*Topic:* Never Frown
*Text:* Philippians 4:4

“Rejoice in the Lord alway: and again I say, Rejoice” Philippians 4:4.

The apostle Paul found a key in Christ Jesus in the course of doing the work of Christ; the key is to remain in continuous joy in the Holy Spirit. What spurred him on was to apply this key daily in whatever circumstances he found himself in.

When Jesus Christ appointed him He made it clear to Paul that he would suffer many things for His name’s sake.

The apostle was ready to do the work for Christ no matter what. To overcome every obstacle, Paul chose to rejoice evermore.

This key has been committed to every Christian. It is our choice to use it, and failure to use it results in complaints, frowns, murmuring, sadness and even death.

The devil’s strategy is to take away our joy in Christ and we must not allow him. Any time he shows his wiles we should see it as an occasion to rejoice and we shall overcome.

Beloved let us choose to remain in the joy of the Lord which is our strength, amen.

Memory Verse
“And be not conformed to this world: but be ye transformed by the renewing of your mind, that ye may prove what is that good, and acceptable, and perfect, will of God” ( Romans 12:2).

Dearly Beloved
This is the day the Lord has made. Let’s make the best use of the day. Good morning to everyone.

I have said it a few times, whether we see it or not, this year 2019, the power of God is going to be manifested heavily on the surface of the earth, amongst individuals, organisations, communities and nations.

In Christ , God has the best thoughts and plans for us ( Jeremiah 29:11).

Be ready and willing to align your thoughts, words and actions with that of God in Christ Jesus. You can transform your life positively, simply by aligning your thoughts and actions to God’s words and doing what the word of God says(simple obedience). If you are NOT satisfied with your current situation, do not fold your arms, remain there, and be complaining and grumbling. Everyone has the opportunity to CHANGE positively. It’s often said that change is the only thing that is permanent in life. You can change. I can change. The word of God is the agent of transformation.

On a daily basis, never you set out for the day without appreciating God and having one or two verses in the word of God to guide you and shine His light upon you. We are to meditate on the word of God day and night (Joshua 1:8). Remember, the entrance of the word of God into your heart and spirit gives light and understanding ( Psalm 119:130). Without the word of God, you walk in darkness even during the day.

Remember, that we have individual responsibility to key into the New Thing God is about to do for us in 2019:

“And he that sat upon the throne said, Behold, I make all things new. And he said unto me, Write: for these words are true and faithful” (Revelation 21:5).

No one has ever had an encounter with the living Word of God and remained the same. By reading this message, you are willingly having an encounter with the living Word, your source of life and light.

To grow spiritually requires daily meditation with the word of God (Joshua 1:8) and seeking first the kingdom of God and its righteousness (Matthew 6:33). It requires total fear of God, and spiritual training in the word of God: “Train yourself to be godly”(1Tim 4:7-8 NIV).

Word for Today: Be a Spiritual Person in 2019

Memory Verse
“It is the spirit that quickeneth; the flesh profiteth nothing: the words that I speak unto you, they are spirit, and they are life” (John 6:63).

Dearly Beloved

We salute everyone in the name of the Lord, especially members of the family of our great God in Christ Jesus. A very good morning to you all.

Beloved, as you start off this year, make every effort to become spiritual. In my view, many people out there that are lacking in spiritual awareness, within the church and outside the church. Interestingly, I have met a few unbelievers ( such as Atheist) who told me they are spiritual persons. This suggests that one can be spiritual to some extent without ‘going to Church’ or attending the ‘Mosque’, ‘Temple’ or ‘Synagogue’. Personally, my understanding is that everyone can become spiritual to an extent, even without belonging to a religious group. Religions are meant to be platforms for spiritual growth, with regard to bringing out the best spiritual virtues of humility, diligence, honesty, transparency, mercy, forgiveness , joy, peace, kindness, compassion and love. There is no law against these virtues as they cut across religions and cultures.

According Jesus Christ Himself in the memory verse, the words of God are spirit and life. This implies that the words of man are spirit and they can be the source of life or death depending on who man align himself with. The book of Proverbs says death and life are in the power of the tongue ( Proverbs 18:21).

In the Parable of the Sower, Jesus Christ enables us to know that the word of God is a spiritual seed; he explained:
“Now the parable is this: The seed is the word of God” ( Luke 8:11). In life, we reap what we sow ( Galatians 6:7). Please, do not allow anything in this world to take away the word of God in you or interfere with your source of life.
Nothing in the world compares with the word of God.

Meditating regularly on the word of God should be a significant source of spiritual growth and strength for those who believe in God. Become a good ground for the word of God. Be sincere and honest. Have a good heart. Think no evil of anyone. Allow the word of God to produce the ‘fruit of the Spirit’ ( Galatians 5:22) in you for others to see.

Jesus explained :
“No man, when he hath lighted a candle, covereth it with a vessel, or putteth it under a bed; but setteth it on a candlestick, that they which enter in may see the light” ( Luke 8:16).

Let your light shines for men to see. Do not hesitate to share the word of God with others. There is always a WORD in the word of God to share. When you sincerely share the word of God with others, you are sowing seed, and your harvest time must come.

The word of God is the word of life and
the entrance of the word of God gives light. There no excuse to have to word of God and be miserable in life.

Be spiritually enlightened.

Word for Today: The power of forgiveness

Word for Today:The power of forgiveness

Powerful video indeed!

Dearly Beloved, endeavour to forgive that person that has wronged you today. Time is running out!

JESUS said: “But if ye forgive not men their trespasses, neither will your Father forgive your trespasses” ( Matthew 6:15).

Yes, “I shall not die, but live, and declare the works of the LORD” ( Psalm 118:17)

“Blessed be the LORD for evermore. Amen, and Amen” (Psalm 89:52).

Thank you Jesus.
