Beloved

In the Ministry Of the Word (MOW)-Acts 6:4, we primarily encourage and empower believers to be rich in the words of God: “let the word of Christ dwell in you richly in all wisdom” (Col 3:16). The entrance of the WORD is the true source of LIGHT in a dark world(Ps 119:130). We also encourage believers to speak to one another “in psalms and hymns and spiritual songs(Eph 5:19). We encourage everyone to “seek first the kingdom of God his righteousness”..Matt 6:33). We stress that: Righteousness exalts a person (Prov 14:34). We emphasize that pure Christianity is about True Spirituality in Christ Jesus. We emphasize that the POWER in the blood of Jesus has set us FREE from all forms of bondage, ignorance, disease and that where the Spirit of the Lord is, there is liberty (2Cor 3:17). Jesus Christ is the Word of God (John 1:1; Rev 19:13). We emphasise that Jesus is the Truth (John 14:6). The words of God are spirit & are Life(John 6:63). We allow the Scriptures to answer all questions. We avoid the dilution, misinterpretation or deliberate corruption of the words of God. We create the awareness that Jesus has made all true believers kings and priests unto God and his Father(Rev 1:6). In addition, aside from soul winning, as a spiritual body, we also empower unbelievers with knowledge using the principles of our Lord Jesus Christ with the understanding that when they witness the power of the living God, they will be compelled to believe and exalt His holy name (Psalm 46:10).

One major objective of MOW is to increasingly improve everyone’s spiritual understanding! Spiritual ignorance is a major cause of human destruction(Hosea 4:6). Indeed, many children of God have gone into captivity, because they have no knowledge (Isa 5:13). Indeed, “through knowledge shall the just be delivered” (Prov 11:9). We are established by the righteousness in the word of God (Isaiah 54:14).

Please note that the MOW is an initiative and the spiritual arm of Abasi Health Foundation (AHF). AHF is a registered NGO in Nigeria , with the primary objective of empowering all groups of people to optimize their health. It is aimed at encouraging everyone to have increasing awareness of three broad levels of health: Physical, Mental and Spiritual. May God give you the grace of increasing understanding in Jesus Name. Amen.

“I must work the works of him that sent me, while it is day: the night cometh, when no man can work” ( John 9:4)
Beloved

Many people complain that they don’t have work but when God gives them the opportunity to work, you will be amazed about the standard of their work. Let’s do every work given to us well, even when there is no ‘boss’ to supervise us. There is always the big BOSS of all the bosses examining the details of whatever we do:

“Whatsoever thy hand findeth to do, do it with thy might; for there is no work, nor device, nor knowledge, nor wisdom, in the grave, whither thou goest”(Ecclesiastes 9:10).

Many of us often forget that in life, we reap whatever we sow. Let’s us not be nonchalant with our work. Everyone of us is a co-builder with God:

“And whatsoever ye do, do it heartily, as to the Lord, and not unto men; Knowing that of the Lord ye shall receive the reward of the inheritance: for ye serve the Lord Christ” ( Colossians 3:23-24).

Do your work well, including sharing the word of God ( Psalm 107:20).

Stay blessed by the grace in the Word.

Have a Spirit- filled week

To grow spiritually requires daily meditation with the word of God (Joshua 1:8) and seeking first the kingdom of God and its righteousness (Matthew 6:33).

Prayer

Dear Father, please give us the grace to be effective in our work with you in Jesus mighty name. Amen.

“As long as I am in the world, I am the light of the world” ( John 9:5).
Beloved

Jesus is the LIGHT of this world, in Him is no darkness at all. Jesus is also the Word of God. The more of the word of God you have in your inner man, the more you have access to Jesus Christ.
Darkness is terrible. In darkness, your best friend can harm you significantly, without you knowing. Many people are afraid of light because it exposes evil deeds.

If you have Jesus, you are the light of this world:
“Ye are the light of the world. A city that is set on an hill cannot be hid…” ( Matthew 5:14-16). Yes, let your light shine for others to see.

“And this is the condemnation, that light is come into the world, and men loved darkness rather than light, because their deeds were evil” ( John 3:19).

Have a Spirit- filled week

To grow spiritually requires daily meditation with the word of God (Joshua 1:8) and seeking first the kingdom of God and its righteousness (Matthew 6:33). It also requires total fear of God, and spiritual training in the word of God: “Train yourself to be godly”(1Tim 4:7-8 NIV).

Prayer

Dear Father, please help us to experience the fire in your word and to be a true source of light in a dark world in Jesus mighty name. Amen.

“Seest thou a man diligent in his business? he shall stand before kings; he shall not stand before mean men” ( Proverbs 22:29)
Beloved

Diligence means paying great attention to details in the work you are doing. Diligence entails hard work but diligence is not merely about hard work. One can be very hardworking but not diligent at all. Lack of diligence is a common occurrence in the house of God today.
Every blessing of God in His word is conditional. The blessings of Deuteronomy 28:1-14, is tied to diligent obedience to the commandments of God. If you truly love God in Christ Jesus, it will be reflected in your thoughts, words and actions.
Get passionate with the word of God. Minister the word of God to people around you. Do not be superficial with Jesus. Be ready to go the extra mile for Jesus Christ. You don’t have to necessarily follow others. There are many pretenders in the house of God today. Someone may be rated a ‘powerful preacher’ but his or her heart is far from God in Christ Jesus. Be careful of who call your spiritual father.

No one can successfully pretend before God. God looks at our heart, not merely what we say , our work or our physical appearance:

“Keep thy heart with all diligence; for out of it are the issues of life” (Proverbs 4:23)
