Beloved

Let us keep praising God daily. Thank God in Christ Jesus daily if not for anything else, for your salvation. There is no basis to complain. No basis to grumble. There is no basis to murmur. God does not complain, grumble or murmur. You are god on earth.

Please, let us pay attention to what his Word says. The devil is a liar from the very beginning (John 8:44). He often defeat many Christians at the level of their thoughts. The book of Proverb says: “For as he thinketh in his heart, so is he” (Prov 23:7). 
Man is the sum total of his thoughts, perceptions, imaginations, words, and confessions. You have been recreated in the image and likeness of our Lord Jesus Christ . There is an irreversible link between what we think, believe, perceive, imagine, and our speech, actions as well as how we behave. The Holy Spirit of God is the vital link between God and man. 

In the beginning, God created man in his image and likeness (Gen 1:26-27), to function like in Him in thoughts, words and actions. Of all his creation, man was the only creature that God extended his divine nature to, out of love. God breathed into his nostrils the breath of life; and man became a living soul (Gen 2:7). However, this divine nature was lost when the first man Adam, sinned by yielding to the temptation of the devil. 
Thanks be to God for Jesus, who has endeavor all true believers to regain this divine nature, by shedding his precious blood, at the cross. The Scripture says: “But as many as received him, to them gave he power to become the sons of God, even to them that believe on his name” (John 1:12). 
Hence, our sonship of God is only in Christ Jesus by grace, and it is a gift from God through a divine empowerment.

There is a spirit in man, but the inspiration of the Almighty gives the spirit of man the required understanding (Job 32:8). 

To grow spiritually requires daily meditation with the word of God (Joshua 1:8) and seeking first the kingdom of God and its righteousness (Matthew 6:33). It also requires total fear of God, and spiritual training in the word of God: “Train yourself to be godly”(1Tim 4:7-8 NIV).

Prayer

Dear Father, please give us the grace to Think, Speak and Act like you in the mighty name of Jesus . Amen.

“Submit yourselves therefore to God. Resist the devil, and he will flee from you” (James 4:7).
Beloved 

Resisting the devil requires spiritual strength. You need the Holy Spirit to successfully resist the devil daily. According to our memory verse, the first thing is to submit yourself to God. You have to learn to stand on the authority of the word of God in every situation you find yourself. 

Many Christians accept gifts from the devil and side with him very readily, instead of resisting him. At the appearance of the slightest headache or discomfort, they are already confessing. With spiritual awareness, you learn to rely on the power in the word of God and resist everything contrary to the nature of God around you. Remember , God calls those things that be NOT as if they were (Romans 4:17). When there was darkness in the beginning, God did not focus on the darkness. God ignored the darkness and spoke light out of the darkness ( Genesis 1:3).
Everything else may fail, but the word of God can never fail. The word of God cannot lie. The word of God cannot deny Himself. Do not focus on things that will not glorify God in Christ. 
Due to ignorance, many Christians actually spread information that glorify the devil rather than God in the name of evangelism and Christianity.

Beloved , have faith in God. We have been given so much power in Christ Jesus to help us resist the devil:
“Verily I say unto you, Whatsoever ye shall bind on earth shall be bound in heaven: and whatsoever ye shall loose on earth shall be loosed in heaven” (Matthew 18:18).

Prayer

Dear Father, please give us the grace to draw near to you and to resist the devil in every situation in the mighty name of Jesus . Amen.

Memory Verse 

“Children, obey your parents in the Lord: for this is right. Honour thy father and mother; which is the first commandment with promise; That it may be well with thee, and thou mayest live long on the earth” (Ephesians 6:1-3).

Beloved 

In my few years of walking with the LORD, I have seen many young people who missed their blessings in life due to ignorance of these scriptures and inability to obey the simple instructions in our memory verses correctly.
The Word says children should obey/honour their parents. They are to honour their father and mother so that they shall live long and be prosperous. I can never forget the case of a minister of God in his 40s, I met a few years ago, in a parish of one of the biggest churches in the world. In the course of our discussion, he shared with me, his struggle with life and his inability to make progress in anything he does. As I wanted to understand his situation further, I asked about his parents. You could imagine my shock when he informed me that he has not spoken to his biological father for about 20 years. He agreed to reconcile with his father following our discussion.
The instructions to obey/honour our parents in our memory verses are not conditional. There are no conditions such as : except if your parents are very wicked or into witch-crafting. Recently, I was speaking with a distant spiritual son and was very surprised to know that he ignored attending the funeral/burial of his biological mother, though I was aware they did not have a good relationship when she was alive.
No more stagnation in your life. Simple obedience to the Word is the answer to our blessings . Arise and shine. Refuse to remain in darkness.

 Only the truth can make you free:

“If the Son therefore shall make you free, ye shall be free indeed” ( John 8:36)
