“And the light shineth in darkness; and the darkness comprehended it not” ( John 1:5).

Beloved

Darkness and light are not friends. In a sense, darkness is pitiable, because at the appearance of true light, darkness must disappear. Darkness, can never comprehend light. Darkness cannot withstand light.
God hates darkness, hence He commanded light to come out of darkness from the very beginning (Genesis 1:3). Without light there is confusion, stagnation, frustration, failure and hopelessness. Without light, everything is useless.

There can be no true light without fire. The only true source of fire is the word of God. This is why the entrance of the word of God into a man’s spirit and heart, gives light ( Psalm 119:130).

“Is not my word like as a fire? saith the LORD; and like a hammer that breaketh the rock in pieces?” (Jeremiah 23:29).

Have a Spirit- filled Sunday

To grow spiritually requires daily meditation with the word of God (Joshua 1:8) and seeking first the kingdom of God and its righteousness (Matthew 6:33). It also requires total fear of God, and spiritual training in the word of God: “Train yourself to be godly”(1Tim 4:7-8 NIV).

Prayer

Dear Father, please help us to experience the fire in your word and to desire the fire component of the Holy Spirit in Jesus mighty name. Amen.

“He came unto his own, and his own received him not. But as many as received him, to them gave he power to become the sons of God, even to them that believe on his name” ( John 1:11-12).

Beloved

Please, know this, that we did not become sons of God by our strength. We need to be empowered to become sons of God. The greatest gift a person can receive from God in Christ Jesus is to become the son of God. A child is born, but a son is given ( Isaiah 9:6).
Jesus Himself said it that no one can come to him unless His Father draws him:
“No man can come to me, except the Father which hath sent me draw him: and I will raise him up at the last day” (John 6:44). Don’t be too disappointed when you have ministered the word of God powerfully to someone but the person ‘refused’ to be converted.

Many people claim to have JESUS but they cannot tell you what they do with Him. To be a son of God is a special privilege that cannot be available to all, as this would be against the scriptures. To be a son of God is a measure of tremendous amount of love from God in Christ:

“Behold, what manner of love the Father hath bestowed upon us, that we should be called the sons of God: therefore the world knoweth us not, because it knew him not” (1John 3:1)

Please, let us be daily conscious of our sonship with God in Christ Jesus.

“…So shall my word be that goeth forth out of my mouth: it shall not return unto me void, but it shall accomplish that which I please, and it shall prosper in the thing whereto I sent it” ( Isaiah 55:10-11).

Beloved

Zeal for my Father’s work has taken over me!
Those Christians that are not sharing the word of God with others , are really missing so much. The word of God sent prayerfully in faith by a person in Good Standing with God in Christ Jesus is as powerful as God Himself. The word of God can never return to God void. God cannot deny Himself:

“He sent his word, and healed them, and delivered them from their destructions” (Psalm 107:20).

A true Christian life is a life of integrity and total obedience to the Word. A life of example for others to emulate. Are you a friend of JESUS? He says: “Ye are my friends, if ye do whatsoever I command you” (John 15:14). Sharing his words and publishing it is a primary commandment.
I often wonder why Christians should dissipate so much time and energy complaining about what non Christians are doing or not doing, when they have ignorantly refused to make use of the freely given word of God. There is nothing that the word of God cannot accomplish.
The word of God is God . The word of God is quick and powerful (Hebrews 4:12). You cannot have the word of God and be complaining with every.

“Let no man despise thy youth; but be thou an example of the believers, in word, in conversation, in charity, in spirit, in faith, in purity” (1Tim 4:12).

Please, get out of your spiritual slumber, and join the great company of publishers of the word of God. Share the word of God with others. God has given us his word, what are you doing with it?

“The Lord gave the word: great was the company of those that published it” (Psalm 68:11).

Prayer
Dear Father, please give us the grace to be passionate about publishing your word, in Jesus mighty name. Amen.

“It is the spirit that quickeneth; the flesh profiteth nothing: the words that I speak unto you, they are spirit, and they are life” (John 6:63).
Beloved

Many people in the church lack understanding of the differences between spirituality and religion. Jesus Christ , while on earth was the most spiritual person who ever lived, and the least religious. In fact, his greatest enemies were the religious people of his time.
When I listen to some people talk,(including Christians), I can see they lack sound knowledge of the word of God.
The words of God are spirit and they are life. Indeed, death and life are in the power of the tongue ( Proverbs 18:21)

True spirituality should bring out the best qualities in a person in terms of patience, honesty, openness, transparency, sincerity, compassion, peace, truth and love. True spirituality enables a person to pay attention to every word that comes out from his mouth. If the word of God are spirit, then the word of man are spirit, since man was created in the image and likeness of God.

Many people speak negatively (contrary to the word of God), into themselves and their situations at the slightest opportunity, without the understanding that what they repeatedly say with their mouths will eventually come to pass. Many Christians cannot imagine what they are missing for not spending time with the Word of God.

Be a spiritual person. Be mindful of your thoughts and your words.
The words you speak are spirit. Speak the word of life only.
