Anointing (5)-Be aware of Negative anointing.
Beloved 

Do you know that one can be anointed negatively for evil? Anger is a common example of demonic anointing. Do you get angry easily? Please, bind such spirit in yourself with the power of God ( Matthew 18:18).
Many people have lost their destinies in life to anger. The Word says: “Be not hasty in thy spirit to be angry: for anger resteth in the bosom of fools” (Eccl 7:9).
Grace & peace be multiplied to you… in Jesus name (2Peter 1:2). Amen.

A friend of mine who is also a pioneer pastor in Aba, Abia State of Nigeria visited me sometime ago and requested that I should accompany him to see a friend of his who’s been of tremendous support to him in the ministry. I had heard so much about the brother so I decided to go with him so I can use that opportunity to appreciate him for his love for the kingdom and for his encouragement to my friend in the ministry. I was meeting him for the first time. So after the introduction, I began to thank him for all he’s been doing to help my friend fulfill his calling.
Surprisingly, the brother just smiled and asked “What matters?” He didn’t say anything else. I was deeply touched by that statement. And in response, I said to him “I wish all Christians have the same understanding you have about the kingdom”. Majority of today’s Christians are more Church minded, rather than being kingdom minded. They talk much about “our Church” than the kingdom of God.
By that question, what he implied was “what is more important in life than to serve God with whatever he blesses us with?”, What gives fulfilment in life than to help others fulfill their purpose in life?, He was asking: “what counts in life than to live for the cause of the kingdom?”
That brother understands that there’s nothing one has that he didn’t receive (1Cor. 4:7). He understands that it is God who gives the power to get wealth (Deutr. 8:18), and that it is for the purpose of advancing His kingdom.
A foremost Missionary statesman, Oswald J. Smith once said “It is not how much of my money, but how much of God’s money that I keep for myself” Every heaven conscious believer knows that he or she is only a custodian of whatever God entrusts him or her with, and that everything he or she owns belongs to God.
King Solomon the preacher, the wisest, and the richest man that ever lived counsels thus “Whatsoever your hand finds to do, do it with all your might, for there’s no work, nor device, nor knowledge, nor wisdom, in the grave where you are going” (Ecl.9:10).
Finally, that brother understands that what counts in life is what we do for God and His kingdom while still alive. That should be the understanding of every one that is looking forward to meet with Jesus someday.

Anointing (4)-Overflowing Anointing 

Do you desire overflowing anointing? Then, learn from King David, the Psalmist. Begin to bless the Lord at all times ( Psalm 34:1).

Hear the Psalmist : “…thou anointest my head with oil; my cup runneth over” (Psalm 23:5).

Improving Our Spiritual Understanding 

Theme: Be a Carrier of the Presence of God.

We bless God in Christ for the victory in His word, and for the new thing He is doing in our lives. Praise God. Hallelujah!
All over the world, true believers often travel long distances to look for God in Christ Jesus . The truth is that if Christ is well formed in your heart (Gal 4:19), then be sure you are a carrier of the presence God. However, you need understanding to enable the God within you to be manifested.
 

When Jesus was asked by the Pharisees when the kingdom of God will come, His response was: “the kingdom of God is within you” (Luk 17:21). This statement is loaded with hidden meaning. The Bible says our body is the living temple of God, hence we ought to keep it holy. According to Apostle Paul with the help of the Holy Spirit: “What? know ye not that your body is the temple of the Holy Ghost which is in you, which ye have of God, and ye are not your own?” (1Cor 6:19). He continued : “For ye are bought with a price: therefore glorify God in your body, and in your spirit, which are God’s” (1Cor 6:20). Holiness is a key factor to being a carrier of God. Holiness is linked to purity. No wonder Jesus Himself taught us: “Blessed are the pure in heart: for they shall see God” ( Matthew 5:8). To experience purity in your inner self, ensure you have no bad thoughts against any one.

We need this deep understanding and God’s consciousness in our walk with God in Christ Jesus. Once, we have accepted Jesus as our Lord and Saviour, then the true God lives in us through His HolySpirit. This is why Apostle John assured us: “Greater is he that is in you, than he that is in the world” (1 John 4:4). This is why Brother Paul assured us: “Christ in you, the hope of glory” (Col 1:27).This why king David, the Psalmist, with the help of the Holy Spirit assured us: ” I have said, Ye are gods; and all of you are children of the most High” (Psalm 82:6). The list could go on and on. Once, you have received Jesus Christ into your heart, there is the need for you to grow in grace and knowledge that is in Christ Jesus, to enable Christ to be well formed in you. The plan of God is to manifest all true believers as Jesus on earth, and enable them do greater works; Apostle Paul clearly revealed this to us: “For the earnest expectation of the creature waiteth for the manifestation of the sons of God” (Rom 8:19).

God is a Spirit (John 4:24). The Holy Spirit of God will NOT dwell in a vessel (body) that is impure. What is that ‘habit’ that you secretly hold unto, which you know very well does not glorify God in your life? You may call it any name, but if it does not bring glory to God, please drop it NOW. Is it procrastination? Is it laziness? Is it coldness? Is it miserliness? Is it sleeping too much? Is it impure thoughts? Is it immoral thoughts? Is it frequent errors and mistakes? Is it poverty of ideas? etc. As a Spirit, God has ears, feelings, eyes etc. The Holy Spirit cannot withstand imperfection. The word of God affirms this “Thou art of purer eyes than to behold evil, and canst not look on iniquity”(Hab 1:13).

Many people have been ‘going to church ‘ for years, with nothing to show for it. Some believers lack the understanding that because of impurities the Holy Spirit finds it difficult to dwell in them. Some people make Christianity so uninteresting that even unbelievers do not envy them. They are toothless or powerless Christians. If you belong to this category, please wake up NOW. Arise and shine for your light has come.
To optimise your work and walk with God in Christ, you need to carry that consciousness that the kingdom God is within you. The kingdom of God is a kingdom of power, boldness, hardwork, diligence, righteousness, holiness, transparency, honesty, integrity, compassion , comfort, mercy, peace, joy, faith and love. 

 To grow spiritually requires daily meditation with the word of God (Joshua 1:8) and seeking first the kingdom of God and its righteousness (Matthew 6:33). However, the first thing you must desire greatly is total spiritual freedom through the truth in the word of God ( John 8:32).

Prayer: There is someone reading this message, receive the grace to have increasingly consciousness that you are a carrier of the presence of God in Jesus mighty name. Amen
