Memory Verse:

“I must work the works of him that sent me, while it is day: the night cometh, when no man can work” ( John 9:4)

Beloved

If I may ask you, whose works are you doing?

I have heard people talk of ‘secular’ and ‘non secular’ work. I personally, do NOT know the the difference. What was the secular work of JESUS when he was on earth?
There are people who will be complaining that they don’t have work, yet when they see the opportunity to work, they are nonchalant about it. If you are doing God’s work in a nonchalant manner, is that secular or non secular? Please, wake up, the entrance of the word God gives light (Psalm 119:130).
Everyone of us has divine assignments. You can use every approved work you are opportune to do as an opportunity to glorify God . I have read in my Bible:

“And whatsoever ye do, do it heartily, as to the Lord, and not unto men; Knowing that of the Lord ye shall receive the reward of the inheritance: for ye serve the Lord Christ” (Col 3:23-24)

Get passionate with the Word. Do not be superficial with Jesus. Be ready to go the extra mile for Jesus Christ. Be careful of who you choose as your spiritual mentor. The word says:
“I love them that love me; and those that seek me early shall find me”(Proverbs 8:17).

“Nevertheless the foundation of God standeth sure, having this seal, The Lord knoweth them that are his. And, Let every one that nameth the name of Christ depart from iniquity” (2Timothy 2:19)

Stay blessed by the grace in the Word.
Have a Spirit- filled week

To grow spiritually requires daily meditation with the word of God (Joshua 1:8) and seeking first the kingdom of God and its righteousness (Matthew 6:33).

Prayer

Dear Father, please give us the grace to value and do your works above everything else in Jesus mighty name. Amen.

Yours in the Vineyard of Christ.

Word for Today: Quench Not the Spirit’s Fire.

Word for Today: Quench Not the Spirit’s Fire.

MInistry of the Word (MOW): True Spirituality

Improving Our Spiritual Understanding

Memory Verse

“Is not my word like as a fire? saith the LORD; and like a hammer that breaketh the rock in pieces? ” (Jeremiah 23:29).
Beloved

The fire in the word of God is better experienced. It may not be easy to explain to others what it is or how it look like. There is fire in the word of God. When you are sufficiently cleaved to the Word and you soak yourself with the word of God, the fire begins to burn in your body(flesh). I mean feelings of physical fire in your flesh.
What we need most in the body of Christ (the church) today is the fire of revival. This is what will drive away pretenders in the church. The bible tells us that God wants His ministers to be flame of fire :

“And of the angels he saith, Who maketh his angels spirits, and his ministers a flame of fire” ( Hebrews 1:7)
Do not be a cold Christian. Wake up and experience the fire of the living God by staying with the Word. Meditate on the word of God day and night. Remember, there is no light without fire. The fire is in the word of God:
“The entrance of thy words giveth light; it giveth understanding unto the simple” ( Psalm 119:130).

PRAYER

Father, please, give me the grace to manifest the FIRE in your word at all times in Jesus Mighty Name. Amen.

Word for Today: Spiritual Aggression is needed.

Word for Today:Spiritual Aggression is needed.

Memory Verse:

“And from the days of John the Baptist until now the kingdom of heaven suffereth violence, and the violent take it by force” ( Matthew 11:12).
Beloved

Beloved, God expects you to prayerfully and spiritually react penitently, aggressively, violently and persistently whenever you are faced with a negative situation. There are many brothers and sisters who are looking for their life partners, but do nothing, believing God will “do what seemed good”. Many a times what you hear from them is something like this: “God knows my heart desire”. God expects you to be specific, persistent, aggressive and spiritually violent when dealing with life issues. Once you have received the Holy Spirit, your words become creative. You speak what you want into being in Christ Jesus. The Holy Spirit of God “calleth those things which be not as though they were” ( Romans 4:17). Henceforth, say no to passive Christianity.

One of the biggest problems we have in the church today is the lack of the fire component of the Holy Spirit baptism. The cold and lukewarm nature of the church today has enabled evil to thrive within the body of Christ. It has enabled demons, witches, wizards and agents of darkness to feel comfortable and to ‘enjoy’ fellowship with true children of God.

John the Baptist, who heralded Jesus, declared: “I indeed baptize you with water unto repentance: but he that cometh after me is mightier than I, whose shoes I am not worthy to bear: he shall baptize you with the Holy Ghost, and with fire” (Math 3:11).
Please, pray for the fire component of the Holy Spirit baptism. Jesus is the only one that can baptize us with the Holy Spirit.

Please, be spiritually violent daily

To grow spiritually requires daily meditation with the word of God (Joshua 1:8) and seeking first the kingdom of God and its righteousness (Matthew 6:33). However, the first thing you must desire greatly is total spiritual freedom through the truth in the word of God ( John 8:32).

Prayer: There is someone reading this message, receive the grace of spiritual aggression and violence in Jesus mighty name. Amen

Memory Verse

“Even from the days of your fathers ye are gone away from mine ordinances, and have not kept them. Return unto me, and I will return unto you, saith the LORD of hosts. But ye said, Wherein shall we return?” ( Malachi 3:7).
Beloved

As individuals and as nations, we have fallen short of the glory of God in Christ Jesus. We all can learn something from the story and event in Nineveh when Prophet Jonah obeyed God and went back to minister the word of God to them:
“So the people of Nineveh believed God, and proclaimed a fast, and put on sackcloth, from the greatest of them even to the least of them. For word came unto the king of Nineveh, and he arose from his throne, and he laid his robe from him, and covered him with sackcloth, and sat in ashes.

And he caused it to be proclaimed and published through Nineveh by the decree of the king and his nobles, saying, Let neither man nor beast, herd nor flock, taste any thing: let them not feed, nor drink water:

But let man and beast be covered with sackcloth, and cry mightily unto God: yea, let them turn every one from his evil way, and from the violence that is in their hands.

Who can tell if God will turn and repent, and turn away from his fierce anger, that we perish not?

And God saw their works, that they turned from their evil way; and God repented of the evil, that he had said that he would do unto them; and he did it not” ( Jonah 3: 5-10).

Let us return to God sincerely. Let us promote the Word of God as we go about our daily duties.
It’s an individual responsibility.

To grow spiritually requires daily meditation with the word of God (Joshua 1:8) and seeking first the kingdom of God and its righteousness (Matthew 6:33). It also requires total fear of God, and spiritual training in the word of God: “Train yourself to be godly”(1Tim 4:7-8 NIV).

Prayer

Dear Father, help us to sincerely return to you through the grace in Christ Jesus in Jesus mighty name. Amen.

Yours in the Vineyard of Christ.
