Word for Today: What have you suffered for Christ?

Memory Verse
“From henceforth let no man trouble me: for I bear in my body the marks of the Lord Jesus” (Galatians 6:17).Dearly Beloved
This is a blessed new day the Lord has made. Good morning to you all, especially the family of God.
Everywhere you go , every situation you find yourself, there is always an opportunity to ‘showcase’ Jesus Christ. I am often amazed that many Christians are not comfortable with sharing Jesus with others, for what ever reasons. Many Christians are reluctant to honour Jesus Christ in thoughts, words and actions.
After Apostle Paul found Jesus through a dramatic circumstance on his way to Damascus in Acts Chapter 9, he considered everything else he had as lost. He wrote:
“But what things were gain to me, those I counted loss for Christ. Yea doubtless, and I count all things but loss for the excellency of the knowledge of Christ Jesus my Lord: for whom I have suffered the loss of all things, and do count them but dung, that I may win Christ” (Philippians 3:7-8)
How can you be in love with Jesus, and no one who has made contact with you for 2 hours is aware? How can you be in love with Jesus and you do not call the name Jesus, many times in 24 hours?
Some people have asked me how I deal with conflicts between my spiritual work and my psychiatric work. My response is usually that there is no conflict at all between true spirituality and medicine or science, for which psychiatry is a part . Nothing goes against the truth successfully. However, if one is religious about it, then there will be conflicts. Jesus Christ was the most spiritual and the least religious person while on earth. You can honour, promote or showcase Jesus anywhere you are by promoting truth, peace, compassion, tolerance, openness, transparency, honesty, sincerity, loyalty, diligence, humility and love etc. You can promote Him by praying for others without ceasing and without taking their permission. You can promote Him without verbally mentioning the name Jesus aloud. After all, they often say that actions speak louder than words. As we know, Jesus has many functional names. He is the Truth; He is the Prince of Peace; He is the Comforter; He is Light; He is Life; He is love etc. These names are there in the bible. So we can honour and promote Jesus without being religious.
What have you suffered for Jesus? Or, what are you ready to suffer for Christ ? What ‘marks’ are you ready to show others in 2019 that you have been crucified with Christ? True Christianity is what we do, not merely what we say.
After Jesus Christ, Brother Paul is a man after my heart. Here is a man who was not with Jesus physically on earth, yet his intimacy with Jesus was extraordinary. No apostle who interacted with Jesus physically will deny that apostle Paul was always at the top. He demonstrated an extraordinary, supernatural intimacy, passion and commitment to Jesus Christ that no one could imagine . Hear him further:
“I am crucified with Christ: nevertheless I live; yet not I, but Christ liveth in me: and the life which I now live in the flesh I live by the faith of the Son of God, who loved me, and gave himself for me” (Galatians 2:20)
“For to me to live is Christ, and to die is gain” (Philippians 3:21)
As for me, let no one find faults with me for the sake of Christ; rather, let it be known all over the world that nothing else is more important to me, but to know Christ the more and to increasingly experience the power in His word in my life.
Thank you Jesus!
To grow spiritually requires daily meditation with the word of God (Joshua 1:8) and seeking first the kingdom of God and its righteousness (Matthew 6:33). It also requires total fear of God, and spiritual training in the word of God: “Train yourself to be godly”(1Tim 4:7-8 NIV).

Memory Verse
“Every good gift and every perfect gift is from above, and cometh down from the Father of lights, with whom is no variableness, neither shadow of turning” ( James 1:17).Dearly Beloved
Good morning everyone. This is the day the Lord has made, let us rejoice and be glad in it.Jesus Christ is our perfect gift from God and is an example of a perfect man who ever lived. Let’s emulate Him. Whenever you are challenged, remember Jesus. How would Jesus react in such situation? Perfection is an individual responsibility. Our ancestral father Abraham walked perfectly with God ( Genesis 17:1), so we too can walk with God in perfection.
In Christ Jesus, our God is perfect and He expects His children to walk with Him in perfection. Many Christians are unable to pay attention to details. They treat mistakes and errors lightly. A single mistake may be bad enough to end a person’s life prematurely. The truth is that no man can be perfect by his own strength or works but by the grace of God though the Holy Spirit of God. When God called Abraham, he was directed to pay attention to details and be perfect:
“And when Abram was ninety years old and nine, the LORD appeared to Abram, and said unto him, I am the Almighty God; walk before me, and be thou perfect” (Genesis 17:1).
In Christ Jesus our God does not compromise on perfection. Jesus commanded all His children to be perfect, saying:
“Be ye therefore perfect, even as your Father which is in heaven is perfect” ( Matthew 5:48)
As you study the word of God, please learn to pay attention to details and be diligent. All the blessings of Deuteronomy 28:1-14, requires diligence and perfection. A single error could deprive you of God’s blessings.

Word for Today: Spiritual heart transplant is a necessity in 2019.

Memory Verse
“A new heart also will I give you, and a new spirit will I put within you: and I will take away the stony heart out of your flesh, and I will give you an heart of flesh” (Ezekiel 36:26).
Dearly BelovedGreetings of the season to everyone, especially the households of God.
We praise the Almighty God, the Father of our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ for what He is about to do on earth in 2019. Brother James advised us: “If any of you lack wisdom, let him ask of God…”(James 1:5). In life we know from the word of God that wisdom is the principle thing…(Proverbs 4:7). Wisdom is in the words of God.
I encourage every every reader of this message to start learning how to pray and fast, even if you don’t have full understanding of how it works. When I listen to some hatred and curses messages being preached in some churches and in some other religious faith today, my heart bleeds. These messages are NOT the messages of our Lord Jesus Christ. Jesus Christ, the Spirit of God, is an embodiment of TOLERANCE, PATIENCE, PEACE and LOVE for humanity.
Many Christians are still carnal, including church leaders. Many Christians need spiritual heart transplant. I pray that most people reading this message will go on their knees and ask God for new heart. Only Jesus Christ (the Truth), can transplant your heart and give you a new spirit, with reference to the Holy Spirit that dwells in Christ Jesus.
Without a new heart and a new spirit, a Christian will be struggling with sin, wickedness and unrighteousness. This is because our original stony heart is very wicked beyond imagination as revealed by Jeremiah:
“The heart is deceitful above all things, and desperately wicked: who can know it?” (Jeremiah 17:9)Jesus Christ Himself, enables us to know that our original natural heart is the main source of evil:
“For out of the heart proceed evil thoughts, murders, adulteries, fornications, thefts, false witness, blasphemies” (Matthew 15:19).Ask God in Christ Jesus to give you a new HEART and a new SPIRIT today. A heart that will make it easy for you to follow righteousness and do good. A heart that is sensitive to wrong doings and negative emotions. A heart that will enable you to forgive one another and forgive your neighbours easily. A heart that will help you to love the word of God and obey the word of God diligently. A heart that will help you to speak the word of God. A heart of flesh!
I stand on the authority of the word of God and I don’t lie, this very year, many people will be shocked at what the Almighty God will do to our great ‘men and women’ of God all over the world, who refuse to repent. The spiritual revival and revolution has started, and there is no going back.
May you receive a NEW HEART and a NEW SPIRIT today in Jesus name. Amen & Amen.
