareth with the Holy Ghost and with power: who went about doing good, and healing all that were oppressed of the devil; for God was with him” (Acts 10:38).
Beloved, Christianity is not a mere mental exercise as some ‘great’ preachers and organisations would want us to believe. Without empowerment by the Holy Spirit, we can do nothing. Not by might, not by power , but by the Spirit of the living God ( Zechariah 4:6). Personally, I could recall how my Christian life was prior to my Holy Spirit baptism by His grace on the 10th February, 2008. The power that touched me that day was mighty beyond description.
You might have been a Christian for many years, but if you have not been baptised by the Holy Spirit, cry to God in Christ Jesus, in total repentance . Ensure you go through the required spiritual process. If you are finding it difficult to share the word of God with others, you need empowerment promised by Jesus Himself:
“But ye shall receive power, after that the Holy Ghost is come upon you: and ye shall be witnesses unto me both in Jerusalem, and in all Judaea, and in Samaria, and unto the uttermost part of the earth” ( Acts 1:8).
As a faithful reader of this message, receive ye the Holy Spirit in Jesus name. Amen.

Dear Beloved
Happy Sunday to the great people of God in Christ all over the world.Our call in Christ Jesus is a call to perfection. Perfection is the true essence of our God. His eyes are too pure to behold iniquities. His grace is all we need to live a righteous and victorious life in this evil generation.
According to our memory verse, Jesus declares that God expects all His children to be perfect. Indeed when God called Abraham, the first commandment giving to him was to walk in perfection with God:
“And when Abram was ninety years old and nine, the LORD appeared to Abram, and said unto him, I am the Almighty God; walk before me, and be thou perfect” (Gen 17:1).
In the body of Christ today (the Church), I have been opportune to interact fairly regularly with Christian brothers and sisters, who think, talk and behave as if perfection is not a reality. Many will readily quote the saying: “To err is human”. However, this is not written anywhere in the Bible . God will not ask his children to be perfect if perfection is impossibility with man. God will not ask his children to be holy if holiness is not possible with man (Leviticus 11:44). Perfection is linked to holiness. Apostle Peter reiterated it a few times: “But as he which hath called you is holy, so be ye holy in all manner of conversation; Because it is written, Be ye holy; for I am holy” (1Peter 1:15-16).
Perfection can be explained as a state of completeness and flawlessness. Perfection is a state of excellence. A state of purity, without mistake, error or fault. In other words, there should be no single fault, error or mistake in what is being examined. No wonder the blessings of Deuteronomy 28: 1-14, requires diligent obedience. Apostle James puts it succinctly: “For whosoever shall keep the whole law, and yet offend in one point, he is guilty of all” (James 2:10); James also enabled us to know that SIN is linked to knowledge: “Therefore to him that knoweth to do good, and doeth it not, to him it is sin” ( James 4:17).
There is a bible character called Daniel. The Scripture says when his enemies examined him, they could not find a single fault because of the excellent spirit in him, hence in their wickedness they set a trap for him, but fell into it themselves. The word of God says this of Daniel : “Then this Daniel was preferred above the presidents and princes, because an excellent spirit was in him; and the king thought to set him over the whole realm” (Daniel 6:3). The Holy Spirit in Christ Jesus, that dwells in every true believer is a Spirit of excellence and perfection. There is no single error, mistake or fault in Him.
Oneness with God in Christ Jesus, the Word of God, is the only authentic platform for man’s holiness and perfection on earth.
Stay connected to JESUS, the Word . He is the epitome of perfection. Desire knowledge, wisdom and understanding.
